not very crowded for a weekend trip. just dont go if it rains that week. .water gets very muddy from runoff.. no rain and water is fairly clear

One of the Carolinas best lakes for seeing nature at its finest. Portage for kayaks and plenty of fishing opportunities abound. Boating is great with 3 boat ramps. Watch for the rocks at the top end near the High Rock Dam.

Love swimming and fishing here. But come on people they have provided trash cans use them!!! There aimt no maid that goes out there and cleans up.

I grew up on this lake when I was a young man. I absolutely love it out here. I hate the fact people don't care like they should about places like this and trash it and leave it a mess
