B'zzz Cakes

Our family has been supporting B'zzz cakes since before there was a storefront and can say that their cakes and cupcakes are super high quality! The cake flavors are out of this world, just the right amount of frosting, and their special event cakes for us have been wonderful.

The owner is very detail oriented and she met with us and did a cake tasting prior to our baby shower order to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted.

When I ordered my husband's Game of Thrones cake she took all of my pictures and recommendations into consideration and made a show stopper for us!

For my daughter's 1st birthday, she made a beautiful simple and delicious sprinkle cake for us that we added our own letters to the day-of. (My mom brain forgot to ask her to put it on there, but she would have!)

Delivery is always on time and done with care. Thank you for being a part of so many special events for our family!

B’zzz cakes did an amazing job on the cake and cupcakes for my son’s fire truck themed birthday party. The cake and cupcakes looked exactly like the design photos I sent and somehow tasted even better! Everyone at the party commented on how delicious and cute they were. Communicating with the bakery was easy, professional and timely. I highly recommend B’zzz cakes and will be a returning customer!

My daughter's birthday was the reason for the most recent visit. The cupcakes are all in-house made and fresh from that day. The price is a bit scary, but I am not a baker, so this might be the going rate for a dozen and I'm unfamiliar with the costs involved in making baked goods. The icing on each of the cupcakes were very generous and the fillings were tasty. I'm not a huge fan of the icing, but the decorations on them are well done. They offer oversized, normal sized, and mini cupcakes along with vegan options. Very colorful and well made designs.

They have a huge selection of cupcakes and a decent amount of cakes available for purchase. The staff were friendly and professional. The cupcakes are delicious! I ordered the 6 cupcakes for around $22 (coconut cream was amazing). You definitely need to let them sit out to come up to room temperature before eating. This will definitely be my go-to for yummy cupcakes. Highly recommend!

B'zzz Cakes was so wonderful to work with on the cake for my daughter's 13th birthday. They did a beautiful job on the design, the cake was absolutely delicious, and I will be ordering again in the future. They advised how they would interpret the design to meet the end goal, while also maintaining integrity and avoiding copying another bakery's work. That level of integrity is commendable, given that creative burnout happens sometimes and it would be really easy to just copy a design entirely to save their creative energy - but they invested the creative energy into making it their own version. Communication was great, <24 hour turnaround on email responses which I think is more than reasonable given that they are a busy bakery.

I got these cupcakes for a co-workers birthday and they were delicious! They were perfect with the design and everything was edible. The picture was just so cool to see on a cupcake. The icing wasn’t heavy or super gritty like some are. The icing was airy and flavorful.

They were great to work with! From the first email about a quote, to our design request, and my daughter deciding she wanted to change the filling of the cake, they have been quick to reply and friendly through the whole process. We gave them two pictures of cakes my kids picked out, and gave them creative freedom to mesh them together. It came out absolutely perfect, everyone at the party loved how it came out. We had vanilla cake and chocolate with the chocolate Bavarian cream, and it was AMAZING! Will definitely be back for all our cake needs!

Amazing service, pricing and cupcakes are out of this world delicious. I’m originally from nyc and I must say these cupcakes are the best I’ve ever had. And there cakes are not only beautiful on the outside with attention to detail as well as delicious on the inside. Cakes are moist and frosting is not heavy or overly sweet. My daughter loved her 21st bday cake and so did everyone. Also ordered a cake for husbands’s nephew son’s 1st bday. Cake was a hit!! I highly recommend bzzz cakes. Customer for life.

B’zzz Cakes has been one of my BEST finds since our move to CLT. For the past two years they have created works of art that not only looked amazing but tasted amazing as well. I am constantly impressed with their ability to take a concept in my mind and bring it into reality. I look forward to working with them for many more celebrations! Thank you B’zzz Cakes!

I’ve been following Bzzz on social media for a while. We finally made it out there today. Absolutely delicious 😋 We picked out a dozen different cupcakes and each one was fabulous. We’ll definitely be back!

Thank you so much for making this amazing cake for our sons birthday! The detail work on this cake is amazing, the white chocolate waves were a huge hit and the red velvet cake was beyond deliscious! In 2022 I went looking for a good cupcake shop near me… well I found it. Two years later I’m still a regular customer. I go to college this year and I will miss them so much. Bzzz cakes have the very best cupcakes and cakes, I have even done a specialty cupcake/cake with them and it turned out lovely. I get cupcakes every 2-3 months, everyone I meet working there is lovely and happy to see you. I highly recommend

Tried for the first time recently. Cupcakes were soft, light and moist. Frosting was silky smooth and airy. Wasn't a huge fan of whatever the frosting was on Pineapple Upside-down was and the frosting on Chocolate Chip Cookie cupcake was a little sweet. However I will definitely try more flavors! Carrot cake was amazing as was Coconut Creme and Reese's. Shared photos with some friends and that same day they drove to Bzzz for the first time and purchased cupcakes. Keep up the good work Bzzz!!

They never back down from a challenge I’ve not been disappointed yet! They are worth every single penny you spend.

Best cakes and cupcakes ever! The icing is delicious and not over sweet or thick and their protein balls are amazing and can't forget the buckeyes.

I have ordered several custom cakes along with stopping by the shop for a delicious cupcake. Love having a bakery so close to home I can trust with making amazing cakes for our special events. Booking process is simple and after a few emails I know I am in good hands and don't need to worry. Can't wait for our next cake!!

Best cupcakes ever! We have enjoyed them for two days. Yes we bought enough to have them the next day and they were as good as the fist day. So so yummy

B’zzz Cakes did an amazing job on our Book cake for our Hocus Pocus 2 party! The amount of detail was impeccable. I was so happy with our cake and will definitely be back for more treats in the future.

Much cake home and were asking where it came from. My only con is that it is really far from us. :( hopefully they open another shop! Will be getting my next birthday cake from them in May!
