Daufuskie Trail Rides

This was an amazing experience for my daughter and I! The staff are not only knowledgable and patient, but they have truly taken the time to “learn and love their horses”. Their instructions are clear even for a novice rider like myself. I felt safe and at ease the entire time because Stella (our trail guide) was. I recommend this experience to anyone who visits Hilton Head Island. It’s a quick ferry ride over and totally worth the experience! I even posted a picture here of my sunglasses which I had forgotten inside and the staff was kind enough to take them out to the gate for me to pick up 🤣 oh and another accommodation was the weather looked like it may turn bad in the afternoon and again they were kind and arranged for an earlier time for us since it was our only day to make it to the island. We made it through the ride with no rain 👏🏻 This was a whole experience from start to finish.

So much fun. I thought we would get to go on the beach but we were too early in the season. Maybe next time. Victor and I became fast friends. I could have spent more time without the less experienced riders maybe riding just a bit faster :)

Our ride here was part of a larger excursion to the island. It was our first time here and we can see why everyone that visits never seems to leave. As far as the stables and ride, everything was great. The staff were warm and helpful when we arrived. The property was very nice and the horses looked very well taken care of. We didn't feel rushed and our guide was patient and professional. The ride itself was a very relaxing way to spend the afternoon and the view of the beach was wonderful. It was quite the experience to watch dolphins playing from the back of a horse. And our guide Alexa was perfect at her job. Friendly, knowledgeable, cheery and just a nice person. 10 out of 10, would do again.

I would highly recommend! From booking our trip to the actual day of, the entire process was smooth. It was an incredible experience that we will always remember. We had a couple of nervous people in our group and the trainers were so wonderful and patient with them. The horses were lovely and views were incredible! We had several dolphins pop up to see us along the ride as well. 10/10 recommend! Great customer service & overall amazing experience - worth every penny!

This was an awesome tour. We definitely enjoyed it. Our horses were so well trained and very obedient. I got Max, a very tall and gentle giant. If anyone wants to have a beautiful walk next to the beach and enjoy a horse back ride, this is definitely the place. Thank you so much for this experience! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time! The trail guides were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We learned some of the history of the area and they gave us recommendations for what to do on the island. They were helpful for us horseback riding newbies! We highly recommend doing this!

Wonderful experience going for a trail ride with Daufuskie Trail Rides! My mom and I did the experience that included the ride, the ferry, and the shuttle ride, and it was worth it! It's beautiful to ride along the water and the saddles they use are so comfortable. My horse, Pippin, was a joy!

Everything was great!! I had Victor!! I smiled so much through our ride and loved that I was able to show it off. My only issue is the fairy ride in the package. We got on wrong one [public] and maybe the private one would not have enforced but I don't wear a medical device on my face. I kept under my chin but I hated it.

First time the staff and experience was great can't wait to do it again...
