Great authentic BBQ locals sitting with visitors putting the chew on sum Q'ue....too much pork fer just one fork. Heaping portions that won't punch your change purse.

Lots of old cast iron country objects that will test your knowledge and keep people off their phone. Taught my son what some of the items were once used for. Look but don't touch.

Went here for the first time yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and food!

Second time coming here. We loved everything. They have a drive thru, which is great. We got a couple of pork sandwiches and some fried pickles (an order came with 5, but we ate two on the way home). Their brunswick stew is probably the best I've ever had. We did order an extra side of bbq sauce because it's that good. Last time we were here we got the same, along with mac and cheese, baked beans and slaw. The slaw was a vinegar base, not mayo. The baked beans were good along with the mac and cheese. The price for every item we got was outstanding. I've been to countless bbq places with sandwiches costing 13$. The quality of this meat is the best I've had. I did order a gallon of sweet tea as well the first time we came. Excellent tea. I'm eager to come back and try everything on the menu. This is a must stop place for bbq!

A very unique place!

Delicious food in a very antique place. The inside of this unique restaurant will take you back in time. You can admire the decorations from back in the days while enjoying a delicious bbq sandwich. From outside, It might look like an old dirty ranch, but it is actually a very humble, old looking restaurant. Once you enter, the guys at the register will great you in a very respectful and attentive way. There is not much room for seating inside, but there is also seating available outside. There's a good variety of food in the menu. But you can not skip the BBQ pork, chicken, or beef.... simply a great place!

As far as I’m concerned Amos should be famous!! You like BBQ?🍗 You’ll love ❤ Amos!! You like Biscuits? You’ll love❤Amos!! They have a variety a platters and food that makes you go yummmmmmmmmm!! 😋Bottom line is you can’t go wrong here!! Patrons going in and out with smiles 😁 Some come support this local fantastic restaurant and enjoy the atmosphere they offer as well! Great for families or just all by yourself enjoying every bite!💯

Stopped there this morning while doing pest control in the area, the food and the service was absolutely fantastic!! I live for good food and good people and Amos most certainly has both. I’m gonna have to make a trip up here just to try the BBQ! If you’re near by you gotta try!

Even though this place would be easy to miss as you drive by, you don't want to miss it! The BBQ is delicious! The slaw is good but the potatoe salad is some of the best I have ever had!!!

If you are in the area to see Poole's Mill Bridge...you definitely need to grab a bite to eat here!

We decided to have breakfast here this morning on our daughter's recommendation and it was incredible! Food, especially the biscuits were delicious! The customer service was excellent! And we all went back for dinner and it was some of the best BBQ we've ever had! I wish I had taken photos from dinner! This place 8s amazing!

I love this place. Small home cooked BBQ and sides. The fries are a favorite. They are real potatoes. I had the ribs, lots of meat on them bones!
My mac and cheese had real shell pasta and tasty. Some places are just getting too production like in their food presentation. I like when I feel like I at at home.
The cool porch is my seating choice. But they had some tables inside in a nice cozy country setting.
I also met a friend today, she was nice but she really only wanted to share my plate with me.

We had been looking for a good BBQ place all morning. And this place came coming up at 5 stars. And the reviews were right. It was amazing. We will be back.

Great barbecue spot. Stopped in from North Carolina and I have to say the sandwich was so good! Friendly people and great food! Highly recommend!

Yall grab your memaw and get down to Amos BBQ. Excellent brisket, some the best fried okra I've had. Can't forget extra BBQ sauce it's slappin too. Forget sonny's get you some real BBQ at Amos.

Everything here is delicious! And you can't beat the atmosphere, in my opinion. I moved to VA, and haven't eaten here in about a year, but this morning I have been dreaming about getting some BBQ from Amos on my next trip back home to visit! If you're within range of this place, don't miss the opportunity to try some of the best BBQ you'll ever taste!

Great! They sell food for cheap prices, and really good quality and have cool antique decorations like a coca-cola vending mechine from the 40s

Great small place for a quick BBQ, the food is really good, the place needs some work but the food makes up for the looks. I was pretty amazed.

My wife is in love with this place. Small friendly service. Food prepared for you has you order it, yet service is very fast. It is great to see a business that still values customer service these days.
