Chef Joseph did an amazing job for Mother’s Day! The brisket was juicy and tender, the BBQ sauce was tangy and flavorful, the Mac n Cheese was the perfect combo of creamy and crispy, and the bread pudding was so soft on the inside it melted in your mouth. Everything was fantastic and made with attention and care. Highly recommend their food! 👏🏾

It has been a couple of weeks since my daughter's wedding and after talking to many guests, I feel can now leave an honest review. I'll start by saying we hired Chef Philip to cater the wedding for 120 people. We had 3 different appetizers with a main course of lasagna and chicken piccata with ravioli and lemon butter cream sauce. I wish I had gotten pictures of the food. It was all delicious! But here is where Chef Philip and his team really blew me away. My daughter had recently been told by her doctor that she can no longer have gluten. I messaged Chef Philip to ask if he could just make sure there were no croutons on the salad and she would just eat that. He messaged be back the next morning and told me he would make the entire lasagna gluten free! And the best part is not one single person could tell. And to top it all off, she had people show up to the wedding that did not RSVP and Chef Philip and his team made sure everyone got food. As far as his prices go, I asked my aunt who is a retired catering manager and she said his prices were very reasonable.

If you are looking for intimate dining or even a large event, this catering business is your stop to shop. Recently, they prepared my “Mothers Day” Luncheon. I did not know what to expect but they exceeded my expectations. We had brisket, Mac/cheese, and bread pudding pre-fixed. Oh my God, fresh and tasty!!! The brisket, heated according to Sou Chef Joe Andress, was so tender and the flavor like I had never tasted before. The Mac/cheese was creamy and very 😋 tasty. Lastly, the bread pudding with the homemade bourbon sauce was the bomb dot com..I’m creole SW Louisiana that grew up with all the best dishes, and me and my family voted that this catering company surpassed our expectations. Chef Phillip did a fabulous job for our private dinner amongst friends on Saturday night! From the planning to the execution it was a beautiful evening.filled with laughter, love, humor and a lot of eating. From the hors d'oeuvres to the salad, to the main entree and the dessert, the food was spectacular! Thank you so much!

We used chef Phillip for a private dinner. He did an excellent job with a family style steak meal. His crab cake appetizer was amazing. The bread pudding was a great finishing touch.

Had a huge group coming down to our Beach House this weekend at the Bolivar and decided to make breakfast tacos.
Purchased Chorizo from Chef Philip and it was truly a HUGE HIT!!!
All of my guests went on and on about how tasty it was and the best they have ever had. I am of Mexican decent and have to admit this is the best!!! Not greasy like store bought and more flavor than any restaurant I have had.
This will not disappoint!!!

Chef Philip and his team are truly exceptional. I hired them for a small holiday dinner party and each detail was handled perfectly! Each dish was delicious, made from top quality ingredients, skillfully prepared and beautifully plated. From booking, to planning, to set up and service- everything was 100% professional, easy and friendly.

As a wine and food professional, my standards are high and Chef Philip made my event so easy and so pleasant. I was able to fully engage with my guests and enjoy the occasion. And the kitchen was spotless in the end. Thank you Chef Philip for an excellent experience- what a treat.

We recently hosted a housewarming party at our lakehouse and Chef Phillip and his team did a phenomenal job! They are very professional and easy to work with. We met a couple of times beforehand to iron out all the details. They were very friendly and helpful in planning the menu for our party. All of their food is "to die for" and their work ethic is top notch! After our party, Chef Phillip and his team spotlessly cleaned our kitchen; they even swept and mopped our floors! We thoroughly enjoyed working with Chef Phillip and his team and will definitely use them again! Thank you for a job well done!

Chef Phillip and his team have catered 2 of my company's events. Squeezed on in during the Xmas season, and again for the Easter season. Chef Phillip and his team have knocked it out of the park both events. Bread pudding with Rum sauce is absolutely incredible, and I don't like bread pudding. If you have any large group event going on and don't want to deal with cooking...Chef Phillip is the man you need to call. Great pricing for the incredible amount, and quality of a FEAST you get.

I tasted the BEST bread pudding I've ever had from Chef Philip, and the Rum sauce was so good and perfectly balanced I had to share it with my friends and family. Enjoyed a wonderful Brisket BBQ lunch as an Employee Appreciation Day for the hard working staff at Southern Living Cleaning! Great service..and the food was DELICIOUS! Y'all gotta try the bread pudding! We learned it is a 100 year old recipe..and man was it good..best I've ever had! Thank you Chef for another hit with our staff!

Chef Phillip prepares incredible food. I have had the pleasure to try several dishes over the years and I can definitely say he will not disappoint! I can see the time and effort he puts into making sure his food is everything he promises. And I can truly say he understands what it takes to deliver delicious food.

Everyone enjoyed your dinner that you prepared for us. The food was very delicious and well prepared. We enjoyed the leftovers for a couple of days because of the amount of food you supplied to us was wonderful. If we have another event we will definitely call you to cater. Chef Philip and his team always aim to impress. The food quality and service never disappoint. He has an excellent team to back him up and they are just as passionate as he is. I don't have any pictures of the work Chef did, but I hope I can do my best to convince you how wonderful his team is. First let me start by saying how genuine of a person he is. From the moment we started discussing my wedding (a YEAR in advance) Chef was nothing but kind, sweet and so happy for us! He helped me through every question I had with no hesitation! He prepared over 240 Choice Ribeye Steaks for my wedding, with quite a picky group of eaters! The seasoning he used was absolutely mouthwatering and savory, cooked to a perfect medium rare! He paired it with the most buttery, creamy mash potatoes and home style green beans. And to start the meal he served a dinner role with a VERY Fresh salad! I forgot to mention, he created these beautiful Cucumber sliced special pieces (SO GOOD!!) that we served as an appetizer Durning the "appetizer hour".

I genuinely have never had better food at a wedding. I know I'm bias because it's my wedding, but seriously he is amazing! His team also provided bussing services and cake serving. This took away so much stress for my venue and myself!

If you're still not sold after all of this, at least give him a call and maybe set up a tasting! I promise you wont' be disappointed!

Chef Philip exceeded our already high expectations! Our daughter wanted to have a chef for her home wedding. It was the best part of her special day. The steaks were amazing and cooked perfectly. Broccoli and beautiful mashed potatoes made for such a beautiful plate along with salad and rolls. Our daughter picked tiramisu for dessert and Chef picked his favorite dessert, bread pudding with bourbon sauce..oh, my word! Thank you, Chef, and your helpers for making her day one she will never forget.

Don't cook. Call Chef Philip. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. He did dinner for 14 for my husband's birthday. It was so nice to be able to visit with the guests and not worry in the kitchen. And the food was absolutely fabulously delicious. Very Chocolate Brownies with Homemade Whipped Cream. Enough said.

My wedding was in November, it wasn't your typical wedding as we did everything on our own because of our budget. Philip worked with us to find an amazing dinner that worked with our funds, he was always in touch and gave us everything we asked for and more! This company is the most amazing catering service out there, other companies seemed to snub their nose at us when we told them we didn't have much to work with, but not American Private Chef Services, they worked with us every step of the way, and were so amazing at the wedding. If I could give ten stars, I would! They have impeccable customer service, amazing food, and let me tell you about that banana pudding!!! Wow!!
