This McDonald’s restored and instilled in me a new and rejuvenated love for McNumpkins.
I had the pleasure of receiving a $25 gift certificate to the restaurant from a sympathetic friend earlier this month.
You see, I tragically lost my job earlier this year and have not been able to find sustainable full time work. I haven’t had take out in a hot minute.
Best gift ever.
Best friend ever.
Best McDonalds location ever.
Can’t wait to turn 30 in June and celebrate with some fries and The Best Diet Coke I have ever had.
Only Real Ones work at this McDonalds, anyone who says the service is bad has issues or can’t read a room. The employees at this McDonalds work tirelessly and they are also extremely cute.

I never thought I’d write a review for McDonalds but I had to:
I have lived in Allston for 2 years now and I used to DREAD going into this McDonalds. It took so long to get food, the workers ignored the customers, and the food was so stale and tasted terrible.

The last couple times I went, I got fast service, the workers were kind, and the food was hot and delicious (and quick).

Whatever you guys are doing differently: it’s working! Thank you for the great work! I’m genuinely impressed

This is a great mcdonalds. Saw a guy go on this weird racist tirade once late at night -- once he got physically violent, they threw him out on the street and not 5 seconds later they went straight back to slinging burgers. The level of professionalism was unmatched.

Oh man this one is genuinely good. The food felt fresh (even for McDonald's lol) and the people were nice. I'd make this my go to McDonald's.

I always come to this location to get my morning Mocha Frappé drink,
Place is always clean,
Staff are friendly,
The gentleman who does floor and table cleaning is hardworking and always has a smile on his face every time I go.. a gift not given to everyone.
I don't order anything else from McDonald's in General but I really find this location different than other McDonald's I've been to before

They were absolutely slammed with delivery orders at 11pm and they handled it so well , we got our order placed at the counter in minutes

Best damn Mc Donald’s, few loose cannons might end singing or dancing along your way but not life threatening.

Atmosphere? A messy drunken brawl at night, but just like most McD it’s clean and fast and polite

Super nice McDonald's located in a awesome place. The inside is super clean and it doesn't take long to order food is always fast and tasty. Cant go wrong with McDonald's.

All mcdonals should be like this one so spacious always happy get a nice coffe or moca for under $2 muffing and a lot of breakfast options.

Get fresh meals and snacks faster than you imagine. If you follow Mc Donald’s promotion, you get food free and with less prices

Honestly, delicious. It's been well-over a year since my last Big Mac Extra Value meal.
First and foremost, the BigMac is just as good as it's always been; as the jingle goes two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese(bright orange "American" processed-cheese - always, no exceptions) pickles(of the dill variety, diced), onions(simple white onion, chopped and uncooked) on a sesame seed bun(still the same). Of course, many swear that McDonald's has perfected art of French fries. And for my money, I couldn't agree more. When I lived in LA for a hot minute I used to treat myself to a Double-Double from In N Out Burger(which trounces McDonald's when it comes to burgers, sorry Ronald McDonald) and then make a separate trip to McDonald's for their non pareil French Fries (while the burgers at In N Out are heavenly, the fries are that much more disappointing when you're enjoying a sublime burger experience).
Long and short, my enthusiasm may be a little undeserved considering McDonald's is still McDonald's, though since I hadn't had it in SO long I think I'd likely reassess some of my praise if I went there more often. But McDonald's didn't become the preeminent king of Fast Food by serving lousy food, lackluster food and service. And while I'm sure if one eats there enough one is likely to find an underwhelming experience pretty quickly, I really did have a great experience, and even though the prices have gone up a noticable amount since my last Mickey D's venture, my Big Mac and fries were even more delicious than I remember.

One the best McDonald's in Boston, clean not noisy, fast service....the redesign inside an out a few years ago still holding up well. Can't beat the fact it's located right by major green line and bus lines, parking can be an effort but thats Allston for you.

Look, I know what you're thinking: "A 5-star review for McDonalds? What, did they dip the burger in gold? Suddenly start serving healthy food?"
Nope. It's simpler. The staff at the Allston McDonalds did their job.
I used to work security in Allston, usually until a little after midnight. Most nights, I was too lazy to cook dinner, so whatever fast food place was open got my ten or so dollars.
Often, clubs were letting out around when I'd leave. McDonalds was usually packed with drunk twenty-somethings and stoned teens hoping to satisfy their cravings. This is also prime Uber Eats hours, so the joint tends to be flooded. This -should- mean wait times get crazy.
I've never waited more than ten minutes for my food there.
Hats off to the staff of the Allston McDonalds; I hope $15/hour comes soon. You guys deserve it.

I love it here but the place needs lot cleaning nice food nice atmosphere ......UPDATE FAST SERVICE BUT DIRTY TABLES DIRTY FLOORS EVERYWHERE LIKE WOW......
