Stoneside Blinds & Shades

Sam just installed Stoneside Blinds and Shades new dual daylight/darkening shades in my bedroom, and they are absolutely awesome! The fabric is beautiful, and the innovative technology of the transition from daylight to darkening is incredibly smooth and truly amazing! It has been a true pleasure working with both Tiffni and Sam. Both of them are highly professional and pleasantly personable. I’m absolutely thrilled with my new blinds from Stoneside!

This was quite an ordeal and it took a long time to get right, but I’m very pleased with the final product. Thanks to Sam the installer, who went above and beyond to make sure the curtains and roller shades were exactly what I envisioned. The roller shades were installed first and I loved everything about them. They make a huge difference on the amount of heat that comes in through the large south facing window. Then came the curtains “round 1”…the first go around was disappointing to say the least, there was dark stitching and ivory fabric and the seams where the two panels of fabric were connected was pointing out so you saw it when the curtain was open and when it was closed. I was very disappointed and I think Sam was equally upset. He took a ton of pictures and sent them to his office and let them know I was extremely displeased. A day or two later I received a call from their office about the pictures and was asked to send pictures of my own pointing out the issue. Then the designer, Tiffni, called me and we had a nice conversation about quilting and expectation when purchasing a custom product with this ticket price. She discussed the matter with their manufacturer and they made all new curtains for me. The curtains arrived “round 2” in much better shape and no dark stitching. Sam was back to install and he was quick, quite and did a great job. I would recommend and use this company again, not because I can’t find this product or similar product somewhere else, but because the issue was addressed and handled promptly, professionally and with grace.

Sam from Stoneside Shades and Blinds has been a great help, going above and beyond with helping us repair one of the motors that went out on one of automatic shades (completely my fault, when I went to temporarily remove the shades for another project…). Sam was very communicative of when parts came in and scheduling a time to come back, replaced the motor pretty quickly, and just a good guy to chat to. Happy to deal with a good company, both people and product wise.

My daughter and her husband live in Highland Park, and recently purchased living room blinds from Stoneside. They provided a very prompt and efficient job in installing the blinds quickly, and they look beautiful. We are so happy with the results and wish to thank Tiffni and Ryan for their excellent customer service!

Stoneside Blinds Chicago—technician Sam visited twice—was prompt. Identified the issue correctly the first time and came back w the needed replacement part and fixed it. He was nice and friendly.

I had one shade that didn't connect to WiFi and would, therefore, not work properly. Ryan changed the motor on the shade and, in about a half hour, had the motor installed, the shade connected to WiFi and remote, and made sure that all the other shades (8 more) were working properly. Ryan is the best!!!

Sam was great to work with! He was so quick with the installation and very knowledgeable on the product.

I've used them twice now and cannot recommend them enough. The quality of their product and the professionalism of their service is outstanding. In the past I've used Windy City blinds and Three Day blinds. Stoneside simply puts them to shame. My designer both times was Elizabeth-- she's a gem.

We just recently had new blind's put up in our office. The experience was wonderful, our sales rep., Elizabeth was professional, helpful and patient. We are very pleased with our new blinds and highly recommend calling Elizabeth Gatto for any and all your window covering needs...
