1875 Winery & Restaurant

Tucked away in the serene countryside near Randolph, Ohio, 1875 Winery is a delightful discovery that left a lasting impression on us. Although it was our first visit, we were thrilled to find this gem, especially since a local friend, who lives nearby, wasn't even aware of its existence. He was excited to learn about this wonderful spot and immediately thought it would be perfect for a romantic date night with his wife.

Our visit last Friday was nothing short of fantastic. I had the pleasure of meeting John and Mike, a friendly visitor from Oklahoma, who were equally impressed by the experience. Mike described the winery as an "amazing place," highlighting the cozy outdoor fireplaces that added a charming touch to the evening. The staff at 1875 Winery were exceptional, providing attentive and warm service that enhanced our overall experience.

The food at 1875 Winery was another highlight. From start to finish, every dish we tried was delectable, perfectly complementing the impressive selection of wines. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and enjoy a fantastic evening with great food and drinks, 1875 Winery is a must-visit. It’s a true hidden treasure that deserves a spot on your list of places to explore.

Absolutely gorgeous property and scenery. The wine and food were delicious too. Our server was very friendly and informative. We will definitely make many more trips out here.

We went on a Saturday. Servers are all friendly. Always coming to check on us. We ordered zucchini sticks, the bourbon bbq brisket, and spicy pizza. Very good! We also had the down and dirty wine, as well as the Dollie. Both are sweet and very good. Patio is very pretty and a nice atmosphere to sip wine on a pretty day. Highly recommend.

Incredible service from Allison! The beer cheese had a nice flavor & the pretzel was soft albeit massive to cheese ratio. I love dry wine but the Boss was my favorite. Can’t wait to come back

Had a great experience here! My wife and I went here for her birthday. We had wine flights the and the chicken Alfredo
pizza. Wines were very sweet. We bought a bottle of their rose. Our server Grace was very friendly and attentive! We will definitely come back to get some entrees!

Great food and scenery. Love the original building and all the additions. Staff is friendly and service was excellent.

We enjoyed a nice flight of wine and we picked one of those to enjoy a bottle. We had a great selection of appetizers and we chose the charcuterie tray. Delicious food. Our server, Tori, did an excellent job taking care of us! The service was so quick and done with the most beautiful smile!

This restaurant is great for celebrations. It’s not tooooooooooooo expensive, and the food is great. The outdoor seating is also super cute. I got the peach & goat cheese salad, it was AMAZING.

They also have events here sometimes which is fun :) honestly I think it would be a great place for a wedding because it has wonderful scenery and space!

Loved the atmosphere and food was delicious. We were there on a Saturday. Arrived early in order to get a table. Were disappointed to find very limited seating for six on patio. Sat in the gazebo but would like to see more tables for six on the patio.

This is such a unique and very wonderful relaxing experience! We were luckily chosen to sit in the Crow's Nest as an experience for our dinner. It was a cold night, but it was enclosed with heater. We had an amazing beautiful experience at sunset. If you're looking for a dry wine experience, this is not your place. Ohio grapes are naturally sweeter. They offer flights of 5 with your choice of wines for $14. Once you find the one you like, I recommend to just buying the bottle. They can seal it prior to you leaving if you don't finish it. They even have specialty unique mixed drinks and also frozen wine slushie options. The food was outstanding and cooked perfectly. We ordered the pot roast and salmon which came with salad and a side. For dessert we tried the caramelized apple cheesecake (pictured) and cherry pie cake which was amazing. And we can't forget to mention the service.....We had the most friendly bartenders and wait staff. For as busy as they were, everyone was in excellent spirits, light-hearted, friendly, and even funny.

Had a fantastic time here. The building and grounds are beautiful. The food and wines are delicious. The staff were very friendly. They have inside and outside seating. We sat outside for lunch and definitely will be going back.

1875 redeemed themselves this evening..the food was excellent. The wine was thoroughly enjoyable so much so we bought 2 bottles to take home. Our waitress, Allison, was absolutely the best and made our dining experience perfect. We will be back

The winery is gorgeous! The food was great the wine slushy yummmmm if you like bourbon try the bulleit it was great. The staff was great and friendly and on top of the service. Will defiantly be back!

Dined with mom and sister we got fruit appetizer 2 pizzas and a pork sammy...all were absolutely delish. Our server Chloe was very good. Wine slushies delish. This is our 2nd visit and definitely won't be our last !

Absolutely one of the best wineries in our area!
The owners talked to us while we sat and ate their delicious pizzas and drank their fine wines.
Reservations are recommended and there's lots of outside seating along with inside seating.

I was impressed from the moment I got out of the car! It was my first time eating here, and the food and drinks were amazing. The staff was super friendly, especially our waitress Grace, who was extremely helpful with the menu. I eat out a lot, and I have to say it was probably one of the best experiences my wife and I have ever had eating out. We will be back!!

If I could give it a 6 I would! If you live in or near Portage County and haven’t eaten here you need to! Food, service, and atmosphere are tremendous. The attention to detail is unbelievable. Grace our server was awesome!

Great place for dinner and drinks with friends. Would highly recommend trying this place out and sampling a few of their wines. Will definitely be coming back this summer to see all of the out doors activities they have.

Amazing food and atmosphere. The only complaint I have is if u get a glass of wine it’s literally like 1/4 full, equivalent to a wine tasting and that’s 9 bucks. If we would of know we would of got the bottle. Other than that amazing food and ambiance.
