McCullough’s Emerald Golf Links

Played here for the first time yesterday. Course was in great condition. Course is challenging and open but you need to stay in the fairways since the sand traps are deep and the tall grass is ridiculously high. Had dinner at the course restaurant Vagabonds and had a great meal. Shout out to all the staff they were great from the guys at the bag drop to the rangers, cart girl and bartenders. Will definitely be back and thank you for the great service we received.

I was thoroughly impressed with this well maintained beautiful course. Although I didn't golf I really enjoyed riding the cart around the course celebrating my brother on his bachelor trip. All the staff from the cart attendant to the Marshall the cart girl and the restaurant staff were very friendly and professional. You can see they take great care in the maintenance of the course. An added touch were the updated carts with Bluetooth. I will gladly recommend this course the golfers and non golfers.

I really enjoyed this course. It's close to my house so we play it often. It's also priced well. It's mostly wide open so you get some wind which is great during hot summer days. Lots of unique holes and, of course, a great finish on 18 dumping into the vagabond for burgers.

Love this course. Very playable for all skill levels. Burgers and sandwiches are great as well. That was a good surprise to end a fun round with some friends.

Played here today after wanting to for many many months and it did not disappoint in the slightest! The views that you see of the course when on some of the higher elevation holes like 11 are incredible. The conditions were impeccable, and the staff was very friendly! Big thanks to the marshal today, I wish I got his name, gentleman had a mustache and gave us an incredibly thorough overview of each and every hole, how to play certain shots, and even stopped by and gave us lost balls that he found while roaming the course! The service and dedication that he showed made me think this was a private club. All around fantastic day, thank you for it!

Great golf course. Fast, smooth, beautiful greens. Nice fairways.
Great layout. Great condition. Enough room to play a fade like I do. Plenty of trouble if you spray the ball. Lots of sand traps. Dont have a bad thing to say. I'll play it everytime I'm in the area.

First time playing Emerald Links and it was great. Course was challenging with several tiered greens. Lot of elevation changes and blind shots. Course was in very good condition. A few greens needed some TLC. Highly recommend and will be back to play.

Server was exceptional...wish I remembered her name. Food was delicious....will return

They say there is a little man that plays the bag pipes out on the greens.... I always hear him, but haven't caught him yet.

Didn't get a chance to play the course...I had booked through Golfnow, and it didn't show up at the course. But Jim, in the proshop, helped me get a full refund from golfnow. We did eat in the restaurant, which was excellent. And hope to play the course, if we're ever back in the area.

The restaurant is great, haven’t golfed here but the food it amazing. Highly recommend if you are in the area and want some bar food. Very affordable and the beer is cold.

One of a kind course! Every hole presents a unique challenge, very playable for any level golfer. Gotta check out Vagabonds afterwards for a wonderful atmosphere, with a great tap, food, and friendly service.

Great course, first time playing had a great time. It was cart path only due to rain the day before which was okay until about the 16th home when the ranger came and told us we were causing a delay. When every time we were in the fairway we had to wait for the group ahead to get off the tee.

But other than the rude ranger it was a good time and for $39 great value

Played 18 holes today and absolutely loved the course! It was in great condition and the holes were fun and challenging. The ranger who was working Michael was very friendly and made our experience very enjoyable! We will be back again!

Really nice! I found it to be very challenging and engaging. Really fun elevation differences, fairly rare for NJ. Definitely recommended.

Quirky, fun course where each hole pays homage to an English links course. Very cool to see these holes on TV recreated. A must visit for a fun round and a memorable one too!

Surprised how dry the course was. The fairways and greens were great. Except players weren't repairing the fairway or green divots. I know it happens on all courses, but still enjoyed my round. The chef that is there is good. The food was flavorful and cooked right. So I am looking forward to returning for golf and food. The staff was great. The servers to the ranger, bar tender and management.

What a great course! Would take this course over Twisted Dune down the street any day. Each hole has is own unique personality, very memorable (TD's holes all looked the same...boring) HUGE elevation changes (pics don't do it justice) and when you're up top, the wind is like you're on the Scottish coast. Round time for 18 was 4:15. Ranger and starters were cordial and informative. Staff cleaned all our clubs after the round. Some blind shots, but that is was makes it fun and strategic. Great yardage markings on fairway posts and sprinkler heads. Greens were great and rolled true (some had some dry spots and repair, but didn't affect my putt lines). Tee boxes were in great shape. One of my favorite courses of all time! So different than anything else around and even more so for South Jersey. Great clubhouse. $45/RD
