Busy Corner Restaurant In Pekin

I got the breakfast haystack with a coffee and it was absolutely dynamite. Honestly, the coffee tastes great and the food was awesome. The server was quick and accurate with my order, not to mention very friendly. I'm definitely gonna become a regular.

The Signature Sandwhich is without a doubt the best burger I've ever had. This was certainly the best meal I've had in a good while and can't wait to try more options.

Very pleasant, hospitable restaurant with all day breakfast and nice lunch options. All 5 adults were happy with their selections so much so they decided to come back the next day during a two day soccer tournament. We got there around 1 pm and everything was still available and well made. Pekin is lucky to have this place.

The John Wayne omelette now has specialty choices for vegan options amazing

Friendly staff, fast service and steaming hot food. Can't wait til next time I go here. Not to mention wallet friendly prices. I had a small horseshoe which they put chili on never had a horseshoe this way, but it was delicious and my sister n law had the chicken fried steak sandwich, which she liked a lot

#1 Breakfast ever. Staff is unbeatable. Very down to earth, kind, and on top of everything. Your coffee cup don't stand a chance of being empty. Always my favorite! In the photo. Hot Hamburger. It's insane good!

Clean restroom, fair prices, nice staff, good food. If you need to stop by on a road trip nice small town restaurant! John Wayne meal was delicious.

Great greasy-spoon for breakfast. They're the only place that stays open Monday, too, which is a bonus in my book!

First time ate here. The food was amazing. I has John Wayne skillet. Freshly made and delicious. I took left overs home and ate at least 2 more meals outta it. I got the all meat John Wayne skillet and best I ever had.
Place was so clean and new and had about 20 tables.
Price was unbelievably reasonable with skillet and toast for under $10.

This is a great spot! The food is really good and more than reasonably priced. There are so many things on the menu to try and all come with great reviews. The staff is what got me though. In a world where no one wants to work, they were so friendly! We came in shortly before closing without realizing. We offered to take out food to go and they told us absolutely not! They told us to take our time and not worry about it because they would be there for a little bit anyway. They continued to check on us and we even had one girl stop to make sure that her cleaning wasn't bothering us. This was after closing! We were pleasantly surprised and felt that they went above and beyond what we could ever expect. I highly recommend this small little diner. Great food and friendly staff!

I just love this place. I grew up in Pekin. All of my relatives still live there. Had a wonderful breakfast with my dear aunt and uncle Mulvey.
I no longer live in Pekin but love coming there.

It was a busy Sunday morning eating here, but the servers accommodated 5 of us and a baby. The food and service were very good!! My adult kids eat there often.

Love this place! I meet my Dad here every Friday morning at 0615. Shannon has our regular table set and as soon as she sees us walk in she puts our order in! My wife and I like to come in on an occasional Sunday morning, her only complaint, "bring the 'Ricks Chop' special back on Sundays!'

A family place. Excellent food what ever you order and the good morning special is awesome. Hot buttered pancakes, choice of meat and how you want your eggs. My family and I have been going there for years and it is still our favorite breakfast spot. They have daily special each day so you can't do better then this.

Grew up in Pekin but Busy Corner wasn't our spot. How wrong we were, its now our only breakfast place. The food here is spectacular, the location and parking super convenient, and the staff are just the sweetest. I see Shannon working so hard in the mornings, she's just the nicest lady.
