I can’t express enough how I appreciate the guys at the shop in Laplata, MD. I dropped my car off Friday morning, it was assessed and completed by Saturday morning. They give me straight up advice and I never feel like I’m being lied to or up charged on services because my lack of knowledge in auto repair.

I’ve been coming to this shop for years and I don’t think it’s been one time I’ve ever felt like I didn’t get the best service.

I won’t be going to any other auto service place for any other reason moving forward! (Especially TirePlus). Thank you guys for all the work you guys do.

Super satisfied. I took my car in for brakes and discovered I not only needed rotors as well. While they were checking the car they found part of my molding under the carriage was loose. They made all repairs and I had my car back that evening. I was able to hit the road for my Vacation.

Excellent customer service one of the best place to take your vehicle for service, they do a marvelous job. I promise you won't be disappointed, they finds out what's wrong with it and fix the problem 💯 not just fix it but do it the right way. Also a friendly environment they are the BEST 👌

I have high praise for the work done on my car by Phil and his staff - very honest and fair in their pricing. Customer care is exceptional and the team is focus on getting the job done right the first time. I highly recommend Phil and have taken all of my cars there for service without any problems. Good to have a neighborhood mechanic who knows their craft.

This was my first experience with Meineke in La Plata and I must admit that I am more than pleased with their service! Phil was upfront with explaining my muffler issues and pricing. He is very knowledgeable and honest. I highly recommend this place!

i needed to get my AC fixed in my 2007 Honda Pilot. Once they finished the walk around on my vehicle. Then I was informed, that my AC Cooler and my compressor needed to be replaced due to low coolant and AC Compressor as well as the radiator.

Then I was advised that the leak under the radiator/AC compressor was serious and required replacements. They I was told that due to that, I needed to get the factory maintenance requirements, this included replacing the cabin air filter, the serpentine belt, the timing belt also needed replacement.

They also recommended doing everything since they had to remove many of the items under hood anyway. This exchange helped me to relate to this logic. I too was an engineer in the US Navy. This understanding helped to relate the what, why, how and when to get this work

Next I was told the “high dollar” estimate explained all the known issues and symptoms. This repair took a little more than two days. Then as they took everything apart, they also needed. to check the entire AC system and found the following items, AC coolers

It was easy to schedule an appointment for an oil change. Once there, I was in & out in no time. The staff was professional and friendly. There was even a coupon for my oil change! I will definitely be back!

Meineke in Laplata is the best! I purchased 2 front tires from another local tire center who sent me on my way with two rear tires ready to blow - but told me everything looked good! I went to Meineke to get the front end aligned (because the other centers alignment machine was down) and thats when we discovered the dangerous condition of the rear tires. Meineke replaced the rear tires, installed shocks and aligned the front end. However, while driving I was feeling a constant vibration under the car- took it back to Meineke- the manager test drove it and discovered the 2 front tires(purchased from Southern
Tire in LaPlata) had been balanced incorrectly- Meineke fixed the issue for a very minimal amount and gained a new customer- HUGE thanks to the crew at Meineke in LaPlata for restoring my smooth ride and mitigating the safety risks with the rear tires!!! Definitely recommend them!

Late writing this review. Back in 2021 I had experienced a coolant leak that I couldn’t diagnose myself. Called found out that one of the techs was a VW guy already felt confident that they would take care of my car. Dropped it off super friendly staff. Called me back to tell me I had actually fixed the issue myself before bringing the car in.

However they still took apart components of my turbo charger cleaned and dried my engine of remaining coolant. Charged me absolutely nothing I was honestly in awe. Great place great people the ratings are a true reflection of your service. Thank you!

I love this place phill is the greatest person and mechanic i have ever met he found a problem with my car the dealer ship couldn’t find he fixed my car and i will always come to him from hear on out

Phil courteously accommodated my Friday late-afternoon walk-in, scheduled me for assessment/replacement brake pads the following morning. Fair price, quality work.

I had sparkplugs replaced. I was pleased with the service and it was less than what Mr. Tire quoted me. I would recommend Meineke in La Plata, Maryland.

I needed my car winterized and I didn't have time to go to my regular mechanic in PG County, close to DC. I took a chance with my beloved 2008 Volvo XC90 and took her to the Meineke Car Care Center near my house. I was more than pleased with the customer care and with the work done. James was very courteous and kind. They took care of my car in the time they said they would and I've had no problems since. James even noticed how well maintained my vehicle is. I owe that to my regular mechanic, Cesar Cabrera. I will definitely use their service again.
