My experience with Roto-Rooter in Ruckersville was excellent at each step along the way. The lady who handled the appointment was courteous and very helpful right from the start. When the appointment was scheduled, the plumber was on time and did a great job. He was professional and he further explained details about the job, what was needed and how it would be addressed. I'm very happy with them and certainly call them again.

Our service experience was extraordinary. After having a water heater blow out over the weekend, Jeff, one of the Roto-Rooter service men, came out on a Saturday before the Super Bowl and arranged for a Monday installation! Jeff and his colleague Robert were here early Monday and had us with hot water by noon! We had used Roto-Rooter in the past for backed-up systems here in Charlottesville, but we hadn't realized before our emergency call that the company services plumbing problems more generally. We received prompt, professional service at a very reasonable price. These plumbers can't be beat.

We had an issue with our septic system. We didn't know who to call. So a friend of mine recommended Roto-Rooter. Said he needed a plumber and they were very good. So we called them. From the start, they were so helpful and understanding. They had someone out to our house the very next day. They were very professional and very respectful. It's really nice to work with a company that truely cares about their customers. If you are looking for a great plumber in Charlottesville, then Roto-rooter is the right choice. My wife wanted a new kitchen faucet but I was not interested in installing it.
I immediately thought of Jeff the plumber @ Roto Rooter. We previously used Jeff to install a garbage disposal and he did a fantastic job.
I called Roto Rooter and asked if Jeff was available to come to our home in Charlottesville. They scheduled an appointment with Jeff.
He arrived promptly on the day of the appointment and was very professional and friendly. He started to work right away and finished the installation without any problem. He checked several times to make sure that nothing was leaking and cleaned up after himself.
Again, I was very impressed and thanked him for his professionalism and promptness.

I have been using Roto Rooter in Ruckersville for all my plumbing needs in Charlottesville. They are consistently good, especially Jeff who is an excellent plumber. Like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, he is late at times; it would help me plan the rest of my day if they could update me with a correct time so I can plan my day accordingly. However, once he arrives, he is friendly, smart, and very knowledgeable. I recommend them.

Jeff, a plumber from Roto-Rooter in Ruckersville, did an excellent job servicing my septic system pump. My septic system alarm was on and the pump was not working. Jeff took time to explain his troubleshooting steps and was very polite. He determined that my pump was fine and a broken wire running from my house to the pump was the problem. I was very pleased with his service.

Last year, I had my septic tank pumped by Roto-Rooter, and the plumber did an excellent job at that time, too.

My technicians could not have been more professional and accommodating. I experienced multiple problems due to the recent winter storm and an extended power outage, including needing a new water heater. I live in a remote area and the road was still impassable. They came, undaunted, across fields to get to me. Hail the Roto-Rooter truck! It's coming! It turned out the previous water heater and filter had both been improperly installed. They re-did it all, with a smile. They also helped me with my refrigerator drain pain which is not plumbing, but they could see I really needed their help. These guys are great! They went above and beyond the call of duty and are just good people, as well as extremely competent.

Great service! I called a local repair company for our kitchen sink backup, they couldn't come out until the following week. Called Roto-Rooter in Ruckersville, and could have gotten same day service, but chose next day. Arrived within time specified and even called ahead. Robert Hawey gave us an estimate, comparable price, we accepted and he started working right away. Very pleasant friendly guy, explained the blockage in the stack pipe. Cleaned up the work areas. Treated with enzymes and explained how to do follow up treatments. We knew Roto-Rooter would have the equipment to reach the blockage, which was over 40' from the sink. I will use Roto-Rooter in Ruckersville, VA for any further plumbing issues. Highly recommend their services!

We had been experiencing slow drains and then things started to back up. We called Carter's Septic Tank Service to have our tank pumped. The driver was extremely helpful and very professional. This didn't resolve the problem so he recommended Roto Rooter. The employee who showed up (Robert) was extremely helpful and determined to fix the problem. He snaked the line multiple times until he cleared the blockage. All of this took place about 7:15pm and he didn't leave our house until after 10pm. He was a total professional and made sure to clean after himself and even answered my numerous questions with a smile. I would recommend Roto Rooter to anyone having drainage difficulty. We had an issue with our kitchen sink backed up to the wall, We tried cleaning the sink out through the pipes below the sink to no avail. We called rotorooter they are very nice on the phone and returned to us a call when the tech was on his way. They sent us Buzz. he was a very nice man easy going and willing to work on our sink as long as it took and he did not give up too easily, He also put in a new basket on top of the sink, he was good steady worker also kind and pleasant to talk to Thank you Buzz for getting our kitchen sink open and flowing again!

We just moved back to Charlottesville and purchased our first home. The former owners recommended Jeff from Roto-Rooter for plumbing issues. I called this morning for a backed up sink and it was fixed by the end of the day! Roto-Rooter (and Jeff) were both great about keeping us posted on when he'd be arriving and how much it would cost. I was really impressed that they were able to come the same day for a non-emergency, and even more impressed with their positive attitude so late in the day. I called Roto Rooter because the drains in my basement had backed up during a recent heavy rain. My service technician, Charlie, was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He patiently explained to me the various scenarios that might have led to the problem, as well as what each scenario entailed in terms of repair. He told me to try something first that I could do myself, rather than necessarily have to spend a great deal of money, and to call him back if I still had issues. Thanks Charlie!

Between the "earth shakes" and highly alkaline water we have had several leaking lines in our plumbing.Today Robert (#47) came and fixed the problem with a hot water line and leaking faucet. He was very efficient and friendly (even with my very curious 3 year old). I have had excellent experiences with Roto-Rooter, they are fair and professional. The staff in the office was very helpful with all the questions I had since I was a new homeowner. The price quoted was very affordable Zed, the Roto-Rooter employee was prompt, friendly, helpful and very professional. Our system was pumped and the ground nicely restored where Zed dug out the hole for the opening. My wife and I were very pleased with Roto-Rooter Plumbing. They came out to Charlottesville on a Sunday afternoon after we discovered water leaking from our water heater. They replaced the water heater that same day and got us in contact with a water mitigation company to come out later that night. The technician was friendly, helpful, efficient, and prompt.
