Great golf course in Jersey!
Well kept and level of difficulty is medium. A lot up and down in the hills that make it very nice and challenging. Recommended!

Went to Black Bear for a vacation and mostly everything I experienced was 5 star. The golfing was great. Done some skeet shooting for the 1st time and found out that my son was as good of a shot as I am. They have a glow ball put put course right outside the hotel. The pool is awesome with hot tubs included. That gaming area and basketball court is tops. Plenty plenty to do. There restaurant called Kites and if you want to eat there you need to have reservations to eat so you will be turned away to book for a later time if available. The food tasted great BUT it took OVER AN HOUR to get our food. The wait was so terrible but the waitress was so so nice. You can try you luck at Kites but im good.

Played Black Bear last week. Course is in amazing shape for the beginning of this season and looking forward to many more rounds at Crystal! Thanks to all the staff for a great experience.

Christ but very well maintained this is a very interesting golf course, there are a lot of elevated greens and shots over water and other hazards.

Amazing course. Conditions are amazing, pace of play is always kept relatively great. Staff is friendly and helpful. The bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat when finished with round.

Nice golf course and reasonable price. Big practice facility for range members. Crystal Springs Resort is the northeast headquarters for The Leadbetter Golf Academy, with one of their facilities being located at Black Bear!

The best golf course and even better people - The Starter - Glen, the best; the straw that stirs the drink. When he dies, shut it all down. JT - unreal, he makes it all happen, the experience, everything. Crystal Springs is lucky, I’ll tell ya lucky to have em. If you think Bob Coletti is the man, you haven’t met Glen & JT yet.

The course is well managed and very well maintained. It has a good mix of challenging and friendly holes. It is one of my favorites.

Had an amazing time yesterday. Amanda and team were excellent host for our golf outing. Looking forward to playing again.

Sorry this is not a golf review. We went for Mother’s Day Brunch and it was great. Nice and clean, food was good. Staff was extremely friendly. Well organized. Took Covid precautions. Mask, disposable gloves at the buffet. What a great time. Only problem was the doughnuts were left out in the open and it was cold in the room and they were extremely hard. Try to keep them covered and warm next time.

Awesome course to play. Very well manicured and maintained. The staff is very knowledgeable , friendly and helpful. The pro shop is stocked with anything you may need. Each hole is challenging and with wide fairways, and large greens, gives even the pure amateur a chance for a birdie or par. I highly recommend playing this course if you are in the area. Afterwards stay to enjoy a great meal in there pub style restaurant.

Went to Black Bear for an outing on 6/4. Course was in beautiful condition. The Rangers are making their way around the course making sure everyone is keeping pace and going the correct direction to the next hole. They did a great job accommodating the outing.

I love Black Bear. I find it really challenging with some narrow windows and elevation changes. Always in great shape and terrific scenery. It’s becoming hard to justify the cost now that it’s $100 a round.

One of my favorite courses in the area.. and good foodafterwards. Love the wild life on the course!

We had our wedding at Black Bear and it was nothing short of magical. The venue was a perfect fit and the staff, led by Sydney, was a well oiled machine. Everyone working that night was so kind and helpful even our guests approached us and mentioned the hard working staff. We cannot say thank you enough for making our night so special. Highly recommend as a wedding venue.
