The Happy Hound of Los Gatos

This is a hot dog specialty place - you can get krout dogs (my favorite), chili dogs and more. Lots of sauer kraout on the krout dog. I was able to order a vegi dog too. The garlic parmesan tots are also great.

Service was fast and friendly, We ordered through the outdoor window, but there is dining inside too.

A 40+ year staple of Los Gatos. It's what you'd expect it to be. Giant hamburgers and hot dogs fixed how you like. Good fries and milkshakes too. We love it for dinner when we get back from an activity. Fast, easy and tasty!

This is the best hot dog in the world. I have eaten so many hot dogs. This place is by far and away my favorite! The best hot dogs and combinations. Parking can be a little tough it is worth it. I just wish they had some t-shirts for sale. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent hot dog! I had the “hell hound”. Such a good blend of salty, slightly sweet and gooey. Fries were perfectly cooked shoe strings. Plenty of outside seating and a little inside seating as well. Very clean place and staff. Highly recommend. I sat at the counter and watched all the orders as they were made. Next time I will be trying the dog “grilled”.

Had lunch for the first time there today. The food was hot and delicious. Both my wife and I enjoyed what we had ordered. The only recommendation I can make is a little less mustard on the Polish sausage.

They literally have the best burgers anywhere and I like burgers and eat a lot of great burgers everywhere but this place still tops the rest their bacon cheeseburgers are the best plus they have a huge menu selection of other stuff in case you're not wanting burgers.

Ordered to go and ate in the car. It's a little place with space to eat inside and outside. Limited parking but it's enough as people come and go and there's always at least one space available. The hot dogs were good and the prices amazing.

We were just driving by and the place looked popular, so decided to check it out. It was yummy hotdogs for sure! Really generous with the cheese and other ingredients. We had a hound dog and a cheese dog and both were yummy. There were customers constantly coming in and out. It was definitely worth a try. Will be back!

Best polish sandwich I have ever had. Amazing. I'll be back all the time. It was so good I don't know if I can try anything else.

I just passed by this restaurant and I saw lots of people here having foods, so I bought one hot dog what they’re famous for. The price is reasonable and I did not wait for a long time! The best part was the clerk can remember what everyone ordered! The hotdog is yummy. Crunchy outside and the wrapped flour isn’t too thick! It’s fit for a snack!

A great spot for an excellent, straightforward burger and fries at a decent price. They have a couple of options like bacon and cheese and a few alternatives like hotdogs. The fries alone are worth a visit.

Skip the soulless corporate ghost kitchens on the corner. Go for the Happy Hound. It’s the best, hits the spot every time. Good old school eats.

Have been eating at this place since it opened. Husband always gets 2 hotdogs with everything and I get the Happy Hound Special №. 2 (that's 2 chili dogs with everything but the bread) to eat with a fork. Aaahhhhh!
--We went again a couple nights ago - bo't and for the first time, we took it home to eat. Not a good idea. Much better to eat in when everything is hot and tasty. Reheating it does it no justice: tomatoes got watery and made everything blander.

One of my new favorite places. I will think about the coffee milkshake before I fall asleep at night.

Hotdogs are good cause its full of toppings. A little bit pricey though.

Very unique , no chain hamburger and hotdog place, good fries. Hound special sauce is fantastic and delicious 😋
