This German scratch made restaurant is bomb. They have so many good foods to choose from. Today I had the Pierogies, because it's Pierogie Friday. They were scrumptious. Filled to the brim and smothered in grilled onions, bacon, sourcream, and green onions. The bratwurst was Great too, covered in house made kraut. My friend ordered the reuben burger. O MY GOODNESS ! People you have to try it. Please ... I couldn't even eat dessert but boy did I want to. I haven't steered ya all wrong yet have I? Go! Go today! Go now!

A German-American restaurant way out in the middle no where? I'm in.

When in Rome right? i ordered the Jagerschnitzel with Spaetzle, My partner also tried the Pierogi appetizer which was more then enough to share. All of which was absolutely outstanding. Flavors were great, portions were perfect.

The pie was ridiculous. IF you are on the fence about trying this place, they have homemade desserts which are beyond delicious.

The owner came out and checked on the table and spoke with us about the breading of the tender my partner ordered. He was super friendly and was very gracious we were there.

Lily, Shelby, and Scott were super welcoming, fun, and attentive. We had a party of party of 6 including one child, who they all joked and entertained. We all enjoyed our meals and loved the cream puff. Thank you for welcoming us to the community, Lily and team!

Husband ordered the 33 Oz ribeye for Father's Day. Great flavor. Friendly service. The employees are extremely friendly. The desserts are also a must have.

Dined here for the first time today! Food was amazing and the service exceptional. I ordered the liver and onions. The liver was tender, the mashed potatoes were homemade and the brown gravy with mushrooms was seasoned nicely. The garden side salad was super fresh! My husband ordered the bratwurst with sauerkraut and really enjoy the German authenticity. Will definitely return!

I just ate here. The absolute BEST biscuits and gravy I have ever eaten. The breakfast was SO GOOD!!! Their desserts are absurdly good also. I don’t know if you can beat this diner for taste and price. The staff is super friendly and I have never been so happy with the frequency of the coffee refills. Really great diner overall. I will DEFINITELY be back.

My brother and I came up from Columbus today to try this establishment and must say the overall experience more than met our expectations. The staff couldn't have been any more gracious and accomodating. The food was spectacular. We both had burgers which were encased by a fresh and sweet pretzel bun. I had the Reuben burger layered with corned beef I understand is smoked in house as well as mildly tart sauerkraut and a tangy Thousand Island dressing. I also ordered a side of German potato salad which was equally sweet and tart and a nice addition to the burger. We also had their homemade desserts which include a variety of mouthwatering pies and cakes thst could rival any professional bakery. One of the owners remarked of their German heritage when we spoke and greatly influenced them to prepare and offer a diverse menu of homemade dishes including Weiner Schintzel. We will back to sample some more of the menu, including hopefully their Butterscotch cake.

Food and service was fantastic. The owner was very nice and answered any questions I had about the menu. It was a great experience, check them out.

This place was wonderful! It was our first visit, but we'll definitely be back. The food was delicious, and portions were large. There is a nice variety of food on the menu. All of the food was fresh. Desserts are made in-house and are amazing. Staff and owners were very friendly. Don't miss visiting this gem!

I love having authentic, delicious German food available right here in Crestline! Their chicken schnitzel and german potato salad are amazing. The owners and staff are welcoming and the service is great. They have also recently expanded their menu to include even more American favorites so, if you haven't been recently, stop in again.

This place was great ! We were able to order Ribeyes that were fresh cut, they were excellent. We got 2 diffrent kinds of baskets of rolls to try with the meals. The owner / cook came out to check on all of us.
Drinks were refilled and server was very kind.

I had the breakfast burger. I don’t know what’s in the “special mayo” but please don’t ever stop making it… in fact, put it on everything. It’s so good. Great place. Friendly and clean. I’ll be back asap 🥰

Authentic German food and decent prices. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast burrito large in size and they totally knocked it outta of the park . The home aid pico was amazing a must stop for great breakfast

The food here is awesome! You don't necessarily think German food when you visit Crestline, but this place gives you a reason to. Everything is very good, but the German potato salad and pretzels/beer cheese were unreal. The service was great too. We never had to ask for refills; they just appeared. The chef came out twice to check on us as well. Super great place. Family friendly too!

Extremely affordable and reasonable portion sizes. Will need to come back and try the beer cheese since they were out, but queso was a good enough substitute. Owner and server were both very nice, with the owner offering to remake my sandwich if it didn't exceed my expectations. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely be coming back.
