The food here is absolutely amazing, it's like a warm hug for your soul. The service is top-notch, and the food is just delicious. We usually visit on the weekends, and it's quite busy, especially when we come for dinner. Finding parking can be a bit of a challenge since it's street parking only. Last time, we had to park a few blocks away and take a walk to get to the restaurant.

What I really appreciate is the restaurant's vibrant paint job and the lively colors inside. It adds a fantastic atmosphere to the dining experience. I can't resist coming back here every time I'm in Appleton; it's just that good.

Top notch soul food in a cool atmosphere. I had the Big Azz Gumbo with smoked pulled pork, corn bread and Hush Puppies. Loved it all.

The Cozzy Corner features excellent soul food and Southern style comfort food. It's situated in Appleton's downtown area. We agreed that their ribs had the best flavor around. The price also being so reasonable, really makes the case for them. Don't sleep on the waffles either. I am getting one of those every time I go. They are flavor packed and have the most unusual yet amazing texture. Of course, chicken and waffles is the marquee waffle dish, but there's an entire page of other waffle options, (waffoptions). Our server was very helpful, and our food arrived in a timely manner. Presentation and food temperature was spot-on too. Now, the place is in tough shape, but the food definitely makes up for it. While there is some good ambiance, a remodel is still warranted. Can't wait to go back though. Oh yeah, I will get the fried okra again too. It's one of the side choices. Blues music playing in the background helps seal the deal as well. They got the Cozzy cure for my waffle blues.

This is the best southern food I have eaten in a VERY long time. Eugene was an awesome host and waiter. The atmosphere was exactly what I expected. I can't wait to go back. 💚💛

I really enjoyed my first visit. The inside is comfortable and fun. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the two meat plate which comes with corn bread and 2 sides. I ordered the fried spicy BBQ chicken and Cajun catfish. My sides were collard greens, Cajun fries and a bowl of gumbo. Everything was delicious and the items that were supposed to have a kick delivered some good heat. I will go back and recommend anyone who has a craving for some great soul food to give this place a try.

Ordered take out tonight from here, wow. I'm blown away. I love New Orleans. Been there 2 times. The food that is made here is as close as I've ever come in Wisconsin. Triple catfish sandwich was delectable. Cajun style, Flaky, white, perfectly crisp. A hint of spice just how it should be. Mac & Cheese as a side, fantastic. My wife & daughter had wings with coleslaw and hush puppies. I couldn't say anything before I was finished eating! I had to write this review!!! Next time we're dining in the restaurant. 10 out of 10. Exceeded all expectations. I'm going to eat a hush puppy now. You should place your order or get yourself there!

The food was pretty good. I had chicken and waffles, and there's choices for meat and sides. The fried chicken was really crispy but the waffles was not what I expected, personally like crispy waffle, compared to fluffy one. However, overall was pretty good. Will visit again soon!

My husband and I have been wanting to try this on our yearly trips to greenbay, we finally made it and it was well worth it. Food was amazing big portions low prices great staff. My husband is still talking about it the next day. Highly recommend we had alot left to take back to hotel with us

Not a bad place at all. I grew up in NC so this place brought back that homey vibe. We stood there waiting for someone to seat us but turns out, you just find yourself a seat when you walk in.

We came when it wasn't too busy and the food and service was stunning. The appetizer portions are huge so it's best to order them if you have a group of 4 or more. I,on the other hand, tried to finish them with my partner and failed. 10/10 totally worth the food coma.

I had the chicken and waffle. The waffle was a little too thick for me otherwise everything was good.

Been coming here since I was living in Memphis. It is everything good about southern food, up north. Amazing fried chicken, catfish, ribs, cornbread, red beans and rice, gumbo, pecan pie... EVERYTHING!!!

First time here The atmosphere was wonderful. Playing all the oldies I loved it. Food was wonderful also. The gentleman waiter was very nice. The cook was awesome.

Not sure what to expect when I walked in. The decor was very southern and warm and full of soul. We were greeted almost immediately by a very friendly gentleman who seated us immediately. Our drinks were brought out quickly and were refilled often throughout our stay. There was a little wait on the food but only because they make it all from scratch.

The cornbread was sweet like a good southern recipe should be. The chicken was juicy and hot. The catfish was full of flavor and not dry. The ribs were tangy and delicious. The red beans and rice were very nice and the Cajun fries were a little spicy and a lot yummy. The waitress visited us often but didn't bother us. Our drinks were never empty. Overall very good experience and we look forward to visiting again.

THE FOOD WAS GREAT! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GREAT! THE FEEL AND AMBIANCE FANTASTIC! I AM COMING BACK AND FOUND THE BEST SPOT IN APPLETON DOWNTOWN! THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD FOOD!

Frog legs, Cajun catfish with fries and collard greens. Bottomless sweet tea and banana pudding for dessert. Way too much food but when your at Cozzys everything is so good you just want it all.

Having my relatives and both sides of the family from the South and generations going back in Mississippi and Memphis, I miss the true southern food.
First time here, got the 2 meat plate with catfish and sausage and collard greens, hush puppies and corn bread. The collard greens were amazing, the hush puppies were Perfect. Everything was perfect!
Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Haven't had okra or catfish this good since I was in South Carolina. Ribs were fall off the bone. Quality and ample portions.

This is by far the best restaurant I have eaten at since I was a kid. Fried chicken was great, ribs fall off the bone. The shredded pork the best. Hush puppies were great even served with honey. This is the best food period. A must stop period . Great blues music is played while you eat. Owner very nice and really cares about what they are serving . The guy who waited on us took pride in what we were getting . Banana pudding is a must Even if you have to leave with it in a cup.
