Harmony Valley Farm

This is my third CSA in Madison and my absolute favorite! They gave us wild flower and herb starter packs and willow branches for all spring shares which was an amazing surprise.

They also allowed my friends to camp on their farm which was an incredible experience! We camped on this beautiful secluded spot surrounded by a river, farms and hills. They brought us a portapotty and a huuuge pile of wood that we couldn’t finish with a fire going all weekend. The owner checked in with us twice and talked to us about the farm. He told us we could pick asparagus and strawberries from the fields. So much fun!

I love their CSA! I’ve been a member for years and always get a great variety of organic vegetables, which gets me out of my rut of eating the same things all the time. They do great job keeping you informed about what’s happening at the farm and have lots of recipe ideas. There are a variety of pickup locations in Wisconsin and the Twin Cities. The season extends from May through December. I’d highly recommend signing up to be a member!

I have been blown away by Harmony Valley Farm's CSA boxes. This was my first year and my expectations have been far exceeded. Each box is quite literally PACKED FULL of produce. The variety is better than I knew could be grown in this area. The emails outlining the box content and recipe options for each type of produce greatly helps me meal plan. I've reduced my meat consumption simply by having wonderful produce consistently at my fingertips, and this feels beneficial to my health and the environment. Very important detail to mention: every single bit of produce has been fresh, without rot or being close to going bad. It's only October and I'm already excited to sign up for next year!

I regularly buy Harmony Valley's produce at the Coop, they are the best on the planet. It feels good to eat healthy!

We've been members for probably five years, getting deliveries in the Twin Cities. Everything is so fresh and clean. I appreciate that they expand the variety of what we might typically purchase and eat.

Harmony Valley has really high quality vegetables and an interesting variety. This is definitely the best of the four CSAs I've gotten in the Madison area.

Perfect for having a very real and natural stay.
Room, service, people... all great.
I would recommend to single, as well as couple, friends or even families who want to have a break from the city life.

The BEST CSA in the Madison area. The only bad thing is that once you experience HVF, you won't ever be able to go back to any other!
