I took Meggy’s beginner class and it was way better than I imagined. She takes care of everything. Makes you feel very comfortable. I love how she meticulously picks up around everyone who’s working. She’s very calm and educational and I felt like I really learned something. The parking garage is safe and super close. I went on a Saturday and didn’t feel like I was totally mobbed with people. It was easy in and out. I wouldn’t hesitate to take any of the classes offered at Colorado Glass Works.

My boyfriend and I attended the date night class and had a wonderful time! Meggy and everyone involved did a great job walking us through the steps and whenever we had questions they were quick to help explain things or help us with our project. This class sparked a new interest for us and we definitely hope to attend more in the future!

I’m so glad I came across this wonderful local small business! I’ve never done anything remotely close to this but the owner and her staff were wonderful and helped us and the whole class at every step. It’s great that you get to bring home your own glass work creation and it was a perfect date night activity. Location is perfect, once we finished we grabbed some food and drinks as you’re in downtown Boulder. 10/10 experience!

Colorado Glass Works Studio has the BEST customer service! I placed an order for 3 pieces of glass, then another 3 pieces of glass, then a third order with some supplies— their Black Friday deals were too good to resist! Two of the glass sheets I ordered were not in stock by the time I placed my order. Meggy reached out with pictures of other glass sheets I could choose from to replace the ones I purchased that were no longer available. She was great work with and I will absolutely be buying from this business again. Cheers!

I took the Frost and Flux class today, and snagged some ornaments for Christmas gifts as well! I emailed to get on the waitlist for the class, and got lucky to get an open slot. Meggy was so responsive, and the class itself was great! If you’re a crafty-minded person, definitely sign up for a class. They give great instruction, and as I learned, it’s a forgiving craft you can pick up quite quickly and make perfect with the help of the instructors. Thank you for offering this class!

Meggy and Sarah were the absolute dream team! We took the Mother’s Day class and my mom could not stop telling everyone about how much fun she had making the art piece. We can’t wait to take another class!

Colorado Glass Works is a must see! It’s more than just the best stained glass store in the Denver/Boulder area. Yes, there is stunning, hard to find glass for artists but you will also find the friendliest, warmest people on Pearl Street. Half the time I go in for the conversation as much as for the stellar glass and supply selection.

Haven’t started your journey as a stained glass artist yet? No problem. Meggy, the owner, teaches all levels of stained glass for those that aren’t yet versed in flux and solder. I personally have taken the one day beginner class, the pattern drawing class, the pressed flowers class, a lead and hobby came framing class, and a Morton system panel class. Every single class was amazing! She is patient, kind, and genuinely interested in helping every student in the class grow as an artist. Every class has a fun atmosphere that’s inviting and you will feel confident in your new skills and the step-by-step instruction.

Just want to try stained glass for fun? The shop offers date nights, mosaics, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day classes and more. Taking home a beautiful pierce of art is so uplifting.

Colorado Glassworks is soooo cute! I traveled all the way from California to visit. The glass selection is impeccable and fair priced. There was many beautiful finished pieces for purchase. There's also plenty of tools and products that I didn't know I needed. I took a lesson with Meggy, and although I'm still a beginner her Patreon videos helped me feel prepared and knowledgeable. The inside of the studio is cozy and welcoming. There's so much to look at and so much to learn. There's a variety of classes and I'll be back for all of them over time. I recommend this studio to anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of stained glass or wants to begin. Or just to enjoy the beauty and the Art that is Colorado Glassworks. :)

My husband and I took a date night class for Valentine’s Day and had such a great time! Our instructor Kayla was so sweet and helpful, as was the owner Meggy who helped out throughout the class! We both learned a lot & were impressed with what we were able to create (especially as first-timers!) in relatively short period of time. Definitely planning to come back again to take another class with some girlfriends! Totally worth a try - no previous knowledge or skill required.

This is a must see stop if you are visiting the Denver area!The owner Meggy has a beautiful shop here where she sells stained glass art, gorgeous glass sheets and supplies as well as teaches a variety of stained glass related classes. I drove from San Diego to take a class here and had an amazing time. I took a leased panel stained glass class and learned new techniques to bring home to improve my own work. Meggy is very sweet and patient with everyone and I consistently felt guided. Anyone can learn stained glass with Meggy as their instructor. I can’t wait to come back! Had a great time at the Earth Day class this year! All instructors gave clear instructions, and I walked away with a beautiful finished piece, and greater understanding of techniques used.
10/10 would recommend and would go again! Great rainy day activity!

The class was so much fun! We took one of the 1.5 hour classes and loved making the stained glass art. We learned to foil and solder and got to take home the pieces!

i traveled from florida to boulder to take one of the 4 Hour Stained Glass Classes offered here and had the most amazing time. I brought my mom along as it was a gift and we learned so much! Meggy is such a wonderfully thorough and patient
teacher who guided us along in creating a custom glass piece to take home with us!

As a Stained Glass Artist myself i regularly find myself purchasing sheet glass from in person shopping or online! i have so many little 6x6 sheets of glass and somehow end up needing just a little more to finish a project, the first thing i do is send a picture of it to the studio and sure enough they always seem to have a larger slice available and get it ready and shipped out to me quickly!

i genuinely cannot recommend this shop enough! everyone working here is so friendly, knowledgable, and helpful and is always the first place i turn to when i need anything!

This was something I really wanted to do, but all of the date nights were filled up. I got on the wait-list and at 5pm on the day after Christmas I was told I had a spot if I wanted it! I was so excited and was able to get all my information and pay over the phone. My boyfriend and I had such a fun time! The owner Meggy and her employee (forgot her name) were so helpful and gave tips and tricks and feedback the whole time. I'll almost definitely be back!

We had a great time at our class! It was such a unique experience and Meggy and all the helpers were wonderful! I loved having a finished piece to take home right away. I can’t wait to take another class!

Signed up my wife and I because I wanted to take the class. My wife only slightly dragged her feet on the way in, until she met Sarah and Meggy and then I had to drag her out the door at the end. We had so much fun, and enjoyed meeting the other pairs. Came home with a beautiful thing to hang to remind us of a great date night. Would highly recommend and both of us ready to sign up for the next class.
