Le Pleasant Hôtel

Le pleasant hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The facility is immaculate, beautiful, and comfortable. And the breakfast might just be the best we have ever had! We might just have to drive the hour and a half to get there for the creative, unique and exquisitely prepared breakfast experience!

My fiance and I drove from Montreal to Sutton for a winery weekend and stayed at Le Pleasant. It was a really charming B&B experience. We had rented a Tesla for the weekend so were grateful they had a charger for us! Kimberly, the lady who checked us in at the front was super kind & helpful. The room was extremely clean & bed was really comfortable! The best part of our stay was the delicious breakfast and coffee we enjoyed. We look forward to coming back & staying at Le Pleasant again!

Amazing host! We stopped at about 5 pm to get a room for the night, she had 2 rooms available, very clean and comfortable bed. 1 min walk to the main street for restaurants. Breakfast at the pleasant Cafe was very tasty, great coffee. Highly recommend.

We have started to make Sutton our annual go to in the winter. The hotel was perfectly situated and in walking distance to everything. The breakfast was incredible and the staff, 5 star. So helpful, friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this location to everyone.

Wonderful comfortable quiet room. Caring helpful staff. Wood fireplace with armchairs for when you partake in the delicious cocktails made on site. The breakfast choices are original and fabulous. The coffee is amazing. I want to return as soon as possible

We just spent two nights here on a cycling tour and this was our favorite place we stayed. Our room on the top floor was kind of small, but the service here was great. Very kind staff and the food was delicious and had dairy-free options for myself. The coffee was also great.

Nice hotel near bars, restaurants, and outdoor activities. Delicious breakfast.

Wow!!! We definitely recommend this place!! Everything from check in to check out was perfect. Room was super clean and up to date with today standards and the brunch was awesome. The staff was very nice with us during the whole stay and always listening to our needs. Moreover, the location is right in the center of everything with many great restaurants in the surrounding. We could not ask for more 👌 PS : we recommend the Balnea spa package for the full experience!!

The adventure starting with a call to make reservations Sabrina took the time to describe the rooms to ensure I knew what I was getting in arrival, Sabrina checked is in and discussed places to eat as well as offering advice on the areas attractions.

The accommodations were very comfortable and a photograph of my room and bathroom are attached. We opted to take advantage of the offered breakfast. The food was very good and the service pleasantly provided.

Le Pleasant Hotel is easy to find and conveniently located about a block off the main street of Sutton. If I return to the area, I will definitely plan to stay at Le Pleasant Hotel and Cafe.

My partner and I went to brunch at Le Pleasant yesterday for the first time since the new owners, and we were blown away! The food was so delicious, and the owners so kind... we are so happy to have this little gem back open to the public on weekends!

I had brunch here only once. The place is quiet but the food was nice and the service great. I had a sweet crepe with fruits and I really enjoyed it. They were patient and understanding that I was alone with a baby and even though they didn't have a change pad they offered me a closed room to change and feed my baby. Would want to try their dinner next time I'm in Sutton.

The brunches are always great! And the menu changes every week (which is not something you find everywhere). The brunch menu includes a lemonade, an appetizer and an entree. I greatly recommend the place, be sure to reserve a table.

This was a great place for our family to stay while we were in Sutton overnight. Lovely rooms, good food at the restaurant and the staff were very sweet. So sweet were they that they totally went above and beyond when my 3 year old Grandson forgot his best stuffed friend 'Penguin' on a seat in the restaurant. We discovered his loss about a third of the way back to Ottawa....the staff made a point of going right over to the post office to be sure he went out in that day's mail so he wouldn't have to wait too long for him. The resulting huge smile that they put on a little boy's face when he arrived in the mail today was priceless!

When we checked in the young woman at the desk invited us to reserve a table for an early evening jazz performance on the outdoor patio. Delightful trio - piano, trumpeter (who also sang harmony with a terrific falsetto) and a chanteuse who delivered standards and scat with joy.

The hotel is a cleanly contemporary renovation of an historic property. The shower fixture was new to me and a model for the way fixtures should have been designed 50 years ago. Lefthand knob controls water volume while the right lever mixes temperature with instant hot - rather than the seemingly endless wait of too many systems.

The charm of old world building and very well located. Enjoyed a beautiful corner unit with excellent amenities. Always woke up well rested after a quiet nice sleep. Looking forward to our next visit!

They have an excellent chef that creates different menus every week. Food is fresh, light & refined.
Impeccable service in French & English.

Perfect stay with amazing hosts! Everything about Le Pleasant is done just right - it is situated right in the heart of Sutton so you can walk to the main street and browse the shops or eat to much chocolate. Close to0 for hiking up Mount Sutton or heading to Balnea which is definitely worth going to. The rooms are sophisticated, modern and still have the character of the historic house. The breakfasts are amazing and we ended up having dinner there both nights even though we were only supposed to have eaten there one of the nights. And they happen to make a perfect martini which doesn't hurt either.
No other place to stay in Sutton or surrounding area that rivals this for the price or the standard of quality.

This hotel is in the heart of Sutton, the employees inside are very welcoming and kind, the hotel/rooms are very clean, we were very satisfied Le Pleasant being our choice of stay, would visit again😄

We stayed in the suite. The window "beds" were very comfortable for women or children, but might be too small for a man. The breakfasts were awesome!! The pain perdu, or special French toast was particularly good!

Excellent small, cozy and modern hotel in the heart of the village of Sutton. Very friendly owners. Delicious food at the restaurant.
