Folklore Coffee

Folklore is an amazing new coffee shop in downtown Lemont! The space is absolutely beautiful! It’s very cozy and warm. I had their house blend “Golden Hour” roast. It is easily the best cup of coffee I’ve had in a while. They also have a great selection of pastries from a local baker. They have gluten free and vegan options as well. I can’t wait to become a regular here!

Being greeted by the owner at the order counter goes to show the heart and soul put into this small business. Aesthetically, this coffee shop can’t get much cuter. I was surprised to see how creatively a small place was converted into maximizing space. Plenty of seating to work, chat or wait the short few minutes for your drink. I got an iced latte and my friend did a cold brew — both were delicious. All around great new addition to Lemont!

Wonderful and Cozy coffee shop! Visited while in town to see family. It is such a perfect fantasy vibe to match the folklore name. I can't wait to watch this buisness grow over time. The drinks were lovely and the service was tremendous! I can't wait to be in town again :D

First and foremost the coffee is delicious and full of flavor. I had a cappuccino and was not disappointed. The staff was wonderful and friendly even while busy and the shop itself is a cozy spot to enjoy some coffee and pastries. Bonus points for having plenty of parking around. This definitely won't be my last time here.

There is nothing I love more than mochas (hot or iced) and cronuts, so the fact that Folklore carries both is a 10/10. The services was so quick and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and of course magical! And last but definitely not least was the coffee. My mocha latte had the perfect amount and they use my favorite chocolate too! So warm and delicious. I cannot wait to come back again and again! Thank you Folklore for making Lemont your home ☕

I just moved to the area and left my go-to coffee shop behind. Some places out in the burbs have great atmosphere and friendly service, but the coffee can be just okay.

I felt like I took a risk ordering a gingerbread oat milk latte, since I usually just try a shop’s drip when I visit for the first time. My drink was AMAZING! not too sweet, and a perfectly crafted espresso drink; just the way I like it! The shop just opened so the place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, but I’m looking forward to coming back on a week day to work. Plus, I’m obsessed with the mystical/folklore theme! Definitely adding Folklore merch to my Christmas list.

Five stars across-the-board. The coffee was very good as was the gluten-free coffee flavored brownie. The prices were a little high, but made sense for what I ordered and the environment was full of families and coziness. I love that Lemont finally has a decent coffee shop and I look forward to my next visit.

I can’t decide what’s my favorite thing about Folklore - the decor, coffee, or friendly vibe. All of it combined make it the best coffee shop!! I had a latte from the holiday menu which was amazing, and will definitely be back for all the other amazingness on the menu. Lemont is lucky to call this gem their own.

Folklore Coffee is an amazing addition to downtown Lemont! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with something for everyone. I had the house Golden Hour blend, which was a perfect pick me up before strolling through downtown. It was very kid-friendly, my daughter enjoyed a donut (with sprinkles of course) and the cute neon sign. We were greeted with smiles and the staff was helpful and pleasant the entire time. Stopping in will be on my to do list every time I’m in the area.

A great addition to downtown Lemont! The house blend, “Golden Hour” is a new favorite! They have excellent hot chocolate as well! The staff is very friendly and always greet you with a smile. The pastries are extremely fresh and the cronut is out of this world! This is my go place for coffee.

This is an amazing gem in downtown Lemont! I had the tea and my husband had the coffee and both were fantastic! The owner and staff are so friendly and provide top notch customer service. The chocolate croissant was the best I’ve ever had. Very cute and cozy atmosphere - I will definitely be a regular!

Visited during sneak peek at Lemont's Holiday kick-off. The place was packed. The owner greeted us with a lovely smile and took our order. I chose hot chocolate with marshmallows and a muffin. All was yummy. The decor is welcoming and warm. I'm a tea drinker, so I will definitely try some next visit. Wish I lived closer; would visit more often. I am a huge supporter of small business. Don't miss this one.

As a college student, I was SO EXCITED when I heard downtown Lemont was getting a coffee shop, and folklore did not disappoint! During my month home, I visited over 5 times and each experience was amazing! The atmosphere throughout the shop is enjoyable and relaxing! While the decorations and atmosphere themselves are top notch, the coffee and pastries are what truly made my experience! The cronuts are so unique and delicious and the coffee is truly authentic and beyond the commercialized coffee we have all become accustomed too! The customer service was incredible and I always felt like I was being checked on to make sure I was having the best experience possible! If you are in the downtown Lemont area, I HIGHLY recommend Folklore! I can’t wait to watch it become a staple in downtown Lemont!

Upon entering, you will get a warm welcome and enjoy a beautiful photogenic place with a strong sense of community. Tessa and her lovely baristas have cultivated my new favorite coffee stop. Between the insanely crafty seasonal drinks and their signature latte, honey lavander, it is an absolute knockout. There is truly something for everybody- even if coffee isn't your jam.

A locally owned coffee shop is exactly what downtown Lemont needed and this new spot goes above and beyond! Ample seating, an amazing house blend, and an array of pastries- what more could you ask for?! I had the cronut and it was amazing- highly recommend. The decor is adorable so it’s a great place to meet up with a friend, get some work done, or bring the kids to kill a few hours during the day. I will be back!

Great coffee, sweets, cozy and warm vibes, and a neon photo op. We purchased a hot chocolate (peppermint for the win), and their house blend coffee and it was honestly some of the best local coffee I’ve had. It’s so exciting to have such a great place in the area! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely awesome atmosphere located in a great 100+ year old building in historic downtown Lemont. The space and aesthetic inside is RAD. The house blend coffee is delicious. A friendly staff & phenomenal owner. I will be frequenting Folklore !

Folklore is a welcome addition to downtown Lemont. The location by the train station is perfect for my commute in the morning so I'm excited I don't need to go out of my way when I dont have time to make coffee. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the service was quick. Skip Starbucks, this is the spot!
