Casa Calamari

This is the second trip to Myrtle Beach and we have gone here both times. Food is excellent! Appetizers are plentiful and delicious. The meals are big and very tasty Have had lobster and Maryland Crab ravioli Gnocchi as well as their pizza which was very good. Great Italian cuisine for reasonable cost. Bruschetta and Cala.ari were delicious as well

Amazing. We drove by this place 20 times in the last month during our stay in Myrtle Beach. It looked small. We are from Connecticut and Italian food in CT is great. I’m Italian so I am usually very critical. All I have to say is don’t drive by. Wonderful service and great food. Antipasto, pasta fagoli, veal sorrentino, calamari red sauce linguine with house bread they served that was so wonderful soaked in olive oil garlic and seasoning. Yum yum yum. I would give a 10. Sorry forgot the pics but check out the size of the calamari.

Ordered takeout and couldn’t be more pleased with our meal! The young lady who took my phone order was delightful. Food was hot when we picked it up and I appreciated the salads being in a separate bag from the hot food. We had the calamari appetizer. Delicious! I had the eggplant rollatini (probably the best I’ve ever had). My husband had the lobster ravioli and said it was very good. We will definitively be back!! 5 stars!

Pastas just not what I expected. Needed more seasoning and noodles needed to be added to second dish. Too much sauce not enough of anything else.

Desert had tasty layers.

Amazing Italian meal!! The house baked bread to the entrees were all absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!!

First time and will be coming back!!! Took the wife and our four and two year old. Great kids menu and the food was amazing. My son likes to look over at the people at next booth and these booths were tall enough he could not do that. The bread at the table was amazing and the drinks along with food were so great!!!! A value in the atmosphere and food compared to the chain places!!! Our server Carla was amazing and we can’t wait to come back and ask for her!!!!

We actually have a couple other local go-to Italian restaurants in the area, but decided to try this place as it's fairly close to our house. Very good! The OssoBucco special was phenomenal and the complimentary garlic bread was the best I've had in a long time! Highly recommended!

Everything we ordered was delicious!!! From the calamari to the stuffed mushrooms to our main dishes! Also, the 2 pizzas we ordered were dynamite! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for good Italian food!

Food is always delicious. Draft, bottles, and house made sangria are available. The staff is attentive and courteous. They know the menu and can offer suggestions for the Chef’s specials (which are usually awesome selections). Cozy small building decorated like a small Italian kitchen. Parking in the front or back of the building. Plus they have a pizza oven that smells amazing and tastes good too if you don’t have time to come in and sit down to enjoy a meals. I hesitate to let people know about this little gem but would recommend this place.

The food was AMAZING! They have great gluten (corn free) free pasta and zucchini noodles. Love the food and service was great! Highly recommend eating here.

Award winning, locally owned restaurant offering an authentic taste of Italian Cuisine. Being lovers of all things pizza, got us picking up the Pesto Grilled Chicken pie and finding yet another favorite. Thick, chewier made from scratch crust with a lighter zesty Pesto sauce, topped with chunky grilled chicken, strips of sun dried tomatoes, artichokes and mozzarella cheese. Prices do fall more in line with sit down establishments, then delivery chains. But I feel you are paying more for quality, not quantity. Didn’t have the full dining experience but thoroughly enjoyed my takeout. Will have to come again.

We stumbled upon this place when we were looking for somewhere to eat without a wait. We found this place. I have never eaten such good Italian food. The food was so good. The mozzarella cheese is absolutely amazing! The meat lovers pizza is so good, you can tell this is real Italian food. We will definelty be coming back!

Although you won’t find Italians cooking in the kitchen, the food is delicious! I love their marinara sauce and garlic bread! We’ve tried several dishes there -although I don’t prefer having my linguini soaking in all the butter/white wine sauces, my husband does so that he can soak it up with the bread. It’s a restaurant off on its own and they have pizza take out on the one side and indoor dining on the other. Bartender makes an awesome dirty vodka martini served in a chilled martini glass.

Clean and accommodating! Excellent authentic Italian food and great pizza. Our server, Karla was absolutely lovely and attentive. Will eat here on every future trip to Myrtle Beach.

This place became our favorite after the first time we went last fall. The people, the food, everything is fantastic. Came out to Myrtle Beach for a long weekend recently & Casa Calamari was a "must do". They did not disappoint. Their mozzarella sticks, calamari & pizza are our favorites. While it's challenging to find good canolli in the south.... We've found it here. If you're in the area....Definitely check this place out. Sending love to their incredible wait staff. You're amazing.

I have ordered from here twice and can say this is absolutely a hidden gem! I will be visiting soon. The food is so good! The lemon chicken piccata is my favorite of any I’ve had around this area!

Casa Calamari is a cozy Italian restaurant, a hidden gem in Surfside Beach, on business 17. The picture is of my meal the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend, salmon picatta, it was scrumptious! I have been there twice now and I find it to be a relaxing place, excellent staff, and delicious well prepared food. They also have an great pizza menu; this is casual dining at its finest. I highly recommend you give Casa Calamari a try I'm glad I did!

If you want authentic Italian food this is your place. The pizza, bolognese sauce, meatballs, and antipasto salad was heavenly and I couldn’t believe how much food I got. I have read reviews where they said the portions are small for the money and that’s is simply not true. You definitely get allot of food for the money you spend and even better the food is delicious!!!
