Public House National Harbor

We came to National Harbor on a Friday back in December just to wonder around and ended up eating here as everywhere else was full, and it was wonderful.

it’s a very causal but pleasant environment. They have a QR code for you to scan and open your own tab and close whenever you’re finished, which I enjoyed greatly as we were not rushed to finish and our order was not messed up. The food came quickly and we were brought water as well. The manager walked around to each table at one point to ask everyone how everything was going, which I appreciated. They had a very nice variety of music, different pop and rap artists, and they had many different programs on the televisions especially sports.

I found it to be a delightful experience despite what the other bad reviews are saying. I greatly enjoyed not being bothered every 5 minutes like other places that are trying to flip the tables and rush you out. If you need something, there are always people walking by. We had to ask for another set of silverware, and we did not have a problem getting service for that.
This place is definitely unique in how they operate compared to a traditional restaurant which is why I think some people don’t like it because they want that service, but I greatly appreciate and enjoy it because of how it is run differently and will definitely be back.

Kudos to Public House National Harbor!!

1st time here, and we had a lovely lunch. I had a cheese quesadilla, which was delicious. The salsa and guacamole were very good.🤤 my husband had a hamburger and fries, and he enjoyed. We just grabbed a quick meal before heading to the African American museum.

Great bar and restaurant, fun place to go alone or with a group and the kitchen is open later than restaurants in the area & they have a great menu. I had a burger & it was delicious!

We stopped in for a late dinner after an event in the harbor and had a great time. Our food came quickly and our server was extremely kind. My fiance loved his burger and I got an extremely tasty salad. Make sure to look over your check - we noticed this restaurant adds a complimentary 15% which hopefully goes straight to the servers!

Stopped in for Brunch and well a drink too! Flew in for a retirement ceremony so we decided to enjoy ourselves. I had a couple tequila sunrises and my hubby had a Long Island plus we ordered sandwiches. Our server was very attentive, welcoming, and friendly. We sat outside since it was a beautiful day and enjoyed the music they played. It was really nice and relaxing and noticeably quiet. Most likely bc everyone else were probably still working. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Stopped in for dinner, it was nice, relaxing, and the food was delicious. We were seated right away, the staff was great, and our food came right out. Our waitress checked on us throughout our meal. I highly recomend!

I had brunch and it was great. Service was excellent. Portions were just right for my starving self. I don't mind the 15% gratuity. It saved me the agony of the calculations I do at the end.

Spent a week in National Harbor for a work conference coming from Massachusetts and loved coming here for a drink and light meal when the days were done. Service was quick and friendly, good pricing, and the drinks were excellent. If only I lived nearby!

Nice crowd and good food. I love the chicken cobb salad and steak n cheese egg rolls. This is always my go to spot. Gotta sit at the bar. A DJ is there late on the weekends.

Stopped in for lunch with some coworkers. It wasn’t crowded so the service was pretty quick. I ordered the turkey burger with fries. Everything was good

Watched Women's College Softball finals there. Staff very helpful and friendly! Got us a TV with what we wanted. Great snack/bar food.

Dashawn our server was great. My husband had our anniversary brunch there. The Harbor and it was great.

Don't forget to add the creamy grits add cheese if you like. During the day, family vibe. At night, it's a Hotspot for the young adults. Trust you will enjoy either wY.

Definitely the best burger in town. Amazing flavor and cooked to my request. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly.

Great restaurant and even better service. We celebrated my dad's 93rd birthday, and the server was amazing! She was very attentive and engaging. We brought a special cake with us, and she even bought out a lighter for the candles. I would definitely go here again!

Great environment. Great music. Great food. Toni, our waitress, was amazing. Very patient for our table of 7. Would highly recommend.

I was drawn back to Public House, yes drawn back. What drew me back was the Buffalo Cauliflower. I was there back in August and had the best experience even though I didn't eat much. Our server was great and the cauliflower was perfect. This time the cauliflower was not so perfect. It was too soft and too much sauce. It was still tasty but not as perfect as the last time. As everyone has stated, the food came out hot and fast. Steven the manager was great. He greeted us less than five minutes after we were seated and made sure our server had arrived and taken care of us with the initial order of drinks. The service needs work. Although Amber was good, she could've been more attentive. Yes the 15% is on the check but the staff should be striving for 20% instead of accepting their minimum of 15. I still would rate this restaurant five stars despite the service because I have yet to be disappointed by the food.

The food here was pretty good. I definitely recommend coming here if you are visiting the National Harbor. I had the jambalaya and it was pretty good. The shrimps we're big. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spot to go. Definitely a lot to choose from in this area.

I had the market salad with fried chicken. Very good! I recommend it. I also recommend their brunch. I had the garden omelette and chicken and waffles.
