Great Ropa and sides. Flan was very good as well. Table as well as counter service. Some great Cuban food.

I've been coming here since I was in my mother's Belly. So officially for 36 years. Jose the owner and the employees are amazing. The food is priced perfectly and tastes amazing. My daughters have been coming here also since before they were born. Thank you all for the best service and food. This is family to my family. La Gran Via is the best restaurant in Union City , I promise! The adult beverages are also priced and made right. You can't go wrong, thank me later! This is a real family owned, loved and operated establishment. Thank you Jose for making me feel special all the time and never forgetting to personally come over to the table to greet my family and I. I appreciate you all!

I had a grilled salad with a side order of sweet and salty plantains. Everything was delicious.

This place is AMAZING! I went there to eat with my bf and we were very pleased! We were given a table right away; the attention was incredible, and the food was just amazing! The place was very clean, very good atmosphere to eat. I would recommend it to anyone who wants good, tasty food for a very cheap price.

Authentic Cuban cuisine at reasonable prices. I've been going to La Gran Via for many years and was introduce to this venue by close friends that live in the area. Many locals frequent the place and that says a lot.

This by far my favorite Mofongo of all time. When ever I come to NJ eating here is a must. Their home style Caribbean cooking takes be back to my younger days in grandma's kitchen. They make an awesome churrasco and my grandchildren love their baked chicken from the kids menu.

New owners same food, I have been a client since they started many years ago. Mr. Luis Ranzola and his son Victor made La Gran Via the place to have the authentic blend of the Spanish and Cuban cuisines all in one. I really miss the good all of days where a group of friends met every night to duscuss topics from sports to technology

La Gran Via is a terrific place to fulfill your desire for authentic Cuban food. The ambiance is simple and functional, but that isn't why you come here -- the excellent and delicious dishes are the stars of the show. The menu is is extensive with all the regular favorites as well as some items that may be unfamiliar. The ropa vieja is amongst the best I''ve had. The camarones al ajillo are tasty and garlicky. All the appetizers and sides are excellent
