Marquette Park

Wonderful little riverside park to stop by. Make sure you take a ride on the dog.

It's beautiful place to sit and relax or fish I live about an hour away and wish I lived closer

Awesome park on the waterfront. Restrooms were clean, views were awesome. Nice walking path. There are a couple of covered areas and benches along the way. There's also a boat launch and parking. A little gem of a place for the city.

A nice peaceful area along the Mississippi River in Savanna IL. They have boat launches and designated fishing areas. Plenty or benches and pavilions to stop and enjoy the beauty.

Unfortunately the West side is back under water. East side is at least open for traffic. And just as soon as the water level goes back down to the Mississippi River. Have no fear Brian M & his crew will promptly have the park cleaned up once again from anything left in the grass, from sticks to garbage...Making it pretty once again, just like he always does🥰

Marquette park has a well maintained boat launch and restroom facilities. Launching was easy even with the lower water levels. Make sure to drive over the speed bumps slowly as some of them are rather large and or steep! There may be a short wait to enter or leave the park due to the seemingly frequent trains that travel adjacent to the park. Very long boat and trailer combinations may have to find other parking, but a 21' boat and tow vehicle fit easily.

This is a beautiful memorial park. It has a nice view of the Mississippi River and the Savanna bridge crossing over to Iowa.

Beautiful place for walk they have benches and tables . The best thing about this place is boat loading area along with parking for both cars and trailer

This is a park that is right on the Mississippi River people launched their boats and fish along the River Banks wonderful place to have a picnic

Great place to visit and view the Mississippi. Nice place for a picnic or walk.

Quiet and enjoyable short trail to walk by the Mississippi river. Here you can watch barges traveling on the river and freight trains running and honking on the other side of the trail.

Biased because I built the bridge and my favorite spot to take photos of my toys. Lots of parking for boat trailers.

Absolutely stunning views & nature as well as over two dozen bald eagles on the river! :)
Remarkably clean pullover & viewing areas.
Minimal people so social distancing was absolutely NOT a problem.
Just an overall thoroughly enjoyable hour or so watching all the eagles & other birds! :)

There was still snow on the Mississippi River when we were there but a great memory created with friends! Park extends along a significant part of the river

Good boat ramps and the restroom facilities there are taken care of to the best of thier abilities. On weekends it does get busy. 1 small tip if you're in a hurry. I load then take boat across tracks to finish tie down and clean up so I don't get stuck by trains. Tracks can get busy there.

only downside is trains frequently pass by blowing their horns
