Mizu Sushi And Grill

First time we had been here and it wasn't bad. Not exactly what I was expecting but a nice change of options. The sushi menu is outrageously big. If you are there try something new, step outside your comfort zone. Take it with a grain of salt. This is not Nobu, but it is pretty darn good (the prices aren't Nobu either).

A very lovely eatery. The menu is large, too large to capture it all. The food is plated so lovely too, very friendly staff, cute atmosphere. It's really fun trying the different foods and many vegetarian options! I would choose this place to take my family or honey for a special occasion.

This is a great, reliable place for Asian food. The menu is big and full of variety. Vegans, meat eaters, and everyone in between can find something to eat here. The service is friendly and fast. The food is consistently good. You can also order here and take your food to go. All in all, this is a great place in Zanesville!

The food was excellent. I don’t really care for dumplings but my friend recommended them- pork gyoza. They’re lightly browned and the dip is fabulous.

The mizu special roll is quite tasty and you get a decent size roll for the price.

Service was on point as well.

this was my first time trying this restaurant and it did not disappoint. i had no expectations. the food was delicious. the waitress was super sweet and kind, and seemed to always be available at the right time. i will definitely be going back!

Great little spot here i discovered. The Sushi was really good. I really liked the seaweed salad. Place was clean, service was fast, people were friendly.

This is Zanesville hidden gem! Sushi, Saka and even chicken teriyaki, best fried rice, and the staff!! Talk about friendly, willing to explain things about menu items you are unsure about. If you have not tried Mizu yet, hands down you are truly missing one of Zanesville finest dining experiences Price is $$$ I have taken time to update gogglers on their menu and drink menu. A little pricey but the quality more than makes up for it. Great food and variety. Service has always been good.

Tried sushi got the first time it's not what I expected. I liked it

This was my second time going here, first time was for take-out and this time was for dine-in. Good experiences both times. So far I've had the shrimp tempura bento box, sweet potato roll, california roll, spicy tuna roll, and the Zanesville roll. I never thought I was a sushi person until I tried it here! I usually don't like the flavor/texture of the seaweed wrap, but that hasn't bothered me at all at Mizu. Highly recommend if you're wanting to try sushi, but they do have hibachi and other yummy options available as well.

Relaxing, casual atmosphere. Friendly, pleasant staff. Good sushi bar offerings and spirits to boot (gotta love the sake!). Accommodates single to not too large groups seating. My opinion, it is not small kid friendly. However, they do offer high chairs, booster seats and a children's menu. More for teens to adults dining to enjoy. Recommend this establishment for a delicious dining experience... and don't forget to order the hot sake!

Great food and kind servers. They have a lot of great vegetarian options, which is always a plus for me. I got a side of hibachi fried rice and sweet potato rolls, which were both delicious!

The place does not look like much from the outside, but as soon as you walk inside, the place becomes very fancy and clean. The menus are very detailed and even show a picture of every sushi roll served! A sashimi plate we ordered came out with a fancy martini glass display. Sushi was wonderful.

I stopped for dinner and ordered takeout. I got the Dinner- Teriyaki Steak Bento Box. Food tasted good, it was hot, and only took 15 minutes. Okay price & a great portion size!

Good quality sushi. A bit pricey but they're really quick and really good. Def worth the higher price point. I got the California roll and the fantastic roll.

My wife and I are from Pennsylvania and were passing through the area when we decided we should stop for some food. Mizu popped up and a few of the reviews we read were extremely positive. They were absolutely correct! Our meal was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful preparations and presentations on everything we ordered. We were quite famished so we ordered a lot. The "$30-$50/person" I chose on the cost options here included appetizers, multiple sushi rolls and a hibachi combo for myself. I wanted some leftovers to take with and eat when we got home, so you can definitely spend less.
When we travel back through the area, we will be sure to stop in again! As we saw in a previous review, it truly is a "Hidden Gem"!

The food is amazing. I have a co-worker who was stationed overseas that suggested we go; saying it was the best sushi he's had since coming back from Japan and other places. No lie- I didn't think I liked sushi!
Mizu is clean, has delicious food, and great service.. Absolutely amazing selection and their special rolls are the bomb.

I've been to a lot of different Japanese restaurants, and this is definitely the best one out of them all. Even their plain fried rice is delicious. I was very satisfied with everything I ordered, and they were super fast getting my food out to me. The soup was actually hot, too, instead of just warm, and that usually never happens when I get takeout. A+
