If you're in the mood for some good old country cooking this is the place to be. This place gets really busy during lunch for a small place so make sure you beat the line before noon. I ordered the Texas cheese steak on toast it was buttery and cheesy just how I like it. They have really good Mac and cheese too.

Can't believe I just now found this place, it has been in Augusta for a very long time... and I can see why!

WOW is all we could say when it came to eating lunch here for our first time ever.

We both got the bacon cheeseburgers and asked them to add an egg on top. Amazing, this is a REAL hand made patty and grilled to perfection. Added on a heaping helping of fresh cut fries, again... AMAZING.

Can't say enough about this hidden treasure hiding over off Peach Orchard Road, it is try a good experience eating out. Bring the family for breakfast also, I am sure you will NOT be disappointed!

Great quality and delicious meals in a friendly family atmosphere. My all time favorite is the fried to perfection pork chops with green beans and rice with gravy! Thank you for all the great meals and memories. Our family loves it here 🥰

I love miss Cathy and skinny Minnie sevices each trip. I've grown really close to miss Cathy granddaughter while going there for food. She's so quiet and adorable.

The daily lunch specials are always good. I like the Mac and cheese, and the chicken and dumplings the most, problem is, these two items are never available on the same day! The cornbread pancake is delicious as well.

Got Saturday breakfast of 2 eggs, grits, and country ham. It's not on the busiest stretch of Peach Orchard so you have to know where you're going but it was worth looking for. The country ham was generous for the price and I thought some of the best I've had at a restaurant. Appropriately salty but not too much and more tender than most. Service was good and three different folks made sure the coffee cup stayed full. My sister got the Pancake special with city ham and took half of hers home. Good value too, less than 20 bucks. If you're on the Southside wanting breakfast I'd recommend them.

Had a brunch with my wife and daughter. The staff was really nice. Gives you a nostalgic feel when walking in to it. It reminds me of a place me and my grandparents told me about. Found out about this place from my wife. The food was quick and super delicious.

Next best thing to Woolworth’s. Long wait today but everyone was patient and jovial. Bubblegum machine giving out 1/2 off entire meal gumballs.
We had the patty melts w homefries for 2 w drinks for $20.

Very cheap and plentiful home style breakfast. Platters, omelettes, pancakes, sandwiches, etc they really have everything. Our service was outstanding. Those ladies were really in there hustling!

Wait staff were kind and efficient. They recommended this lunch to me and it was delicious! (The cake slice didn't make it to the photo; I'd already eaten it.) Ham was delicious, mac and cheese was homemade, the pancake was a little burned from the grill but too tasty too care, and the cake was rich and fudgey but somehow a little dry. I was also impressed that the prices on the menu were the prices rung up! You'll know exactly how much you're spending here.

Fried pork chops. Smoked sausage. Corn beef hash. Waffles. Grits. Love. It don't get no better. Wonderfulnfood set in a low key back home setting. The wonderful ladies preparing the meals are so busy they barely even look up as they dash from one spectacular dish to the next feeding workers, families, and the wonderful mix of colors, creeds, and ages some of the best food that money can buy. It's also super affordable. I brought at least 6 different entrees as once and may have paid $60. Don't miss out. Love in a Styrofoam box.

Great location for a quick bite or a relaxing meal. The food is cooked as if it were cooked at home in your own kitchen. The menu is diverse. Everyone will find something they will love!! I had the French Toast and it was delicious!!!

Made my first visit today, got breakfast. The staff were very friendly, attentative and efficient. The food was delicious!! I got the breakfast platter with grits, eggs and sausage patty with toast and a sweet tea. EVERYTHING was on point. The atmosphere is like a throwback diner. Loved the old signs, such a nostalgic feeling. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Great place. My first time the waitress was so friendly. I went for breakfast not crowded at all. A small place but with a great atmosphere. I will return.
