Taqueria Tsunami

I love fusion restaurants and I love tacos, so that brought us to taqueria tsunami. This place is one of our favorites, the fusion of flavors that they are able to bring out is unique and delicious. I have not had a bad taco yet. The carnitas, short rib and rich man's tacos are my favorite. But if you want to taste pure perfection try the short rib quesdilla. It is THE best thing on the menu and unforgettable.

I eat here often via Uber Eats and the food is always excellent. Today was our first time dining in, at the patio. While we experienced an unfriendly paying customer in the store, the staff made up for it ten fold. It was completely out of their control, however this is quite literally the most caring, kind and respectful team. GREAT show of whom this business hires and their values/standards. Our salads looked fantastic, tasted divine and the store is beautiful. A wonderful, wonderful experience thanks to the team on schedule today.

My now boyfriend brought me here on our 3rd date and I have been in love with him and this place ever since.

Location: The location is a standalone and decent size

Parking: Plenty of parking and easy

Service: The service is always great! No waiting on food or drinks.

Ambiance/Crowd: Casual, family-oriented

Food/Drink: 10/10 Food is so good! We always get the nachos and I get the chicken enchilada bowl - so much flavor and so good!

Would I go back? 100x yes, this place is always top of my list.

We celebrated a family member’s retirement at the Johnson Ferry location. 16 hungry people.
The Staff and Manager were outstanding.
Allowed us to come early and helped us set up the table with table cloth, candles, balloons, glitter. Etc ..

Been coming here for years, so I already knew the food was good that's neither here not there. But our server Kamaya was amazing! She rolled with all our jokes and was a blast to chat with! Great energy great service give my girl Kamaya a raise AND all your tips she deserves the world. Kamaya for president!!!!

This is only my second time eating at this location and the food has been great both times. I like that they have hooks under the bar area for ladies to hang their purse on. The table tops could use a good scrubbing one night after closing. They have some kind of buildup on them. We will revisit.

Social distancing was enforced. Staff wore face mask. Service was great so was the food! The best was the avocado cilantro egg rolls. We also order cold noodles, order the steak med rare and came out perfectly cooked. We each picked 3 tacos of our choices, very good also.

Wonderful experience. We were able to make reservations online even though we called earlier and they said there were no openings. The food was delicious. The drinks were delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was fun. They didn’t rush us even though they were super busy. I definitely recommend this restaurant for interesting and flavorful selections!

Concepts are extreamly interesting if you understand where are they came and how they fused. The menu design is understanding of Race and Culture. This is Refreshing like a Tsunami. A place where you are able to taste various kinds of fusion dishes. Eastern style western and Western style eastern Cusines. Also, I personally liked this clean atmosphere.

We frequent several different locations in the Marietta area and have outstanding experiences each time. This is a go-to spot for my family. I'm addicted to the bowls, and we also order the edamame every time.

This place is great and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

The Asian Nachos are a MUST have starter. More than enough for two people. The fusion taco selection is great too. You can do an Asian theme, maybe a sea food theme, or just mix and match them all.

It's a good atmosphere and the deck is perfect in the summer for eating outside.

I always have a great experience at this location. Service is fast and friendly and they make great suggestions. Our favorites are the tacos and drinks.

My family and I love Tqueria Tsunami so we were so excited to find one somewhat close to us. There is tons of seating and we went first thing when they opened so not many people were there yet. My husband and I got Tsunami Duos. I specifically chose the Pacific Rim Taco and the Aloha Taco with fried yucca. Both tacos are my absolute favorite since both of them have a little kick to them and the seafood is always cooked to perfection. The fried yucca is one of my go to sides since you can't get it most other places and it's incredibly healthy and unique. My daughter got a cheese quesadilla which she definitely devoured and loved! We also got some chips and queso to share and the queso is divine. If you're a fan of white queso then you have to get that for sure. The service was great and we overall we're very happy being able to go to a place we love.

amazing staff, amazing food, amazing drinks. The tacos are always on point and I haven't found a single taco I don't like yet, though the short rib taco still is a clear winner for me. Prices on drinks and food are very competitive compared to other locally owned places for the quality/quantity that you get.

Times are tough these days for local restaurants so I'm glad to see Taqueria Tsunami still open and going strong. Will be back to support these guys!

The Avacado egg rolls & cauliflower appetizers and noodle salad with sauted shrimp were ALL so delicious, perfectly prepared and didn't need additional seasoning added to it.

The staff was so attentive, kind, courteous and patient answering my questions about menu items

love this place! the latin-asian fusion food definitely hits multiple cravings at once.

I ordered the asada zing tacos with cucumber salad (pictured) while my brother got the garden shrimp quesadilla with the tator tots. the steak in the tacos is sooo good!

the wait can get a bit long on the weekends, so I usually order pickup. the portion is great for the price, and the food is definitely worth the wait!!

First visit. Fresh and tasty food coupled with prompt and courteous service will have us returning to try more of the varied menu.

Great place. Chris my bartender she was amazing. Superb hand crafted drinks. The BBQ Korean style ribs tacos were so juicy and full of flavor. The Yuca fries with spicy mayo we are great pearing with the tacos. Look forward to my next visit there.

I loved the tacos so much. For an appetizer, we had the cilantro avocado egg rolls. So good! For the main meal, I had the Asada Zing aka the beef bulgogi taco, the tempura shrimp and the Pacific Rim crusted Mahi taco. The Asada Zing was my favorite. The beef was so tender and flavorful.. I can't remember what my mom had but she kept talking about how good it was and how she really enjoyed it. We both also had the cucumber salad which was pretty light and refreshing. The drinks were a little weak. My mother and I had the Dragonfruit Mojito. Delicious and will definitely be back.
