La Pointe has everything you need for your wedding. Big, open floor with a bar for your reception. Outside patio for cocktails and in house catering. But my favorite thing is the ceremony spot right on the water! Brock and Liz will knock your event out of the atmosphere. As a DJ, I LOVE coming to La Pointe!

10.21.23 - We were met with such great support from the whole team throughout the entire process and on the big day! Candyce was amazing and helped ease the stress that comes along with planning a large wedding. Both of us are the first of our siblings to get married and they are quick to be there every step of the way! I could not reccomend them more, beautiful venue, amazing planning, and such sweet people to work with!

My husband and I went to Liz and the La Pointe team about a year and a half before our wedding with a crazy idea. An idea of getting married under all their beautiful lights outside on September 3rd and on top of that have more guest than they were used to at the La Pointe Venue. Immediately a crazy idea turned into the most amazing night! Liz, Candyce, Brock, the Montpetit family and all the staff quickly became more than wedding planners and venue owners to us, they have become life long friends, family and truly the most amazing people we have ever worked with. Wedding planning, picking food, vendors and everything else is so stressful but if I could do it all over again solely for the fact of working with the La Pointe team I would! The most beautiful night, day, experience just everything couldn’t have been better! All night we had guest raving about the venue and I have to give all the credit where credit is due! Do yourself a favor and book your 2024/2025 dates asap!

My husband and I got married at La Pointe Events in the General Sam’s building on 10/1/22. The La Pointe team was absolutely incredible! Liz and Brock are the nicest people and truly care about their clients. We worked mainly with Candyce on planning the day and she was such an amazing help, to responding to ALL of my emails in a timely manner, to helping with decor and giving advice on many of the questions I had, and the day of if anything went wrong I sure never found out about it. The day was beautiful even though it rained basically from 1pm on (and yes, we still got married outside!) but the team and Candyce’s positivity sure made the day stress free for myself, husband, and wedding party members! It was very convenient that they also provided the food options for the day as that was one less thing we had to search for, and it was delicious. Many guests were impressed by it! Would recommend this venue to anyone 😊 We cannot thank them enough for making the most important day of our lives perfect!

We attended a wedding event in late October here. It was such a great organization in an amazing location. They had the ceremony outside next to the river and with sunset the atmosphere was great. Service was great in the dinner reception and I liked the bar and drinks as well.

Absolutely loved this venue! As a wedding videographer, this location is perfect for photos and videos! The inside is clean with white walls and high ceilings! The bridal suite is also a great addition with plenty of getting ready space!

Liz, Candyce and Brock were an incredible team to work with to make sure our wedding day ran smoothly! They were incredibly responsive and happy to answer any questions we had about the day, and truly made the process a smooth one. La Pointe is SUCH a beautiful venue- the sound of water trickling down the river and birds chirping during our ceremony felt so peaceful and was such a beautiful setting for our wedding. We got so many compliments on both the venue and the food, and my husband and I feel that choosing La Pointe was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! I seriously can't say enough good things about this venue!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience at LaPointe Events. Our daughter was married at the General Sam’s venue the end of September and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue and staff for this special day. The grounds are gorgeous and the patio and reception area were absolutely stunning. We received so many wonderful comments from guests as well. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and communicated with us every step of the way. Knowing the staff had everything under control and truly cared about our experience, helped us relax and made our day that much better. Thank you to all at LaPointe for making our day so special and one that we will remember forever!

My husband and I had the most magical wedding day at La Pointe. During our planning process, they were incredibly helpful with answering my many questions efficiently. They have perfected the organization that it takes to swiftly pull off large-scale weddings. We will never forget Brock coming outside during our golden hour photos to inform us that there was an even better spot but we’d have to hop in his side-by-side. The two of us plus several vendors hopped in to head to the most beautiful spot. This ended up being the highlight of our day. Liz, Brock, Candyce, and the rest of the La Pointe staff, we can’t thank you enough for all the work you put into our day. We knew after touring this venue that it was our only option and it should be yours too!

My wife and and I got married here on June 17th, 2023. For lack of better words, our day truly was absolutely amazing. Almost 3 weeks later and we still have family and friends talking about our wedding and how gorgeous the venue is. Brock and Liz really knocked this one out of the park and it's exciting to have such a world class venue locally here in Western Wisconsin. The apps and dinner were great, the staff was awesome and the bartenders made great drinks.

Thank you Brock and Liz for making our special day absolutely amazing. We look forward to hopefully seeing the both of you at Sam's Christmas village for years to come!

La Pointe created such a magical day for our wedding. Liz and Candyce were responsive and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We chose the Sam's village venue and not only were we happy with how it turned out but our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful and impressive it was. The setup is perfect and the staff was incredible. I found out later that on our wedding day they were shirt staffed but I would have never known because Liz made sure we didn't want for anything. The natural beauty of the venue, incredible staff, and venue setup made our wedding more than we could have imagined.

We had the best experience booking, planning and having our wedding at La Pointe. Liz, Brock and Candyce are all incredible, and they truly do everything they can to make the day go perfectly (even in a torrential downpour)! The setting is picturesque, the space is perfect, and the food and drink are not only really good but also reasonably priced. Highly recommend booking here!

We knew immediately that we wanted to get married at La Pointe Events as soon as we stepped on site for the initial tour and meeting with Liz. Liz, Brock, and the entire team is beyond anything you could ever imagine - the whole planning process, they were extremely responsive and patient with all the emails we sent with questions about our day. Even when Liz and Brock had so many things going on in their personal lives, they ensured we felt taken care of. Our wedding day was perfect, and we know we owe so much of that to the team at La Pointe - if anything did go wrong, we sure didn't know about it. Our parents were even able to enjoy every aspect of the day! Guests were raving about the food and venue - we cannot thank La Pointe enough for making the wedding of our dreams come true. You will NOT regret booking your wedding with them!

Absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding! We brought our travel trailer and camped onsite. Water and electric hookups were super convenient! The staff were great! Seriously impressed all the way around!

La Pointe is one of the most beautiful places to have a wedding. Liz and Brock were amazing to work with and very responsive to all the questions we had. The venue is beautiful, the location on the Apple River is amazing and makes for gorgeous pictures. My husband and I had our wedding reception here and the whole day was perfect. Brock and Liz handle everything and think of every detail. The food was delicious and came out very quickly. Throughout the whole planning process, Liz and her team are amazing, she thinks of everything, even things we hadn't considered to ensure that the day runs seamlessly. We were always able to get in touch with her and she was around the entire wedding day to ensure things went according to plan. My husband and I weren't worried about a thing and everyone at our wedding commented on La Pointe. The outdoor space really sets this venue apart, the landscaping and ability for people to spread out where they want was amazing. Also, the beer and drink selection can't be matched. My husband is a huge craft/specialty beer drinker and they were able to have a huge selection which isn't common among other venues. I can't recommend La Pointe enough. We had the most perfect day.

Recently just got married at this beautiful venue! Couldn’t have had a more beautiful day! Everything turned out perfect! The venue has so many different areas to take pictures around the venue! Liz and her family were more then helpful throughout the whole experience! Questions answered immediately and made the day way less stressful! One thing I really liked was how the owners took care of all the set up! Didn’t have to worry about setting up center pieces or anything the day or! We had many complements on how beautiful the venue was! The most complements we got was on the food! The food was amazing! Many people told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! Thanks for making our day so special! You all were great to work with!

I can't begin to describe how amazing La Pointe Events for our wedding. We have received so many compliments on everything like the venue, location and the food. Our wedding was truly a magical day. Everyone was extremely helpful and made sure that everything went smooth. I will be sure to recommend La Pointe to everyone!

La Pointe is an incredible venue and their team is outstanding! Liz, Candyce, Jett and Bryce go above and beyond to make sure your day is as special as it can possibly be. If you are considering this venue and another venue, choose La Pointe. We had total piece of mind during our day only because of their team. There are a lot of beautiful venues, but no team can provide the service that they do.

We did our wedding at La Pointe Events in May of 2022. 5 stars across the board! The venue was stunning, especially doing an outdoor ceremony with Apple River in the background. There are two venues at the location and the one we did was the former General Sam’s bar. It is right on the river and allows your guests to easily move inside or out, especially when the large retractable doors are opened.

The owners do an absolutely fantastic job with their customer service from the first introduction meeting through the entire event. Their pricing is straightforward with no hidden fees or unforeseen add-ons.

The food was good and we received positive reviews from all our guests.

This is such an amazing venue--wide open natural space along the beautiful Apple River, and plenty of space for a gorgeous socially distant wedding. What blew me away about the wedding I photographed here was the incredibly genuine hospitality every step of the journey here. The bride and groom were so well taken care of on their day, and all the guests were treated well at every turn. Liz and her team have thought of everything from champagne and healthy food for the bridal party in the gorgeous getting ready room, coordination behind the scene with vendors, signature photography areas onsite, decorative props to use, and all the thoughtfulness to roll with whatever comes up (because it's a wedding day right?). Liz even cut fresh hydrangeas from the garden and used them for extra decor. There is so much heart and soul in this place, and all the makings to be in the magic and not the mayhem of a wedding day. This is how a wedding should be hosted.
