Hometown Inn

Great place to stay! Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast room with clean and stocked well. The homemade waffles were yummy!! All day coffee and cold water with lemon available. Pool was clean and well-kept. Within walking distance to town with local restaurants and shopping. This is the second time I've stayed here and I will be sure to stay here many more times.

They were gracious enough to let us use their pool for free to teach the 2nd grade cub scouts water safety and rescue. Pool was wonderful, hot tub, tables and chairs, and they even provided towels in the pool area. Lobby is excellent, with two large bathrooms right by the pool for changing. Didn't have a room, but would definitely recommend them, everything was clean, they were super friendly and kind, and I will definitely use them again. To swim you can pay per person or get a punch card, and it is super nice! Thanks again for supporting our local cub scouts! We love the Hometown Inn!!

Great location. The new owners were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The rooms need a bit of updating. Bedding was clean. The pillows need to be replaced.
Have stayed here in the past and will definitely visit again.

After driving 800 miles to Mackinac, we were exhausted and in need of rest. However, the hotel rates in Mackinac were sky touching, so we didn't mind staying 30 minutes away. We got a double queen and a king room at a reasonable price. The check-in process was smooth, and the hotel staff were extremely accommodating. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and we were pleased to find a well-kept pool and hot tub. Although the breakfast in the morning was not excellent, it was decent enough considering the price. Our week-long stay allowed us to explore nearby places, including Mackinac.

I was a little skeptical when traveling to this place because it had bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised when I got there. The staff were nice and check in was quick and easy. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t listen to the bad reviews here I had a very nice stay

Stayed here at the last minute during a blizzard and did not regret it. The staff was incredibly nice! The rooms were quiet (albeit there were very few guests because of the snow), and the pool area was huge. We were even able to buy swim trunks, which was convenient.

A very nice hotel. The room was clean, breakfast was great, lots of light in the parking lot. Breakfast included juice, pastries, waffle iron, yogurt. Someone came in a few times to clean and stock during the half hour we were in there. The only negative was the side door didn't lock so anyone could enter but its not in a very populated area, and I always lock the room door.

Didn't stay here but met up with a local group ride and they were nice enough to open up 2 rooms for all the riders to be able to use the rest rooms.

I've stayed here 2 winters in a row with my grandson. Always clean, and the gentlemen behind the counter are kind. Pool and hot tub have worked great each stay, as well... I will return again...

Just stopped by on the way up north and stayed the night in this lovely little inn in Indian River. The staff was excellent and very polite. The pool and hot tub looked clean and up and running sadly we didn't have time to test them out seeing as we checked in at midnight right after they closed the pool. (bonus perk pool is open until midnight and they do have adult only swim time) they have a little store in the lobby for snacks and little necessities that are reasonably priced which I found a cute touch and very helpful for the weary traveler. Also there was a lovely smell coming from the little breakfast area this morning I can't comment on the food but I can tell you it is there 😁 so extra information you may need: check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am, breakfast is from 6am to 9am, pool is open I believe from 8am to 12am, no bugs or critters, rooms are clean and decent size with a mini fridge and microwave. Overall a very nice place to stay and rest your head.

Very clean rooms and pool and hot tub was nice they allow pets just 25$ a night we will definitely be back

We stayed for two nights. The room and hotel was very clean and well decorated. The jacuzzi tub was a great way to relax after a long day of exploring the area. The pool and hot tub was very clean and inviting. Outside there was a playground, grills with picnic tables, horseshoe pits, a fire pit, and pretty wooden swings placed around the area. Staff was very nice and eager to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you for a very nice and relaxing weekend. We will be back...this time with our kids.

A very nice independently-owned inn. I was here w/ a large group of guys on an ATV trip and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Complimentary breakfast. Pool. Spa. They even have outdoor grills and a large outdoor yard if you want to sit outside. It is very conveniently located near ATV and snowmobile trails. My only minor gripe is that the breakfast was the same every day (three days). Otherwise very nice staff and a nice location. Will stay here again.

10/24/2022: still a great location for ATV riding. The property is showing its age now. They are storing some air conditioners (in boxes) in the breakfast area. Breakfast was cereal, yogurt, and you could make a waffle. If you were here more than two nights you would be tired of it. The pool and spa was very clean, rooms were clean, but the property needs some paint and updates. I'm sure they are trying to dig themselves out of the COVID lockdown era which will take some time.

First time staying here and I was beyond satisfied. Rooms were clean and smelled great. The pool and hot tub were also very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Usually at a hotel you find one of these to be true but never all of them. I would stay here anytime and recommend this place to anyone

Last minute, there was one room available over the labor day weekend, which we took. Very easy access off 75. Great location and setting. It was very clean, nice pool and hot tub with adult hours late at night. The continental breakfast was amazing! We had so many choices, we couldn't decide. I would recommend this place to anyone! But save a room for us!

Love this Inn! The staff was very friendly and willing to help out with suggestions and ideas of what we could do and go visit next. Great ideas. The rooms were Very Clean and the beds were made just perfect. When we got into bed it was so snug and compfy with lots of pillows. Plenty of towels for the shower and to top it off they have a indoor pool and hot tub for relaxing.

The staff was very friendly. The location was right next to the highway and easy to find. The rooms are on the nicer end of where I have stayed. The indoor pool/hot tub area has later hours than most hotels I have stayed. Would stay again.

Staff was very nice. Accomodations were nothing special. Continental breakfast was served in the dining room.

We love staying at the Home Town Inn after our annual family reunion. Its clean, super friendly and it has a pool for the kids. Update: still clean, comfortable and quiet! Been staying here for years!

Ive stayed here in the past and my experience gets better everytime ive stayed here. Manager Kristy and her staff is absolutely unbelievably nice,fast and prompted service they're all very respectful and always wears a smile. And not to forget The Housekeeper Amanda shes goes way above and beyond her duties to help and make your stay a wonderful one. I definitely recommend and stay her again.
