Crazy Otto's Diner

Recommended by a friend Crazy Otto's Diner was worth the drive. I had a chef salad with ranch. I had to ask if the salads were big and she said yes..and OH MY!! Huge!! I couldn't eat it all. It was delicious!, tomatoes, ham turkey, carrots and fresh lettuce. My son had the breakfast burrito amazing. Hash browns were plenty and he didn't even finish his burrito, huge!! And we brought the hash browns home. The cherry pie a la mode was so satisfying. Best diner pie I've had in a long time! Can't wait to go again and try the pancakes!!

Huge burgers with something that tasted like Big Mac sauce on them, plenty of bacon on the bacon cheeseburger. Seemed homemade, very delicious! Decor is unique and service was great! Military discount offered.

We loved the generous portions here. The biscuits n gravy were delish, along with the Crazy Otto Burger meat omelette. The staff was super friendly and attentive!!! 👌🏻🤗

I had a pancake order that came with 3. They were huge. I was only able to eat one. It was delicious. I had enough left over to have pancakes for dinner. The service was great. I liked the option on the receipt if we pay cash or card we can save some percentage. Who wouldn’t like to save some money if possible. Over all my family and I felt a good vibe. I highly recommend to have a good American breakfast.

They're breakfast is awesome and huge. My wife and I split and it fills us both up and I can eat a lot! You won't be disappointed. We went 2x when we were at the Soledad Canyon Thousand Trails RV park which is about 4 miles from Crazy Otto's.

This place is honestly so delicious, and they give you huge portions. Some of THE best pancakes around, for sure--I've been coming here for over a decade. Usually the service is pretty good, but my boyfriend and I went in today, and the woman serving our table was really rude to us. We are young, so I think she was assuming we weren't going to tip, and that is just so wrong to discriminate like that. She was being so nice to everyone else--who was middle aged--around us, and didn't pay any attention to us. Didn't refill our water, didn't ask us if we needed anything, and gave us the check with our food. It was honestly insane how rude she was. We've both worked at restaurants before, and now how it is. We always tip 15% or more. She was so rude, I'm honestly never coming back. She was middle aged, tall lady with light brown/graying hair, and thick eye brows. I really hope someone talks to her. I'm so upset at how dismally we were treated :(

I have come to this place since I was a kid and now I have been removed from the AV and lived across the county for 22 years now. When I come back to visit. This is a must stop to eat. Still the great food as it always has been. Love their omelettes. Personally the Chili Dog Omlette is my go to but time was the crab omlette. The biscuits and gravy are delicious. I love this place and love the memories it.always brings back eating here.

My waitress is awesome. I walk in, she sees me & my order is passed on to the cook. My coffee is hot & tasty. My ham Steak and eggs are always cooked to perfection. I know of no other place that can match Crazy Ottos portions and home style grub. I've been going for 20 plus years. I hope I make it another 20!

Always love coming here, the portions are huge for the price and it's always worth a visit. Waitresses were super nice and helpful.

We loved the very generous portions, the biscuits and gravy and the Crazy Otto Burger meat omelette! The staff was very kind and friendly. Will definitely come back. It's right off the 14 freeway, between Magic mountain and Big Bear!!

Great service and topped off our coffee cups while waiting for our food. Steak was a bit tough but was still tasty.

Good service, large food portions, accessible parking, very quiet neighborhood, in general..I like this place a lot, I will definitely visit it again.

I was honestly impressed with the biscuits and gravy. I have rarely had such yummy biscuits in my life. It’s worth going back for more. The gravy was bacon based (according to the waitress) and it was nice. The biscuits were not drowned in gravy. The gravy was in a bowl and I was able to butter the biscuit and dip it into the gravy. Revolutionary!

Best burger I eaten since I arrived to Los Angeles a week ago. Sharlene, the waitress was very kind also. But my English is not so good and I didn't understood that the 20% tip I tell her to take was not charged when she gave me the change in cash. So I left without leaving a tip and now I feel ashamed and stupid! To Sharlene and the cook, I don't know if you will read this, but my total apologies because the meal was truly delicious and I swear you that if I could return to give that tip I would do it for sure!

We stopped by for the omelettes. They are enormous. We could have shared and still had too much food. We were both pleased with the quality and taste. The service was friendly and fast. We couldn't have created an omelette half as big in less time. It was also very easy off and on the freeway.

Not a chain. Great breakfasts with excellent biscuits and gravy, try the chicken fried steak. Burgers and sandwiches, fries and rings all offerings are good. Prime rib on weekends and holidays. Large portions at reasonable prices.

First time eating here. Was surprised by the piece of ham...be prepared to eat! Food was great, service was great.
