Casa Azul Taquería

I visited Casa Azul based on a recommendation from my friend who came from Texas. She mentioned that there are many great Mexican restaurants in Texas, and Casa Azul matches their quality in Rhode Island. After trying it, I understand why she said that.

The atmosphere at Casa Azul is fun and exotic, making me feel like I was in Mexico. The food was authentic and delicious. I had tacos, grilled shrimp, and chicken with rice and beans, and nachos with guacamole. Everything was fantastic.

I've been there twice and even tried their churros and flan, which were delightful. Everyone I've taken there has been very satisfied and happy with their experience.

The food was wonderful, tasty. It came out quick and hot. The spanish rice was fluffy and spicy. Thr service was friendly and made you feel comfortable. Absolutely love the atmosphere. The wall mural is beautifully done and each time you look at it you find something new. Definitely get a tamarin margarita.

I was running errands with my wife and we came upon this cozy Mexican joint. Mexican paintings and decor all around. The food and drinks were on point. We had nachos , birria tacos, tacos al pastor y michelada y margaritas

Ok this is what we doing. Tacos with style. Your decision premium or classic. They definitely know what there doing. I had the pineapple margarita spicy of course !! It was delicious and definitely kept its promise of being spicy.

Great place, food is amazing, we had tacos con de carne asada, chorizo, special 3 birria tacos con consomé and it was delicious. The place is really cute I really like the way that is decorated and very comfortable and colorful. The girl that took our order was really nice I give this place a 5 ⭐.

We had the Birria nachos and tacos(our first time trying birria EVER) and we devoured it all within minutes, it was so delicious! I can't believe I've been missing out on this my entire life!

Just outstanding in every way. Atmosphere is cozy and also fun,. Decor is fresh and inviting. Service is friendly, our server seemed happy to be here and eager to recommend menu items, which is easy to do bc the food is delicious. Birria with consommé is hands down the best I've ever had. The slow cooked meat was just crazy tender and perfectly seasoned, the consomme flavor so rich. guacamole was super fresh, margaritas lively and adorably decorated. I cannot wait to come back here!!

Delicious! I had the birria nachos which is very creative and delicious. The waitress and workers were all kind, and they had great horchata. I went with 3 other friends, one of which is vegetarian and she loved that she had an entire section of the menu dedicated to vegan dishes. The interior was also cute so I would return :)

Everything was delicious and fresh. Vegan choices are delicious. Great drinks! Nice service. Great atmosphere. Would Def return!

Cute little place with a nice theme. Big windows. They have a counter and a bar but also do table service.
Very reasonable prices. $5 for a great cocktail. (Mango sangria, it’s seasonal though)
I ordered a Chicken Tortilla soup off the October specials menu and it was really good.
Would be a good date spot!
As someone else mentioned; it seems like for the “Food fights” promotion they give you a little less filling in your “free” tacos but if you order additional, for charge, they fill those up more.

This is a cute road stop for a quick bite. My tacos 🌮 were good and were served on a home made soft taco shell which i liked. Their complementary flower chips and duet of souses differentiated this place from other Mexican restaurants i have dined in the past.

We visited this location as part of the Taco Mania! and it’ll definitely become a family regular. Service was great. From the second we walked in the door we felt the warm welcome. Decor is beautiful all the way to the traditional table for Día de Los Muertos. The food was fresh and delicious! 🤤 I wish they had more meat options for the tacos included in this experience but the chicken tacos dorados will definitely have me coming back for others on my own. The churros were soooo good. Prices are very affordable. Saw many people go in for pick up. Highly recommend this little spot.

Been dying to try some berrier tacos for some time now. I'm really picky about new food particularly at new places. After some searching I stumbled here an I'm so glad that I did!

The service was excellent, we were greeted by the owner (wife) out front and she was great. I'm very big on authenticity with flavors so after some conversation an laughs we ordered nachos with ting chicken. I want to say this I tried he tomatoes and it popped with so much flavor my mouth was literally watering. I complimented the nachos and I'm sorry but I forget the owners name and she told me that her mom made these style of nachos and she needed it in the store, I agree and loved the authentic flavors.

The berrier tacos were out of this world and everything I expected it was great, fresh, filling and just flat out delicious. My girl got a Carne Asada burrito and it was gigantic flavors were powerful the meal was delicious I never order desserts but we had to try the churros and Nutella and a few drink specials.

A++++ 6 star mom and pops experience. I believe the other owner (husband) was working in the back. I'm definetly excited to have found this place an I will be back...after all its a block from one of my work sites. I recommend giving this place a try and I think you will enjoy this gem.

The food is always amazing, the atmosphere and the customer service is phenomenal. Birria tacos, too die for. Margaritas always a must. Don’t get me started on the micheladas

Robert our server was great! The restaurant was cute, high quality and offered a great ambience.

We payed $45 for two full entrees, drinks and dessert! The Birria Tacos were 10/10 highly recommend them!

Overall experience excellent and well worth the $ and time.

Fair warning only street parking and a small lot that can hold 3-4 cars on the left. They were not very busy although for a Friday night.

I love their menu. It is rare to have a vegan menu in a Mexican restaurant. The birria tacos and birria quesadillas are great! I am not a big fan of their Sangria it was too sweet and had some spices. I love you can pick the tortilla for your tacos: either standard, blue corn, or hand made. I'll definitely come back

You are greeted as soon as you walk in. And the atmosphere is wonderful. With all of the beautiful decorations and Mexican wall art. Absolutely stunning. And the food.. there is no competition. Absolutely delicious. First time trying and I won’t go anywhere else. DELICIOUS!!!

Stopped by last nite and i was glad i did...the margarita, the birria nacho cheese fries and the pumpkin flan was nothing less than fresh and amazing🤤.. Robert the bartender/server and Alexandra the owner were the best...i cant wait to come back again and try more food and drinks!!!!!! Thank you for a great experience

Such a yummy spot! Accommodated to my dairy allergy wonderfully as they have vegan options! So impressed and will be back! Everyone was so friendly!

I love it so much here , this spot has so much variety, and they have a whole vegan menu. Our waiter was so sweet.
