Manitou Bar & Kitchen

Six of us enjoyed a special moms dinner here, first time coming for everyone. A manager called the morning of our reservation to let us know that parking maybe be challenging due to Marketfest, in case we were unaware of that event - which I thought went above and beyond, much appreciated!

We had the Big Pig pork sandwich with fries, Tempura Shrimp Tacos, Steak Bites appetizer, a Grain Bowl with added Blackened Tuna, the Manitou Mac with added Grilled Chicken, and the Chicken Chimichanga special - nothing but good things to say about the food.

We each also had dessert - New York Vanilla Cheesecake, Bread Pudding, and a Cookie Skillet. I have to say that most of us ordered the wrong one and would have preferred trading with another mom. That's probably just the nature of women and desserts. Next time we go out I'll suggest ordering a variety for the table and then just sharing them all. Lol

The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, I'll definitely be back!

We had a great dinner at Manitou this evening! We were looking for outdoor dining, drove by and decided to give it a try. Every person working there was extremely friendly, with many people stopping by our table to make sure we had what we needed. Our server, Tara, was great. I asked about a few menu items. She gave her honest feedback, and I decided on the blackened tuna sandwich, which was delicious. I will go back again for that! My husband had the parmesan BLT with fries and thought they were all great. The seasonings on the fries were yum! Jodie, front of the house, stopped by and chatted many times. And the outdoor space was great. We will be back!

Just delicious! Sat outside on the patio and had an amazing brunch. Amazing staff, very welcoming, and food was not only delicious but gorgeous!
You have to try the Bloody Mary. It’s a whole meal in itself.

When walking in it felt like a nice welcoming family restaurant.

Once we ordered our food it wasn't all that long of a wait and the food was packed full of flavor and you could still taste the base flavor of the food item. The walleye with wild rice and green beans was to perfection.

I would eat here constantly if I lived nearby because of the environment it provides and it is also a nice place to go on any different forms of dates. (Family date, parent/child date, date).

My husband and I pick one restaurant a month that we haven’t ate at before. We decided on Manitou and I’m so glad we did. Our waitress (can’t remember her name) was super sweet and bubbly, very attentive. The food was fantastic! I got parmesan BLT with caesar salad and my husband got Korean BBQ tacos and they did not disappoint. For a BLT, this was THE BEST one I’ve had. The parmesan was crispy and the bread was so good. The bacon was smoky and delicious. Will definitely be back!

The Walleye Entree with wild rice and green beans were so tasty. My son had that and loved it! I had the Chicken Pesto Pasta with artichoke's. This was absolutely delightful! Each bite was packed with delicious flavors! We would highy recommend this restaurant!!!

47 women on a mystery trip out of Fargo enjoyed a wonderful meal here tonight. Despite the large crowd they did their best to keep bringing the food out. We all marveled at the delicious toss side salad and dark bun as a starter.
Our portions were huge. My meatloaf was very tasty. Real red mashed with skins on. The vegetables were flavorful and not mushy. Thank you for accommodating us and the quality of your food. Thank you for greeting our group.

Had really good burgers and fries here. Helpful staff and great atmosphere. Also has a nice patio.

Great drinks! The prime rib was fantastic! Husband had club, which is his go to. Service was awesome! Bartender has the best personality and is always a pleasure.

Fun wait staff. Ok prices. Food portions are huge. Walleye fingers were the best I've ever had. More delicious French fries than I could eat. Will definitely return.

I came here with my boyfriend on a Saturday night. It’s a pretty cozy atmosphere inside. I ordered the Steak Wedge Salad and it was pretty good. There was plenty of bacon bits and blue cheese crumbles. The lettuce was fresh. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came just as ordered.

Went with my family for a meal during the holiday weakened. The food and service were great, and I love that their gluten free bun is only $1, as most other places are gouging like crazy for gluten free substitutions. I really appreciate this as this last year has been more difficult dealing with my Hashimoto’s disease and finding places and options to eat when going out with others. I don't know why it took so long for us to go here for the first time, but I will be going back more regularly.

Fabulous place to spend my friend's birthday celebration. Amazing birthday dessert as well. Good prices, excellent menu items and drinks.

First time here, drawn in by an attractive happy hour offering. On recommendation from the bartender, I tried the Loaded Brussel Sprouts. Wow! SO GOOD!

Our bartender was super fun and very prompt. We had a few drinks and had a nice time.

First time here was a good experience! Had the Brussel sprouts appetizer and they were delicious - probably the best part. The duck burger was good too. My girlfriend and I split that and the fish and chips and weren’t able to finish it all - we ordered the cookie ice cream desert anyway.
Menu was fairly narrow which I took as a sign that they have it down. Server said there was a new menu coming and will have to be back before it changes.
Inside was loud with bingo but looked nice. Took in the end of summer on the patio.

Had the impossible burger and fries...GREAT meal, friendly service, very fair pricing. Would definitely go again!

Brought the girls basketball team in today between games around 230... parents and kids probably 14 people. Great food and beverages and service...
