Chicken Express

I am updating my review from earlier,
and I am very happy that the chicken is always fresh and super-hot and well cooked. I still closely check my order for accuracy and it should definitely be noted that they invariably add an extra tender to the order, but you should always check on the other items. Absolutely an improvement.

I am tired of not getting what I paid for at this Chicken Express. It has happened each of the past 4 times I have been there. I usually ignore it but tonight is too much. I ordered and paid for 7 chicken tenders - dinner for 2. With mashed potatoes and gravy I paid $19. The picture shows the tenders we got for our money. I've tried calling but nobody is answering. I even asked the cashier to check my order, but she didn't have to she said, because she packed it herself. Every darned time

I came in and ask for fresh hot chicken and the person told me how long it was that the chicken came out and how long it would take for the chicken that was still frying i decided to wait for the chicken that was frying, and it was sooo delicious i keep going back, thanks again Chicken Express.

Today the food was way off, the chicken breading wasn't cooked all the way, and the biscuits were flat little pucks. If the biscuits are bad, don't serve them.

I went to Chicken Express tonight. The food was great, as expected. However, I was more impressed by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Not only were they polite and respectful towards me, they were polite and respectful towards each other in the back.

I've never had the fried fish a Chicken Express before and it was exceptionally good too! The fried chicken especially the spicy variant has always been a favorite.

4 years ago when I lived in Hickory Creek, I would eat at this store 3 to 4 times a week. I now live in Lake Dallas, so I finally had a chance to eat here again. Nothing has changed at this location. The service, the food and a clean place to eat is still the same, OUTSTANDING!!!!

They have some really good chicken. And their Sides are very good.

Recommend the fried okra

The chicken is always excellent but last night we had two sides of gravy one was perfect and the other was what look to be watered down. Hands down the chicken is always excellent and this was the first experience we had with a problem with their gravy. I would definitely recommend

Picked up dinner for the day in the drive thur. This location has a great crew. They are friendly and helpful. Food was cooked perfectly.

Love the chicken tenders, okra & honey mustard sauce.

The food is good, but not great. I've tried almost everything on the menu because we've eaten here so many times, its always been good, I just need to season everything (and that's not a complaint).

I especially love the catfish. I don't know why, but I always have to long wait my order. Fish can be overcooked, or just right... yet I always take my chances. Lol

Updating my last review of three stars to five stars. When I reviewed this restaurant 10 months ago I wasn't very happy, after returning 10 months later staff is great, food is good thank you.

Pretty dang good chicken if you ask me. The restaurant was freshly cleaned and i felt welcomed from the time I entered the front door. Keep it up!

Always friendly and always good! Very rare to have an issue here and they have always taken care of me!
