I had some random pain today and went straight to the office. I met with Dr. Sarah Hall this morning after she was able to squeeze me in for a quick appt.

So grateful for her and the ladies at this office taking my concerns seriously and not sending me away.

This is a good midway point for non seroous emergency care without having to go from Dover area to Newark to the hospital.

Very caring staff and great doctors. They take the time to explain everything clearly, even to a panicky patient such as myself. Lots of offices have you leave a message and they return your call later unless it's urgent. It's the way it is in today's world so....

Dr. Susan Kelly is awesome. Very thorough and detailed about your care. I’ve always had a super proactive and supportive response from them when lady issues arise. No complaints.

Love Dr. Hall! It was my first experience with a gynecologist and she and the nurse made it a lighthearted and relaxed experience. Would definitely recommend her to anyone!

The doctors are wonderful, they take their time with you, they make you feel like a person and not just another number. The nurses may have a little RBF but they’re actually very nice and professional.

Being generous with 3 stars specifically because of how vigilant Dr. Reid is. I have had symptoms of PCOS for years. I have voiced concerns again and again and have always felt dismissed because I’m considered to be overweight… another PCOS sign. However, Dr. Reid has been the only provider to take my concerns seriously. Hopefully we are now on the track of diagnosis. As great as Dr. Reid is, the office staff that I have encountered are very disrespectful, incompetent, and apparently hate their jobs enough to reflect attitude on to patients. To the lady who I spoke with today, 11/22/2021 at approximately 1:43pm; I sincerely hope you appreciate your job much more than you appreciated the phone call you rudely disconnected over miscommunication. 🙂

I have had very few negative experiences with Smyrna Women’s Health. The big thing is they never answer the phones. I have left message after message with no response back and you could call 20 times in one day and no one is going to pick up. It’s beyond frustrating trying to get in contact with your care team and having a phone that goes to a voice mail that no one returns calls from.

I was incredibly excited to meet with Addy Reid, this summer, and my first appointment with her was fanstastic. However, I've had significant health issues and I am extremely disappointed and dishearted with how she has disregarded my concerns.

During a phone call to review my imaging results, she was VERY dismissive of my questions and concerns, and told me I was fine when I was telling her that I didn't FEEL fine.

I was recently hospitalized and my discharge instructions were to see my GYN for discussion of possibe causes of my issues, and when I tried to schedule she told the scheduler to tell me she wasn't going to schedule with me because it wasn't a GYN issue, even though the hospital doctors VERY CLEARLY reported that my suspected diagnoses ARE GYN ISSUES.

Thankfully I have found a new provider that's referred me to a new GYN that is trying to help me, but it was a struggle and it was made MUCH MORE DIFFICULT by Addy not taking me seriously, dismissing and disregaring me, and refusing to help me.

The front office staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. However, Adeyinka O. Reid, NP is the kind of substandard practitioner that, because everything is said with a smile, women have come to understand this as competent care. Ill-informed in current contraceptive options, uneducated in pelvic rehab, suggested not to treat based on a presumed (and incorrect) inability to pay, unfriendly towards LGBTQ patient issues. It's possible other providers in the practice are better.

Does anyone ever answer the phone?

I received a referral from my PCM for this office and was instructed to call them immediately to schedule an appointment. Upon calling, I was met with an automated message saying to leave a voicemail and my call would be returned within two business days. That was a week ago. I have tried calling at different times over the course of a few days and cannot get through to anyone or receive a call back. I understand calls are prioritized on the basis of need and urgency, but if calls are unable to be returned within the time frame that you are giving, then maybe the automated message needs to be changed to reflect that. Waiting a couple days to receive a call back to schedule an appointment is okay and common, but waiting a week and never hearing back is not. I get the medical field can get extremely busy out of nowhere, but why does your website say you’re accepting new patients and your voicemail says calls will be returned if that’s not the case? I worry this is reflective of the care of their patients and their office overall and although I have heard good things about this office, the reviews I’m reading and my own first impression is making me want to just get a new referral and go else where. It’s not like I’m able to get through to make an appointment here anyway.
