The pad Thai is different— sparse protein and bean sprouts, very thin sauce, the noodles are chewy and good. The red curry reminded me of Penang curry. 2 was perfect amount of spice for me.

Universe doesn’t disappoint!!!

We were on our way to another Thai restaurant when our Lyft driver suggested us to try this place. I thank her and the universe for this suggestion. It does not disappoint at all. We ordered pepaya salad, shrimp rolls, Tom Yum Soup, Tom Kha Soup, and Pork Satay. They have a spiciness level from 1-5 and I went for 4 (having low expectation of the spiciness level). All foods were flavorful and the taste wasn’t shy at all. The Tom Yum and Tom Kha were on point, and we fell in love with the grilled pork satay. They were serious about the spiciness level. I’m Indonesian and I get sweats (happy one) here. This is a highly highly recommended Thai & Burmese restaurant. I applaud the chefs and the service as well. Definitely going to come back for sure. I’ll be a regular. 🥰🥰🥰Note: I added the spiciness level of each dish on the pictures below.

I was a little thrown off by the Pad Thai noodles, but it was so good! I got a little extra sauce and #3 heat. I was just passing through Columbia on my way to a graduation and decided to stop. I had a little time to kill so I ate it in the parking lot. It is as so amazing, I had to order a second one so I could eat it on my way home. Incredible food and Service from Tiger Chef. I have found my new favorite Thai place. Sadly its 2 hours from my house.

Tiger Chef was quite a pleasant surprise. The Thai iced tea was amazing. The chicken satay was really good. The noodle dishes were not bad but could’ve been better. A major negative was that the Tom Yum soup was extremely salty. Overall, I would give a 4 star but the friendliness of the staff makes this a 5 star review.

I really loved my food. We ordered Crab Rangoon it was lightly fried, very crispy, and the filling was smooth and delicious. Tiger fried rice was great the vegtables, rice , and chicken were cooked perfectly. The pad Thai was delicious such a solid dish, can't go wrong ordering that. The star of the meal was the green curry. It was a punch in the mouth of flavors, so aromatic, spicy, vegtables were so complementary. Hands down best dish we had today. I can't wait to come back. I would recommend coming here for sure, the food will not disappoint.

Not a fancy restaurant, but the food is terrific! The portions are generous and glad to be able to have leftovers for later. They also have carryout and delivery. Support local and give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

I got Tiger Chef via Uber Eats so I haven't been there before in person, but I will definitely be doing a date night there soon!! The food I got was to die for. And I am a real curry and Rangoon snob! But their red curry and crab rangoons are fabulous!! I couldn't stop eating them long enough to take a photo before I realized I only had one left! But the ratio of the insides vs the wrap is great not to crunchy just perfect! I typically get the Penang Curry but they didn't have any so I got the Red curry basically the same thing just not as sweet. I got a level two in spicy and it is just enough to kick to feel it on your tongue but not hurt!! I going to end this here and dig in!

For some reason I can't post photos on this review but I want too!

A hidden gem of Columbia! This is top notch Thai/Burmese food.

Perfect sauces and perfect dishes of delicious food.

The pictures in the menu don’t do justice for the actual food served. It was beyond amazing.

My new favorite place in Columbia.

The Food here is wonderful. I will say I've not had a lot of different dishes. I've had several of the fried rice dishes and they are all great. The egg rolls are some of the best on town.

Authentic Thai with a surprising Burmese twist. By far the best Asian in Columbia. Humble digs, amazing flavor, no msg and no thick starchy bs Americanized sauces. The Burmese curry and cucumber salad for me.

Such a great restaurant for mid Missouri. Columbia is lucky to have Tiger Chef. The salads are amazing. Get a tea leaf when it's available.

The Burmese selections may or may not be available, but are great when you can get them.

Great food with just the right amount of heat. We both ordered medium and both dishes came out with the same amount of heat. We had Thai Basil chicken and red curry chicken. Both were excellent.

I've had the curries and they're always great. I also love the soups, Tom Yum, etc. My wife loves the Basil Fried Rice. They just started doing Sushi. They partnered with a very experienced Sushi Chef. I had the Combo 4 last night. It was really great.Tiger Chef is one of our very few go to places when we eat out. I've never had a bad experience with them.

It's an Asian restaurant in Columbia, Missouri. It serves mainly Thai and Burmese cuisines. We had papaya salad and other Thai menus. The taste is superb and prices are reasonable. As I was hungry, I didn't have a chance to take pictures of the foods. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to have Thai and Burmese cuisines. I will come here again if I visited Columbia in the future.
