I love old fashioned ice cream, and this place has a room of flavors. The owner is nice and always accommodates our daughter's dairy allergy by getting a sorbet from a new container in the back to ensure no contamination. It's a roadside attraction because of the two giant ice cream cones beside it. Lots of outdoor seating so you can enjoy your cold treat outside in the warmth of a nice summer day.

Wow!!!!!! A bang for your buck!!! Got a bacon cheeseburger and it was fabulous!!! Very clean and neat . Good color, friendly service. Lots of choices . And let's not forget the ICE CREAM!!!! I LIKE IT ALOT!!! Looking forward to get back there

We were camping at Mississippi Palisades State Park and this was a great spot to get a treat on a hot day! Lots of ice cream flavors to choose from!

We got ice cream and a shake. Both were tasty and not skimpy, I had a single dip cake cone. The staff was very friendly at the drive through. We'd go again!

The burgers are bigger than you would think, 1/3 lb patties. Cheese curds are perfectly fried. And the ice cream is delicious! The staff has always been friendly. Highly recommended.

If you haven’t been here, or it’s been a while… It is worth the trip. The burgers are delicious and the cheese curds are the best cheese curds anywhere around. The ice cream is always delicious and the employees are smiling and happy to serve.

Love it here. The kind staff were extremely busy but sure did get the orders out. I live up the block now few years and walked in Shivers. Absolutely Immaculate. Clean and fresh ice creams. Great job and I'll be back soon. Oh bought some coconut explosion ice cream to go.

They have hard scoop and make the best malts. We drive 40 miles just for ice cream!

Best pork tenderloin sandwich ever! The onion rings, not quite on par with the pork sammy. And we got regular - sized malts (not the large size) and they came in an old fashioned malt glass with extra on the side in the metal cup they mixed it in. I can't speak to the drive thru or the many flavors of ice cream, but I'd go back for that pork tenderloin any time.

Had a banana split and it was awesome and service was fast. Prices are very good!

If you want a perfect classic burger or fries crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside you need to come to this place now! I had a great latte and the service is amazing as well!

My kids and I stopped by Shivers when we biked into town after exploring the beautiful nature trails in Savannah, IL. It was very hot, 105° with the heat index. We arrived at 2:00 but it was closed. Google had said that they opened at 11:00 but the sign said 4:00. We were super bummed! As we went across the parking lot I started talking to a woman parked near the store that turned out to be the owner, Coralee. I laughed and told her we were there for ice cream and didn't realize she was closed. I asked if there was another ice cream shop in town... which apparently there isn't unless we wanted to bike across the Mississippi river she said. She laughed and then offered to open the store for us! She was so incredibly nice!! I told her it wasn't necessary but she insisted...she said she was there anyway because she had a shipment coming in. She then brought us inside, uncovered the ice cream tubs and told the kids they could sample anything they liked. She explained how short staffed they have been which is why they didn't open until 4:00 now. She got us each scoops of ice cream, let us sit down in the nice air conditioning and we just chatted about her business and her grandkids and such. She would not even let us pay!!! She said her cash register and card scanner weren't open yet anyway and she was happy for it to be on the house. I offered to give her cash and she still refused! She honestly has to be one of the nicest people I have ever met. When her delivery truck came she told us we could stay as long as we liked and then disappeared to handle that. We slipped the cash into the tip jar, finished our ice cream, cleaned up our table and left. My kids talked all the way back on the trails how nice she was to have done that. They are STILL talking about it a couple weeks later! Thank you so much Coralee... you totally made our day! I would recommend this business to anyone and everyone!! Hopefully she can find more help so she can be open her full hours!!!

I pray I get to come back here relatively soon for the selection that they had to offer. I had never had a blueberry waffle Icecream before but I truly hope I'll get to try some of the other outrageous names that they had to offer. It would only be a good time and delicious bite to eat.

I always love going here. We work weekends and it's always nice to get a treat after work and if I happen to have my dog they will give him his own little treat. Sad the fried pickles seem to be out.

Great ice cream & fast service in the drive thru! They have a ton of clean & nice seating in a covered area outside. Really a lovely place!
