El Paso Mexican Grill

I ate here two nights in a row now If that says anything. The portions are very generous. The staff especially the bartender/might be the owner I'm not sure is very friendly and enjoys having a conversation. Food comes from the kitchen very quickly. The only thing the place is missing is people. I'm surprised this place doesn't stay packed. And bartender / might be the owner dude You're pretty cool man keep up the good work.

Gonna sound crazy but this is my favorite place to get a chicken Caesar salad. It's so good and I don't know why but it really is. I ordered it trying to eat light one day when we stop for drinks and now I stop here just to order a salad... And you might as well have a margarita while you're there! 😜

Wait staff are professional and friendly welcoming and greeting everyone. The menu consists of a wide variety of Mexican cuisine cooked fresh and served steaming hot. Homemade is what makes this Mexican restaurant stand out among the rest. You can choose to dine inside or outside. The decor is vibrant and beautiful and the place is extremely clean and comfortable. There is also a bar that offers a variety of awesome mixed drinks and huge mugs of beer. There is something for every member of the family to enjoy. The prices are affordable and each dish is well worth it's price. My waitress was absolutely perfect, on time with everything, and she did not forget anything. This is the perfect place for a whole family to enjoy dinner, a couple to enjoy dinner and drinks at the bar, a fast lunch break with a coworker. Beer, margaritta and daquiris are the specialty alcoholic drinks made and served ice cold to.hit the spot in the hot humid summertime in Louisiana. Enjoy listening to authentic Mexican music while dining. You can enjoy late dinner here until 10 pm. Guaranteed you will be back for more of this cozy place in the middle of Hammond Louisiana. The Pina Colada Daquiris are slammin' made with real everything and colder than Iceland. It's served in a huge goblet and is absolutely delicious and served right on time to your table or the bar by the bartender ( mixologist) himself.

I love coming here because it feels at home to me. Service is excellent and friendly stuff. Food is great and Margaritas is the best in town.

Very good food. Great rapport between customers and staff. First time I've been here and I'd go back for either take out or dine in. Friendly, quick service. Food was ready for take out as quickly as I would expect a good meal to be prepared. Atmosphere was nice. I would eat there for a business lunch or a casual date. Not fancy but very nice.

We had our dog with us, and they went out of their way to accommodate us. The staff here are the friendliest, most patient, pleasant folks I've met anywhere in a long time. The food is delicious, we got steak and enchiladas and the servings were huge, I saved some for lunch the following day and it was still great! Definitely recommend them and will be returning next time I'm in town.

El Paso never disappoints and our service is always impeccable with Gladys or Manilla. The margaritas could be more frozen but the food and service are the best!

My wife and I tried it for the first time last night the service was excellent, I ask mole sauce in the waiter brought it out to me for a sample fantastic, my wife order a banana chimichanga,it was the best dessert ever. The restaurant was very clean,we will be returning thanks so much for a great experience. Oh the margaritas was fantastic.

I love El Paso!!! I love the manager (Napo). He has a lot of jokes, makes me laugh. My waiter (Joseph) he’s the best. Nicely dressed. Very handsome (Even got his number). He made sure I was settled, well token care of. I would definitely come back to see the manager and him! GO TO EL PASO!!!

Great food, great wait, staff. Everyone is friendly. It's definitely one of the best in an area with way to many Mexican restaurants.

This is our all time favorite Mexican Restaurant! Always fast and friendly service, fresh and hot food, and such a chill and festive atmosphere. Every time we have eaten there(at least 7 times), the manager has come out and greeted us and asked us on how our meal was. All of their food is authentic, from their beans, to their beef, and even their melt in your mouth cheese dip! Will always be loyal to this place because they are always great to us!

We came here Sunday and we had the greatest experience! Our food was great hot and tasted really fresh! The queso and guacamole is the best I have ever had! Our server was Kristen and she was amazing never ran out of drinks and came to check on us multiple times! We will definitely be back!

OMG, MY FAVORITE PLACE TO DINE! Their entrees are offered a la carte or with beans and rice, for a way better price. The bar has A frozen margarita machine and about 10 flavors to choose from. The service is always great and the never get anything wrong. Oh, and they have bean dip in addition to salsa placed on the table to chew on before your meal arrives. You must try this one.

Excellent service, wonderful live music and great food! The tamales reminded me of how my Mexican Abullita prepared hers. We didn't eat ours with sauce, so I requested foe no sauce to be on my plate. My request was not only honored, but the cook added additional meat to my plate!
Definitely a must eat there place. This trip makes it our fifth time since discovering it.

The employees & the owner treat's you like family. Excellent service & the food I love it so much. I've been to other El Paso' s in Louisiana, none compares to the one in Hammond. God bless this business. They have a spirit of excellence over them.
