I met Terry when I moved to Fort Mill. Good guy and easy to get along with. Retired officer. His son who is active law enforcement did my CWP class. I like knowing that my money is staying in the community and have never had anything but a smooth transaction when dealing with the business. Highly recommended.

This really only applies to the gun side of the store. Owner's friendly, but doesn't have a lot of personality. Or maybe he's just a little shy, and maybe a little scared to give too much of his own opinion on a gun for fear of running you off, but that might be kind of a good thing. Good luck trying to have a conversation or get his opinions on things. Prices start a little high, but make a cash offer and see if you can make a deal. I did. Do your research before hand so you know what you're looking at. Not a lot of selection. But, if you're driving by anyway, he might have something other shops either don't carry or sold out of.

Sold some scrap gold here the other week. The owner was not there unfortunately and had to deal with an individual who obviously had no interest buying gold for a fair price. The gold was clearly stamped 585 for 14k and after listening to him say it was fake 10 times, I pointed out the stamp he was unable to find . Still not satisfied he tested with drops 3 different times and of course all results confirmed it was real. He then weighed it and rounded down to the tenths place. I had weighed and figured out the true market value prior to going up there. The golds' true market value was $228 and i was offered $80 in a rude smart*** kind of way. I talked him up to 100 and took it because it wasn't something I really cared abt nor needed the money that bad. I asked the guy if he was giving me a fair price compared to other gold buyers and he swore that $100 was the very best i could get. Talked to brownlee jewlers later thst day and they said $180 was fair price. So after an hr of arguing the validity of my gold and receiving a few other random insults I got ripped off. These are not gold buyers its a straight up pawn shop that's not very trustworthy if the owner is not there.

Not sure how this place keeps business. Nothing but junk lined against each wall, doesn't even deal in electronics/computers etc. at all.

Went in this place this afternoon looking for a loan. I took my 16 in brushless Milwaukee chainsaw just to see. I didn’t really want to pawn it, and have never been on that side of things walking into a pawn shop. I have gone into some others to buy, but never to sell. The owner was rude right from the start, and right from the start I walked out. I don't really need the chainsaw, but it will sit on my garage shelf with my other tools before I let that rude guy buy it. I cant understand how someone in business could act in such a manner. The weird thing is, he has a life size cut out of President Trump right when you walk in the door. Although I support our President Trump, it is a little off putting to see. If he is that mans hero, maybe he should learn the art of negotiating? Either way, I would pay more to a Democrat before I ever gave that guy a dime of my hard earned money.

This place is a joke they don’t want to make money they want to take your money I tried to use him for a gun transfer and he told me to call him back. There was a customer he was talking to which that’s understandable. Well, I am a customer to anyways they are cheaper than the range a Ballantyne, which is right behind them I get to where I am going and I have the guy call him to get his FFL information, he does not answer OK so I’ll wait a few and I try to call him after we’ve left him a message. He still doesn’t answer. I’ll wait about 510 minutes. I’ll call back. The phone is off the hook. I keep trying to call back for 20 minutes and the phone stayed off the hook so he must have done that so we wouldn’t bother him. Poor choice, trying to do business with a rinky-dink pawn shop next time I will just spend the money and go to the range at Ballantyne. Don’t waste your time here if it’s got anything to do with firearms for customer service.

I’m not sure what this guys problem is… I’ve only encountered him twice and both times he was extremely rude and abrasive first time I just shrugged it off and said maybe he’s having a bad day second time today literally hangs up as I’m talking on the phone it’s not like the Glock 19 was the only firearm I was interested in… nor do I have a problem with the price just for that gun I do…. Anyways I will gladly take my business to the range at ballatyne not that you’re gonna care but maybe someone will see this and at least consider doing elsewhere as well… if you don’t want to be in the business then leave but don’t treat your customers poorly you catch more flies with honey then vinegar not sure why you’re so bitter and mean. Enough said
