What a fantastic little spot for lunch! We met my parents here and were pleasantly surprised by this eatery on the Main Street in Bath. The server was prompt and knowledgeable.

We began with a coupe tasty apps, followed by a filling Santa Fe Salad and Rachel sandwich. The Peach Bourbon Cheesecake for dessert was a perfect finisher. It was a nice spot to sit for “a-whyle” and do a bit of computer work after lunch.

My absolute favorite restaurant in the area! I recommend this spot to everyone who comes through the bar I work at. The cracked potatoes are a must! Their dessert case is worth the stop on your way out—especially their homemade sticky buns! We usually go for brunch but wanted to try their prime rib since breakfast is always so good. The prime rib was AMAZING 👏 Cannot say enough good things about the place

This spot had a great, calm vibe. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! I would highly recommend going here. I know I’ll be in again!

A very lovely restaurant in a beautiful town of Bath. The food is freshly prepared and extremely yummy. The portion size is really generous. The customer service is outstanding and the place is pretty huge and clean. I tried their “Rachel” sandwich with homemade chips. Their house made chips are worth having. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars for food. Everything is beyond expectation. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent. It was a little on the pricier side than most places , but the quality of food made up for the cost. Service could've been better though.

Stopped in with friends for dinner and boy , we were pleasantly wowed by the service and food ! Calamari and green fried tomatoes were delicious the sauces were interesting and delicious. Hubby has the build your burger which was huge , perfectly cooked very juicy. The " Rachel and caprice chicken " sandwiches very well constructed and great flavors. The shrimp scampi huge portion and large perfectly cooked shrimp. Wonderful salads as well. I would give our meals 4 to 5 *. Certainly high quality food. 4 people 117 .00 $. When the food is this good , price is well worth it. Thanks Chat .

I stayed at a local hotel and needed a good breakfast before heading back out on the highway. I ordered the Brunch Burger. I was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. The burger was cooked to order. The toppings were fresh. Spring mix lettuce was a major plus. (Not a fan of iceberg). The potatoes were awesome, nice and crispy. The coffee was good. Pricing was fair. I would definately recommend stopping in.

Very happy they reopened. The restaurant looks fantastic and the food is even better. Lots of ingredients are locally sourced and the dishes taste incredible. I highly recommend the prime rib, Mac and cheese, and salads. I look forward to trying more.

We were traveling through the area with a group of 22. We gave them several day's notice of that big of a group. Not only did they accommodate us, they were staffed and ready for it, the tables were ready when we got there, and the service was excellent. The food was wonderful and nobody was left needing anything. Highly recommended!

Had a great breakfast and the decor is modern. Wait staff was excellent. Vegan option shown here was top notch. All other breakfasts were great too, omelette, fried eggs, French toast. The breakfast potatoes are a must. We had been here 5+ years ago and did not have the same great experience as today. I believe new owners now?

Back home for the first time in over 40 years, and though the name is the same, it's definitely not the same restaurant I had my wedding rehearsal dinner at! LOL! Much more upscale now with corresponding food prices. Not out of line, but definitely not the Chat-a-Whyle of 40+ years ago. Wait staff was very good - kept up with us without being bothersome. Food was very good and we didn't wait long for it. All in all, a nice meal out

So glad to see this place is open again! Stopped in for lunch and had an absolutely stellar tuna melt. VERY good. The sweet potato fries were good as well. Clean table, clean bathroom, nice waitress. The menu is small and uncomplicated. This place has been here since my mom was a kid so I'm really glad to see it's still here and doing well.

I absolutely loved our experience here and the food! I ordered the apple walnut salad which comes with grilled chicken on top. And my boyfriend order their salmon dish. I tried his and liked his as well. We both ordered a cup of soup which was the homemade chicken noodle for the day. It was fantastic! I might have to go back just for that! I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to stop by for a drink as well. We ordered pomegranate mimosas, which were also delicious.

Buttermilk waffle, Fried chix and scrambled egg delicious out of the box experience. Wish there was warm honey as listed on menu. It was a hot sauce made with honey.

Super cute family restaurant in downtown Bath. Comfort food. It's good and country, ie, they put ice in the beer. Everyone knows each other, including the staff. Everyone is really friendly and kind, you feel right at home, even if you don't know anyone in there. More than just a diner, they've got their own authentic recipes, including their signature Chat sauce that goes on a few different dishes. If you haven't been here yet, you owe yourself a trip.
