FINALLY! An awesome USPS employee that goes above and beyond. Sam's customer service skills are above and beyond and just seems like an all around great guy. He helped the older gentlemen in front of me that was confused with patience and kindness and he even helped me carry a few bins out to my car. They are lucky to have him. If I was his supervisor I would be giving him a pay raise!

In the last 3 months, I've had 2 unrelated and very urgent issues. In both cases, Sudie was simply incredible. I failed to get her name the first time, but made sure I got it this time so I could shout from the rooftops how incredibly thankful I am to her for going FAR above and beyond her duties and helping my family. I've never had a bad experience at this location in general, but I had to call out this extremely great customer service on these last two occasions.

I often come to this post office for my shipping needs. The staff here are always nice, courteous, and respectful to me.

For the most part, the wait times here range between 3-7 minutes. However, recently because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the wait times are sometimes in the 10-20 minute range. But that is okay to me considering the situation at hand. The couple days after national holidays usually have the longer wait times, but that is also expected.

The lines are long but the supervisor for 48315 is great. I had a package from Israel that was SO screwed up by Allen Park, and this guy stepped in and fixed it in no time. Like I said, there is always a line, so use the kiosk and save the wait. Other than that - 5 stars - great service - especially when compared to most others....

I have great success at the post office near 22 Mile Road and Van Dyke in Utica / Shelby Township. They are spot-on quick in servicing the customer and very pleasant to deal with. I tend to get a little disgusted with the post office at Garfield Road and Canal, in Clinton Township Michigan. They have a postal worker at that location who is so slow that for every one customer he services the other postal workers can service up to five or six people. He's a nice enough guy, but when the line starts going out the door to the parking lot, it gets a little bit stupid, in my opinion. And I'm not even talking about during the holidays. Often what happens at this location is that only one person is working the counter and it seems obviously irresponsible of the USPS to have only one person working a damn counter when the Line is going out the door. I would encourage you to find other post offices than the one at Canal and Garfield in Clinton Township.

I feel like the people who post negatively on this page put that on themselves. I've dealt with this post office a few times now with issues/questions, and never was met with rudeness. Both the clerks and supervisors I have talked to were very friendly and were more than happy to help with what was needed (because I was polite, or they are not as bad as people make them out to be). It is a customer service job. If you're rude right off the bat, do not expect anything better in return (yes it may sound unprofessional, but they are people too and are not servants/perfect).

I drive out of my way to go to this location. As someone who has to ship for my small business, the items are always scanned in day/of even if I do the after hours drop off. It’s clean and I appreciate the work the employees are doing, especially during the pandemic because the demand is great and these people are surely overworked. Thank you!!

Wonderful service even during these chaotic times. I used to go to the one on garfield which was a disaster. Never open, they changed what services they offered depending on the day.

This location works hard and their employees are very patient. I know there's only so much they can do once the package leaves their hands but they definitely do what they can. I got my PO Box set up in minutes, they were able to help confirm my business was attached to it, and they definitely put an effort in to try and help even if they don't have all the answers. That is more than I can say for other locations.

I'm honestly ashamed in the amount of people that have gone out of there way to make compliants in a review and low rate this branch, based on things that this branch has no control over (like holidays, really people, all the branches take the same holidays?!)

I, for one, have never had any problems with my courier, the service of the delivery, or tellers. I've used the online system to stop mail, to which I had no issues with as well.

The only thing that I have had to deal with, as negative feedback, would be that there have been long lines, occasionally, for waiting for the teller, but that's because it was around Christmas, which is expected!

I dont get the negative reviews. Maybe a bunch of politicians trying to continue to make any post office look bad. Ive lived her 20 years. The staff is always friendly, effiecient & knowledgable. Im sure whatever problems that occur do not happen on purpose. Great job usps 48316.

I went to the post office on a cold Wednesday at noon. The sidewalk was also being replaced which required customers to use more care in the parking lot around the construction. Once inside, I had many questions about address forwarding. The service was fast, friendly and helpful.

Our USPS is awesome. I never have an issue. And the ppl are awesome and friendly. Love Shelby for that reason. Location is the difference.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The line was long but it's a post office lol. If you go during a busy time it's obviously going to be busy. Really nice inside as well and convenient location.

Very courteous and helpful staff as well as the Supervisor. The Supervisor is generally helping out customers at the self help kiosk.

I need to send out packages on a daily basis. Sometimes it is really busy and seems slow but the people working here have always been very helpful and friendly
