10/10 recommend! This place was so clean, organized, and cat friendly! :) the owner was super nice and energetic! The vibes in this place were amazing. I will make this a stop every time I’m in Myrtle Beach!

The bookshop is amazing. The owners are so sweet and easily approachable if you need help. The bookshop cats Caramel and Midnight are adorable and friendly. I would definitely recommend for people on a book hunt!

One of the best new/used bookstores I have been to - so thankful to have found this gem! We live out of town but will surely make it a stop every time we visit. Left with a box of books and could have stay much longer (but we weren’t able to get there until 30 minutes before closing). Highly recommend! 🥳

Really nice smaller local bookstore with a couple of pretty cool cats and a friendly and helpful man at the checkout counter. Good selection of novels and other books at very fair prices.

A very charming independent bookstore with plenty of options across all genres. Good sports section. Roaming cats are a nice plus!

The staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

The store was very well organized, reasonably priced, and has a great selection.

One important thing to note: if you have an allergy or an aversion to cats - there are some cats roaming the store.

I am allergic to cats, BUT, they don't force themselves on you and it didn't detract from my experience.

This will be a stop on all my visits to Myrtle Beach!

My bookish bestie and I went on a spree this morning at Back Again Bookshop, and throughly enjoyed ourselves on a rainy vacation morning! The shop owners were super kind, and we loved the friendly kitten helpers who followed us around the store! Such a wide selection of genres with some great finds we were excited to add to our collection. We will definitely be back for another visit soon!

Great shop with a good selection of pre-loved books and also a good selection of new books. Plus, there’s cute cats and the owner is very friendly!

Went to Back Again Bookstore on a rainy afternoon of vacation because it has two things my daughter and I love - cats and books - and it didn’t disappoint! We got some good scritches with the kitties and I found an anthology of C. S. Lewis books for a fraction of what it was if new. A very enjoyable experience!

Absolutely loved this bookstore! Found so many books that I enjoy reading. Very clean and organized, and books were in great condition. Loved the singing done by the owner, thought at first it was coming from the radio. Beautiful!! Such a happy place. I was visiting from out of state, but if I lived here, I would be there all the time. Prices were awesome! Can’t forget about the cats strolling around. Just a nice atmosphere! I will be back on my next trip to S.C. Please don’t go anywhere.

I would give 100 stars if I could! Found this amazing gem by chance!!!! If there is nothing my son and I love more than books, it’s cats! My son gave Midnight some loving which was returned with the sweetest purrs. And the wonderfully pleasant woman working ( the owner I believe) made the experience 100% more memorable. Friendly staff, friendly cats, amazing, affordable selection of books. Walked away with a decent selection at a very Definitely a nice break from the normal hustle and bustle of Myrtle. We will absolutely be back!

Not only was the shop so cute and the owner was so kind and knowledgeable, she had two beautiful kitties too!! The black one was my favorite, letting me pet her with no problem and purring but the orange one played fetch! Will definitely be coming back everytime me and my husband come back to the beach. Such a great little gem we stumbled across on our way home from Myrtle Beach!
This was one of the most organized bookstores I've visited. The books were all very neatly situated so that you could easily find whatever you are looking for. I loved the rooms separating genres, and the tall open bookshelves in the main area. The store and even the restrooms are spotlessly clean. They have a great program where you received a discount off your purchase if you bring in a gently used book.
A big bonus to the relaxing atmosphere were the sweet cats meandering about!
Please stop in and support this shop, as fellow book lovers we desperately need to keep these small book shops opened and thriving!
