Wicked cheap beer towers. Nice lowkey spot during the day with good eats!! They have events where they do karaoke and have DJs certain nights of the week. Turkey club was fantastic and the fries were the best kind (crispy on the outside and soft on the inside). Also, the house made ranch?? Fuego

I liked it. You can tell they made a bunch of stuff themselves in house (instead of buying premade)
There are couches in here, which I LOVE. I like when a place has comfortable seating and a bunch of options for seat types. There were tall seats, low ones and couches. Outdoor seating etc.
They had Birria egg rolls as a special and they were really good but not exactly like regular birria but still a great dish. Buffalo chicken tots were like Buffalo chicken salad style which I didn’t realize but it probably said it on the menu and I didn’t read it. Side salad was a good size for me.
I feel like they would do really well on Uber eats.
Spicy Watermelon margarita was good BUT it was like jolly rancher watermelon flavor rather than natural watermelon flavor.
Their lights were STRONG. like being in a pharmacy. Would be nice if they had dimmed lights or more mood lighting in there. Maybe they can dim but they forgot tonight. Would be 5/5 with different lighting.

Whether meeting a colleague to catch up over a quick lunch or being out on a date night, The Local has never failed to disappoint. I have a strong appreciation for small businesses whose owners are passionate about what they do and who are not afraid to roll their sleeves up and make it happen when needed. This establishment checks all of those boxes and then some as the ownership truly cares about their patrons and constantly strives to make sure their guests are comfortable and are always looking for ways to improve their customers’ experience. Would highly recommend for lunch, dinner, or even grabbing a quick app and beverage with a co-worker after a hard day’s work. Love this place, their staff, and the ownership. Top notch! 👍

First time here for lunch from Massachusetts! Amanda took care of us she was outstanding! Such a great personality! Food was delicious as were the drinks! Great find Yay Me! Definitely worth the trip! Atmosphere is chill! And I hit on keno!

Great local (lol) spot in EP! I’ve gone there for dinner, drinks and to watch games and have had always had a great experience.

I was extra impressed though after hosting a professional happy hour there. Coordinating the event was super easy, the communication was great and they were so flexible with everything, so we were able to really make the event what we wanted it to be, without having to fight the usual “this is how we do things and that’s that” you typically run into with venues.

Because we did it open house style, we didn’t have an exact amount of people to plan for, and the staff didn’t miss a beat when it got busier than we anticipated. The service was fast, the staff were super friendly, and the food was still just as great even with the catering sized portions. They were great at anticipating our needs, and were constantly doing things like refilling the food stations without us having to ask. Made it easy for us to enjoy the event instead of just working it.

We had a great time, and got great feedback from the people who attended.

Recommend this place if you’re looking for a casual fun spot to hang out at AND as a great venue spot.

I had an amazing experience at The Local! This cozy local bar offers a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and an exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. There are plenty of high top tables and it is a great place to watch a game. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great time. The added bonus of a cool golf simulator adds a unique touch to the overall experience. Can't wait to visit again!

Love this place. I come in to the Local every Wednesday. The food is amazing and the drinks. I'm never disappointed. I barely walk In the door and the bartenders already have my drink coming. The Local will always be my go to Bar!!!

My sons love The Local. They ask for it by name. The boys love wings or tenders and fries. I don't think I've ordered the same thing twice because I want to try everything. I'm always looking on their social media pages to see what's new. Had the honey butter chicken sandwich just the other day. Beyond the menu the atmosphere is relaxed, while the staff are friendly and attentive. We've caught the game on occasion and seen live music as well. For me The Local is the epitome of a neighborhood spot.

First time coming here and it certainly won’t be the last! This place is awesome for meeting friends in a casual atmosphere for drinks or for coming to watch the game. It’s super nice on the inside and it’s cozy but big enough that it’s not too crowded. The staff is outstanding. They’re so attentive and accommodating and you can tell they are really focused on giving the customer the best experience possible. The food…Wow! We ordered tons of apps and sandwiches and everything was outstanding. The buffalo chicken tenders are enormous and crispy and cooked just right. The ranch is so good! I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and it was so fresh. I am pretty picky about food and this was some of the best I’ve had.

Have been to the Local multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Food and drinks are delicious, service is amazing and entertainment a plus! Do yourself a favor and check out The Local

The Birria fries were so good they need to make it on the menu permanently also sliders are bomb with their special sauce

Everything about The Local is truly awesome! Great atmosphere, top notch service & excellent food (vegan burger is absolutely delish!). I’m personally not a major sports fan, but for anyone looking to catch a game (or dozens at a time), this is definitely your spot to go. The Local also brings in great Live entertainment in the forms of musicians, DJ, karaoke, etc which is always a great time, too. Check it out if you haven’t already and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

First time there, food was amazing, atmosphere was great. We could actually hear the NFL game, like most bars you can't hear the game. The drinks was ok wasn't a big fan of that. Overall I would go back again.. Staff were great too!

The Local is such a great spot for anything from hanging with friends, watching your favorite sports team on one of their many TVs, dancing on Saturday nights with their live DJs, to hosting an event. I have done it all and it has been amazing every time! The food is great! The drinks are great! My favorite is their Reese’s PB cup drink! I can’t say enough about The Local. Such a great spot with great vibes! Keep up the great work!

Stopped by this new spot tonight and it didn’t disappoint. Vibe was incredible. Great food, awesome bar and attentive staff. TVs everywhere. Definitely try The Local burger!

Great atmosphere and food! Decently priced and plenty of tvs to watch your favorite sports

This place opened a year ago not far from my house. I’d driven by it several times without going in. Today I had lunch there. What a nice little bar. The interior design is really well thought out. Super clean with friendly staff. Great place for meal/snack, drinks and take in a game. My turkey club was excellent as were the fries. I’ll be back!

Was exactly what we were looking for to watch the Games. Drinks, Simple Good Food, and TVs for the games. Will be back with friends.

By far the best restaurant around! The Local has taken the meaning of a sports bar to a whole new level. Aside from the incredible food, cleanliness, friendly staff, and immaculate energy, The Local has become a place where the East Providence community comes together to share laughs, drinks, and create memories. 10/10 best place around — if you’re in the area it’s a must-try.
