Public Buffet

So... I will order takeout EVERY day, it is delicious... but, (and I don't know that my opinion should be taken into account...) the buffet food tastes so bland, and I prefer other places over this. That being said, MANY people have recommended this buffet, and it is really busy during peak meal hours, so apparently I am in the minority on how delicious Public buffet is. Atmosphere is typical, but it is very clean. Staff is friendly and attentive any time I am there.

The food is fantastic and they work hard to always have enough food for everyone. It's a buffet so you can get whatever you want. Love this place ❤

Good variety and food was fresh.

It was my first time eating here. The food was really good and fresh. The service was amazing our plates were quick to be cleared. And I was really clean compared to most restaurants. The windows seals weren't dusty, the floors were clean. I will deff be back.

This is MY personal favorite restaurant for the atmosphere, hospitality and service, as well as its a diamond in the rough. Meaning unless you catch the church crowd after they're released, it's typically not hardly busy. And the good is pretty good too. I've been attending this restaurant so much that I've burnt everybody out on it. If you go, you have to try the coffee cakes. They're spectacular.

Public buffet is always so good

I am so glad my husband and I discovered this place. I think it is by far the best Chinese buffet in the area, especially when considering the reasonable price. The food stations, seating area, and restrooms are always clean. The restaurant is brightly lit so you can actually see that the restaurant is clean. The food is always good and I like the offerings. There is something for everyone, including those who don't care for Chinese. The staff is consistently friendly and very attentive. They refill our drinks promptly and often. We liked this place so much, we ate at it almost every day for the duration of our stay in the area. We will be back whenever we return!!

Hot fresh food, good taste, good selection, great service and a nice clean environment. Very hard working folks. Best asian buffet in the area in my opinion. Will def be back. Not sure what's up with the nay sayers on here.

They've recently reopened the lobby which is great because I thought it was a little weird getting take out (which I never have) from a buffet xD. Before covid I've eaten here more times than I can remember and aside from one bad experience at night with cold food, every other time I ate there it was hot, good, and fresh.

Friendly wait staff. An excellent choice of foods although slightly limited but always fresh and taste great. If you have not eaten here it's worth a try

This place always has good food. Prices are reasonable, and you get a fortune cookie!

We have had a good experience during the times that we have eat in the dining room. We have called and placed a pick up order and we have no complaints. The food is hot and the waitress makes sure that your tea is always filled. 👏👍

My 1st time here. Very pleased. Huge selection of food and dessert. Clean. Lots of room. Staff is pleasant. And best of all, food was very tasty.

Food was excellent. It was the right temperature, they had a huge variety of chinese and and american as well. Priced low at 8.99 I think was the price and we will definitely go back. We're new to town and this was a delightful discovery.

It was a very good experience. The food was hot even though got there late. They also have a nice variety of fish and vegetables. Plus, after your meal you can always indulge in the selection of scoop ice cream.

this place has awesome food, if you really want chinese food, this is THE place to go to if you don’t wanna drive for hours just for food.

You other people must be picky as hell!

They have a very decent menu for such a small place and the quality is consistently good. The only complaint I can come up with is that the fried dumplings are only a la carte and not on the buffet. We quit going for the full buffet because we just can't eat enough to justify the price.

The "to go" menu has everything on the buffet and then some and in my opinion their fried dumplings are right up there with the best I have had. Considering they are the only game in town for those of us in Central Baldwin, they are excellent if you are craving Chinese.

BTW, Google is wrong. They are open on Sunday.

Excellent service and food

They have the best lo mein noodles in my opinion, went other places and I always end up coming back for the noodles and wonderful staff always so friendly. Hot and fresh food and close to home.
