I recently visited Petco and had an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff who were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about their products. Their willingness to help and offer advice made my shopping trip a breeze.

One thing that really stood out to me was the store's commitment to cleanliness. Everything was well-organized and spotless, which made navigating the aisles a pleasure. It's clear that the staff takes pride in maintaining a clean and inviting environment for both customers and pets alike.

In addition to the excellent service, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices at Petco. They offer competitive rates on a wide range of products, making it easy to find everything I needed without breaking the bank. Whether you're shopping for food, toys, or accessories, Petco has you covered at a great value.

Overall, I can't recommend Petco enough. The friendly staff, great prices, and clean store make it a top choice for all pet owners. Whether you're picking up essentials or just browsing, you're sure to have a wonderful experience at Petco!

I went to Delafield Petco to buy a
Black Moor goldfish for my wife's fish tank,a young lady by the name of Liz was very helpful she had to special ordered the fish for me. She is very knowledgeable on how to properly care for the fish!
I am thankful for her help and expertise!
My wife is happy and the Black Moor is doing well with her Jumbo Fancy goldfish!

Thank you to Juliette who went above and beyond helping me In choosing food for my newly and very picky diabetic cat. She was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I even think she stayed later than her shift to help me.

Good products. A little expensive compared to some other places but always have the more rare items that are hard to find.

We ordered an entire fish tank assembly and stand online. It was ready for pick up the next day but we got there a couple days later to pick it up. The guy at the counter was super pleasant and helped us with everything. He was really busy and by himself at the front but he still took the time to come over to load our stuff on a cart for us to take to the car. He also came to the door and retrieved the cart just outside when we were done. [the weather was awful FYI and typical WI he still had on Shorts :) Adorable!] He was super nice, curtious and fun to chat with. Everything was ready and perfect. We were in and out in 5 minutes or so. My husband was thrilled because he wanted to get home to watch the end of the basketball championship game!

They have a pretty decent live aquatic plant selection now. They are a bit on the pricey side. I picked up five species.

When I arrived at the store I was able to quickly get assistance finding the cat tree that I wanted. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I will DEFINITELY be buying all my fish stuff from here. Why? Because of the sign promoting the safe, ethical treatment of bettas (next to the betta section). Went here yesterday to start cycling another 5.5g for yet another betta. Nothing can beat Petco sales on Aqueon tanks.

I understand that corporate makes them keep bettas in cups most of the time, but I like that this store is striving to end misinformation and let potential owners know what these beautiful fish require. It will lead to longer lives and healthier fish.

As a long time fish keeper, it is nice to see stores that try to set customers up with the proper equipment a fish needs. It makes me much more likely to purchase from the store. It lets me know that the employees here have knowledge on the animals they keep. I am more likely to trust them. I hope companies and other stores see the importance that signs like this have on consumers.

I even posted it on a betta blog where other experienced keepers praised this store for the initiative. Thank you. I really hope this continues 🐠

I have been into this Petco about 6 times in the last two weeks as I’ve been adding to my aquarium and setting up another. Liz and Gabby have been INCREDIBLE! Always knowledgeable, patient and looking out for my best interest as well as the interests of the fish I am selecting.

Liz even went out of her way to help me select a new food for my senior, toothless dog. He loves it AND it meets his specific diet needs. She really listens and takes the time to learn so she was ready to help customers like me who aren’t quite sure what they’re looking for.

I always had the fear in the back of my head that pet stores didn’t properly take care of the animals they sold, but when it comes to Petco-Delafield I couldn’t have been more wrong! I can’t speak for every store but throughout my visits I have seen what wonderful care is taken of all of the animals from snakes, to ferrets to even the beta fish!

Sidenote: for those who have been put off by being recommended NOT to take a fish home the same day as your tank it’s because the tank water needs to cycle first or the chemical levels in the water can kill the fish! The staff is doing their best to look out for both the fish AND you or your kids. Nobody wants their fish to pass right away! And the staff here has the knowledge to help you have an enjoyable experience with your pet!

Went to Petco to get some treats for my kitties and the store is actually really well-stocked. There are some promotions that are really good deals.

Liz was extremely knowledgeable and SOOO friendly. She made it an absolute pleasure just to be there. I’d give her 10/5 stars if I could

The two women personal working at the at the Delafield Petco on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, were extremely knowledgeable.They helped me navigate through the myriad brands of dog food to locate the kind that would best suit my allergy prone 13 year old dog. I appreciated their kindness and expertise .

The Petco employee helped me carry the aquarium to my car and he was very nice!

Nice store, fairly clean (some aisles with large dust devils on the floor), but very nice folks working. Overall pleased given slightly higher prices than others, but acceptable for quick needs.

I started taking my dog for grooming and they are always so sweet and nice. He actually seems to enjoy going. Very happy with the ladies in the grooming dept. Keep up the amazing work

Today my boyfriend and I got two mystery snails for our betta here is a pic of them getting aquatinted! The women who grabbed our snails was very helpful and and answered our questions we love our little aquatic family

I went in to pick up catnip for my cats and I was more than pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service I received at this location. Peyton helped me find a large bag of catnip at a much lower price than I expected, and her helpfulness will keep me coming back whenever I am in the area. I would absolutely promote her at first chance. She is taking the time to make real connection with the customers!
