Much appreciation to the owner of this BP gas station. While paying for my cappuccino, I shared with him I was on my way home from a tiring trip to Athens Greece. He wouldn't let me pay for my drink! Nice gestures make the world a better place. Restrooms were in great shape I also can share.

There's something about a gas station that has a lot of open driving area that just puts me at ease. This one doubles as a spot for trucks to fill up with diesel, so there's no shortage of space. The price is usually pretty consistent with the area instead of being jacked up like you'd expect right next to the expressway.

Pretty much all the gas stations off the highway are higher. You can use your BP Rewards or the Mariano's to get money off per gallon. They got decent parking in case you got to get an 18-wheeler in there. There's also a pull off on the off-ramp on the left hand side as you're exiting Interstate 55

Stopped off of 55 to fill up and take a bathroom break and the washroom was unisex and smelled so bad of urine and there was urine all over the floor and my shoes were sticking to the floor. My husband wanted a candy treat and I wouldn't purchase a thing from this place. If you can choose another gas station you should!

Got gas here on a visit from Chicago and I should've gone elsewhere. Gas was at least 10 cents more here than the BP two exits south. At the time of this writing, gas is 20 CENTS MORE than the Other BP. Additionally, I paid at the pump with my credit card, went in to buy a pop and they wouldn't let me pay for it with a credit card because they have a minimum of $3 (or something like that)... after I just spent $30+ on gas!!! So I left without my drink. Wasn't about to spend a single penny more at their business. I would understand if I came in, used their restroom, and then tried to buy just a pop and a candy bar, but after spending 10 times the amount of their minimum credit card purchase, I would think they would be reasonable about it. Will never patronize this BP again and I sincerely hope it fails due to their poor customer service business policies.

Came here to get quick snacks while on the road and my sister in law bought the white castle burgers and we were out driving when she noticed there was MOLD ON IT! We came back and checked the other ones and like 4-5 more of them were the same. That is a major health hazard, and they need to have health inspectors come in and check.

Where do I start? Oh Google you need to make a option for 0 stars!! Ok so I typically don't do this but this one NEEDED to be posted! Ok I've lived in the Shorewood/Joliet area for about 16 years this is my least visited station in will county. Why? Well since this location is about 1000ft from the highway so the price per gallon is typically .10cents more a gallon, and it's a pain in the rear to make a left turn out of. if you have a modified lowered car steer clear of this place the parking lot is a disaster! So here's my story, last night about 130am I ran out of gas for the second time in my 10 years of driving just so happened I made it to the Jolie/Shorewood exit I walked from the off ramp to this bp went to the restroom to warm my hands with the hand dryer and to use the restroom. When exiting the restroom I was starred down the tennette who was cleaning up the lobby. Me being the talkative person I am I explained my stupid mishap to him and how my friend was on his way with a gas can for me his only response was rude he's like I'm about to close to clean the lobby I panicked and started walking towards the door to call my friend as I was walking to the door my friend was walking up to the door I replied think god it's him! He said oh that's him I said yes. So because I my friend was doing me a favor I figured hey I'll do him a solid and clean the garbage out of the car, so I scooted the garbage can closer to the car and began removing trash. All of the sudden the tennette runs outside and started screaming at us at the top of his lungs "what are you doing you can't do that why don't you do at home?!" I'm like well sir I'm a paying customer I can't remove my trash?! "No you can't do that here and you move the garbage cans what's wrong with you?!" Sir I intend to put them back where I found them. I told him don't worry go back inside and do your cleaning and have a nice night. So this jerk proceeds to stare me down like I was committing a crime or something. So when I was done i put the cans back while he was still starring us down mainly me so I smiled and waved. Then he ran back outside and started using profanities at me and threatening me he was going to call the police. I told him go for it I did not do anything wrong. Needless to say I was appualed with this whole ordeal I will never patronize this location ever again matter a fact i plan I sharing my story with everyone I can to boycott this place how rude and unprofessional!
