This is a must visit establishment! We are staying at the thousand trails RV park about 2 miles down the road and we have visited this establishment twice in two weeks so far. First off the customer service and environment is super warm and friendly. You feel like friends when you walk in. Secondly, the food is outstanding! we even took some friends back and highly recommend their wings, fried apples, burgers, and fried pickles. The establishment seems to be very health-conscious and serves real food not frozen prepackaged meals.

Priced well for the quality that you receive!!
This would be reason enough to come back to Acton!

Delicious vegan food!

This is a complete hidden gem! I had the honor of having a conversation with Larry about the backstory of his restaurant and the rising of also including vegan food towards his menu! I was skeptical about the price of the food being a bit high, but once I had a bite it was totally worth it. I recommend everyone getting the fried caramelized apples! I will be returning here soon to try another unique vegan dish! You must come if you are a vegan!

Decor is a bit on the rustic side, but I feel like that's on brand for the name. The food was fantastic, everything was delicious, and reasonably priced for what you get. The ranch was a bit different, thick and a lot of dill, but definitely tasty. The waitress was plesant and attentive, it's nice to have a restaurant actually listen when I ask for my burger medium rare. Will definietly be a go to spot for us anytime we're in the area.

Hands down, one of the best burgers I've had in my life. Served by an outstandingly friendly staff. 10 out of 5

Fabulous find off the beaten path in Acton, CA. Great environment, great food, great people. Doesn't feel at all like it's in southern California! Easily could be Wyoming, a major plus. Hope to get back there again soon.

Absolutely phenomenal place. The people running it and the staff are kind and welcoming to everyone (hikers included). Had the western burger and it's one of the best burgers I've had in California so far. Fries were tasty and I had to get one of the side salads after seeing my friends eating theirs. Try the balsamic dressing - it is HEAVENLY. They have vegan/vegetarian options as well and delicious sundaes, too. We were so well taken care of here. Favorite restaurant along the PCT so far. Food is from scratch too- DELICIOUS

On the highest price point for the area, it is also the most gourmet food in the area. Expect amazing food, at 18-25 dollars an entrée. I highly recommend the southwest chicken sandwich and the meatloaf. It has some kind of whiskey glaze that is delicious.

Amazing find! The owners are super cool, but more importantly the food is amazing! Drinks are great! Bloody marry is 10/10.

Came here to listen to The Sweewater Gentleman blue grass band. Music was great and so were the chicken tenders I ordered. Nice and juicy chicken with honey mustard and chipotle aioli to dip in, the combination of flavors was delicious. Main room was packed but found a spot by the bar. Great night!

Great place for burger and fries. They have many vegan options! That was unexpected for me in a small town like Acton. I wish they had organic options too but I’m sure they’ll get there eventually. The fries are crispy and delicious and everything tastes fresh. 100% recommended. The waitress Rachelle is super funny and friendly.

Good quality food at reasonable prices. This is a hard working group of good people who strive to deliver quality & service. It’s a cool old western bar vibe but in a comfortable family friendly setting.

First time to '49er Saloon. It was nice of sit on the patio. I had a wonderful root beer float. My friend had the sundae.

We stayed at the Thousand Trails campground in Acton for a week and on our last night there we decided to check out the restaurant. I wish we would have visited sooner !! I had the sirloin with mashed potatoes...VERY GOOD AND TENDER ! My husband had a Western burger that was done
to perfection !
Our waitress' name was Shelby( like the car) and she was so helpful,friendly and chipper.

This place was fantastic. They are super friendly to hikers. Anyone on trail I highly recommend you stopping here. Great food at reasonable prices, their home made ranch was stellar.

They provide areas for charging, wifi and don't try and push you put as soon as the meal over.

My reviews are heavily weighted for customer service and this place was top notch friendly.

Amazing spot we just happened to stumble upon after a day at Vazquez Rocks and exploring the area. The food is amazing, staff is great, and the owner is super friendly. Will be coming back!

I was lucky enough to be part of a feature film at this location. The food is amazing! The service is over the top. Definitely a place I would come back and visit on a motorcycle ride, passing through town, you name it.

I ordered the Western bacon burger, and it aims to please. Onion rings for crispy, Burger is cooked right to order. The place has a cozy old school bar feel inside. The outdoor patio please open and Airy.

The owner is awesome, and take pride in his work. He knows the history of the bar from the 50s.

I definitely recommend this spot.
