I cannot praise this restaurant and the staff enough. My boyfriend and I had the most incredible night here, EVER! We were so lucky to find this place last minute.

The decor is beautiful, from the bar, the dining room, to the smoking lounge. The manager/bartender/server for the night, Dylan, went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Our waitress was friendly and polite, we were even lucky enough to meet the head chef and sous. We also met the wonderful Jazz couple that performed the night we went. We stayed here for *hours*. No exaggeration!

FANTASTIC FOOD AND DRINKS!! And for someone who eats at a lot of places, the pricing for everything was more than reasonable, especially for the quality. I still tell the story of my visit here, and i’m going to for years to come. I am so excited to go back with my friends and family. If you’re considering any restaurant in Southampton, for real, try Main Prospect.

The food was amazing and fresh! Service was great as well. On this particular day they had someone playing live, with a great choice of music. Overall great atmosphere! My family will come back again.

Such a vibe!!! This place has everything. Amazing backyard with lots of seating, a bougie lounge with a bar right as you walk in, main dinning room has piano which I bet is awesome during dinner, and even an arcade for the kiddos (or me). Food was good. We started with a brunch special with an assortment of pastries and muffins. YUM! I went with the Crème Brûlée stuffed French Toast and also tried the Eggs Benedict. Subbed the grits because I was craving them and they didn’t disappoint. Great spot!

The guys at main prospect went above & beyond!!! Thank you for the train dash. Our entire group is full & grateful on this 3 hr ride back to the city. Top service, we’ll be back!

What a fun, eclectic place. Great good and wonderful service. Outside seating. Great club like bar setting.

What a wonderful find in Southampton, away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of town. The service couldn't have been nicer and the brunch was fantastic.

We choose to do our event at Main Prospect because we heard how much people enjoy it!

From setting the date with Gina to doing a walk through with Ben right into and through the event, we were nothing less then impressed! The atmosphere, staff and food were just awesome.

We are thankful we choose Main Prospect and looking forward to doing more events here.

I had a wonderful meal and experience at Main Prospect. I was impressed with the service, food and atmosphere. You will feel welcome and have fun the whole time. We can not wait to go back. Loved hanging with Binh, Dylan and friends.

We loved the Main Prospect. It was part of a group birthday surprise for my sister. Everything was first class…from the initial contact, the fabulous meals for our group to the fantastic musicians (who were hard pressed to find a song we didn’t know!). Binh, the owner, really knows how to make you feel welcome…we could not have asked for a better dining experience. If you are going to Southampton…Main Prospect is the place to be.

Not your typical Hamptons scene however the food was excellent along with the service. Kind of like The American Hotel in Sag Harbor kind of vibe. 2nd time there and just as good the second time as the first. Would go back in a second. The Jazz quartet was really good as well. Perfect volume to enjoy a meal.

They hosted a Birthday Party for my Mother with about 20 people attending. The room had a fireplace and a bunch of Couches to socialize with my family. This was the best place by far that I've ever been for a Restaurant Birthday Dinner. Not to Mention that the Food was excellent and unique. The place also had a separate game room which would be excellent if your party included kids .

Dylan & MJ were very welcoming and attentive to everyone despite being the only staff working. Very clean place with great food. Trivia night was fun. I recommend!

We recently hosted a private event at Main Prospect and everything was perfect. The planning process was made simple by the management team who went above and beyond to assist us and make sure all of our needs and requests were met. The space itself is fantastic for an event, there is plenty of space to walk around (inside and out) as well as cozy seating areas for those who want to sit and relax. The game area was a huge hit and made it possible for adults to socialize while their children were entertained. The quality of the food was second to none and the presentation of each item was beautiful. I highly recommend checking out Main Prospect, whether it is for a cocktail from their outstanding cocktail list, a sit down dinner or private event.

Fabulous!! The staff, the food, the setting and ambience are all amazing and caring!!. We booked main prospect for tge After Party for our son’s wedding. Could not have been more perfect: all that we hoped for!! BRAVO!!. Highly recommend for ant special event you are considering

cool spot, lovely staff, wonderful owner , always a pleasure, place is tight , and it's one of the go to spots , not just in the summer , all winter long , for us locals , everyday happy hours, specials. bingo nights, trivia nights ,really great spot !

Finally, Southampton has a restaurant that is not only comfortable, friendly, and warm, but also welcoming. The food is exceptional and far from being the usual run-of-the-mill dishes. The prices are fair. The staff is terrific. We've needed a restaurant like this here in Southampton for quite some time. Plus, an iconic restaurant location in our village has been saved and brought back to life. If you're a fan of good food and fair prices the place to go is the corner of Main and Prospect streets.

Jazz night was a great night. Our dinners were excellent, best in town. We will keep this as our go to place. The decor and vibe are beautiful. We all can't wait to go back.
