Tequila Mexican Restaurant

INCREDIBLE. This is some of the finest Mexican cuisine the south of Illinois has to offer. Plump, toothsome morsels of Hispanic food topped perfectly!!! I watch the Food Network on cable so know a thing or two about authentic Mexican food.

We didn't have power. So happy that Tequila Mexican Restaurant was open past 9 p.m. They had a good sized crowd even at that time. Food still came out fast.

This place is definitely hit or miss for service, and sometimes it is pretty hot in there. They did just redo their menu and it had some exciting new items!

Food is more traditional than most Mexican restaurants you find in this part of the world. That is very good.

Festive atmosphere. Had fajitas would order it again. Macho nachos were good. The burritos could have been a little better but they weren't all bad. Will go back and try other dishes would recommend it moderately priced.

My husband and I order takeout just about everyday from this place. Eaten in several times as well the atmosphere is nice and cozy. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is amazing! We always get the veggie fajitas with a side of green sauce.. superb!

I look forward to my friends inviting me out to tequilas because no matter what I end up having a good time, it's even better now that I'm 21 and get to enjoy the bar side of the restaurant.

The fajitas are fantastic. Its a great atmosphere, you feel like you are in old Mexico. the margaritas are very good , but be careful, two are most peoples limit. i sometimes go for 3, but am a heavy drinker. love the place.

Very fast and friendly service. Restaurant was neat and clean. All food was well prepared and the sweet tea was very good. After this visit I would recommend this Mexican restaurant.

Was back at the same place on my work trip in May... The food this time was excellent. The service was quick and excellent also. The customer I brought to dinner with me enjoyed it also!
