This place is truly amazing, I’ve been going to Karen for years! ( in person and over the phone ). Let me tell you, she has been the ONLY person to ever cure my acne. Not only are they so amazing at what they do, they’re extremely kind and welcoming. If you’re having any doubts about coming here don’t hesitate, you will feel heard and be treated with extremely kind, professional women. Thank you Skin Theory fam for being the best place to exist in Glen Ellyn!!! I truly would be lost with you all.

After trying several creams and medicines to be ineffective for my 16 year old daughter, we found skin theory. It has helped my daughter learn how to properly care for her skin and worked to clear up her acne. They are so informative and treat each patient as an individual.

I’ve been going to Skin Theory since they opened. All the aestheticians are knowledgeable and friendly. From the minute you walk in the aroma and decor give you a warm relaxing feel. Vivianna is who I book with, I’ve done various facials, skin treatments and eyebrow waxing. She has also worked with my teenage sons and has kept their skin acne free. Vivianna knows what my skin needs and I always leave there with a glow and very satisfied. I highly recommended you visit Skin Theory and Vivianna!

Before Skin Theory, I was considering a THIRD round of Accutane. I’ve been a client for 4+ years and my skin has never looked or felt better! The professional estheticians at Skin Theory are wonderful. All of the estheticians listen to their clients concerns and tailor the in salon skin care treatments and home care routines to meet the “individual” needs of the client. I appreciate how peaceful, clean and welcoming the salon is too. The front desk staff are knowledgeable about the skin care products and go the extra mile to get products shipped out to family members who live out of town. I highly recommend Skin Theory for those with acne to those with aging skin - everyone at Skin Theory works together as a team to take care of the client. I’ve been going to Skin Theory since it opened and they always are adding new client services with the latest technology and new products. Such a comfortable setting to relax and be pampered. Viviana is amazing and I consistently see her for facials and brows. Such a noticeable difference after every service! Both my son and daughter have seen her as well for facials and there’s nothing better than a glowing teenager!

We absolutely love Viviana at Skin Theory! She is wonderful and my skin looks great! My son, 11 and daughter, 9 also have started coming and love her as well. So great to teach them about skincare early. The front desk staff cannot be beat! So beyond warm and friendly!

I have been going to skin theory for the last 3-4 years and have seen Viviana. She has done just about every service they offer On me and I have always been happy. I love the product line and have referred so many to enjoy the pampering. My son has gone a few times too to help prevent acne and just get pores cleaned out and do preventative care. I have been going to Skin Theory since they have opened their doors. I have very reactive and sensitive skin (aka many issues!). Karen has been able to diagnosis and treat so many of my skin issues. At my yearly check in with my dermatologist, he was impressed with a tricky diagnosis Karen has been able to make (and treat!) he commented "very impressive, many dermatologists fail to make that diagnosis." And they keep my eyebrows looking amazing too! I can't say enough about the services I have received, the quality of the products, the vibe of the studio, and the incredible staff!! I feel so lucky that Skin Theory is here in Glen Ellyn!

Amazing! I’ve struggled with acne prone skin/problem skin since my teenage years. I am currently in my early 30’s and so grateful I found Skin Theory! The detailed information they provided for do’s and don’t’s, food choices, chemicals to avoid and beneficial supplements really provided me with the wow factor.

I have gone through the acne program, and got my skin perfected by Rachael!! I had very challenging skin to begin with and had it cleared within a year!! I now love to get my eyebrows done and occasional treatments done as well!! Skin Theory is a blessing for young & old(er) skin! ❤ I first started taking my kids to see Karen years ago to help clear skin issues - problems were always solved. The past few years I’ve been going to Viviana for facials, peels and anything helpful for making aging skin glow! She’s my girl - I just love her! I have had two services at Skin Theory now. Both my lash lift and LED facial were wonderful. I’ve had many facials over the years and this was by far the best and most customized. Vivianna really took her time to understand my skin concerns and goals. The facial really combined relaxation and efficacy perfectly. The staff are all so friendly and nice and the prices are very reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
