Maybelle's on Main

I will give this small, local town market and restaurant a 9/10. The young lady at the register was very welcoming and even said hi with a smile when my party walked in. She even came around the counter to give us specific details on the different wine and other items on their shelves for sale. The sandwich that I tried was called the “Dyke BLT” I believe and it was one of the best toasted sandwiches I have ever had. I would give it a 9/10. I also had a caramel mocha blended drink that was a 8/10. I encourage anyone in the area to stop here for a short lunch or even just to rest for a few.

Great sandwiches, staff, and vibe. All the food is very good, but I really like the Club on sourdough bread. The ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality. The chairs and tables are comfortable and plentiful. The staff is always friendly and helpful, even when they are busy. I no longer live in the area, but I will go out of my way to visit and eat there. They even offer outdoor seating too and now sell local wine. Maybelles on Main is a winner. (Try the home made cookies.)

I just had a fantastic mocha with a gluten free blueberry muffin.
The service was great, the atmosphere was cozy, peaceful and quaint.

Clean, interior design is fresh, food is good and the service is friendly! I’ll be back to try their ice cream soon. Got the Caprese with Turkey added on and it did not disappoint!!

This place has been a great addition to the town. High quality in everything they sell, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Very reasonable prices for the amount and quality of the food. One can also find a great selection of beef in their freezer section.

Went in on a sleepy Thursday morning. Lovely service, great selections, and can get lunch for breakfast if you want! Had the Dyke Club and it was delicious bang for the buck.

What an awesome spot! We are neighbors to Maybelle’s Market but love having Maybelle’s on Main for all our yummy coffee needs.

It’s so great having a family run cafe in town, that not only serves amazing coffee that both my husband and I enjoy (a rarity here) but they have created such a cool, relaxing hang out spot as well.

Heard great things about this place when coming to town for a getaway, and just had to try it! I am SO glad that we did! Our infant tried the quiche and ate the ENTIRE piece!! We have been here twice already and can’t wait to come back for more! Delicious coffee, amazing food at decent prices and super kind service! So many cute things to look at/buy! We plan to go back AGAIN while we’re in town! SO good!!! Highly recommend!

Very cozy atmosphere inside, located at the center of Stanardsville. Great coffee and food with a wonderful staff. I came in very hungry for a late lunch and got a sandwich which exceeded my expectations. I will be back next time I am in the area.

When here visiting Stanardsville, Maybelle’s on Main is my favorite place. The sandwiches, coffee and staff are the best. We love the friendly and cozy atmosphere. I will never go back to Starbucks. The only negative is that there is no Maybelle’s in Miami.

I haven’t tried any of the sandwiches yet…. But I will say that the cookies at the front of the counter are the best I’ve ever had in my life. The cake batter and Oreo chocolate chip are delicious!!!! The prices aren’t bad either in comparison to other cafes.

Coffee was great, we stopped in for caffeine and a potty stop for the kids. We love the look of the place and I wish I had more time to spend!

My son and I came to Stanardsville for a mini vacation and visited Maybelle's twice. Everything about it was perfection. The food was fresh and the coffee put starbucks to shame. The atmosphere was delightful. It was so fun to sit outside on the fenced in patio, watching locals stop in just to update friends on their lives. This shop is what you read about in cozy books. They have a real gem here.

10/10 place. Highly recommend it. The art is beautiful too

Coffee was nice, tea selection was not as strong, the hot cinnamon bun was amazing!

Great atmosphere and The staff was super friendly and suggested sites to visit during our stay in town.

I was delighted to finally try this cozy cafe and coffee shop while visiting family who live there. I felt so welcomed by the staff and the locals who were dining while I was there - the best conversations are held over good coffee! The portions are very generous, the baked goods taste like they’re straight from grandmas kitchen, and you can tell the ingredients are quality and fresh. I love seeing the partnerships with local people and organizations, and the community puzzle & games are my favorite new addition, along with locally sourced products. Keep up the great atmosphere, phenomenal food, outstanding customer service and commitment to community!
